Unprofessional Actions Might Stagnate Her Career

Moving from one station to another often signals that the concerned talent has opted for greener pastures and better opportunities. While others have been successful in their move, others were not as fortunate, and consequently, their careers faded slowly into oblivion. Nonetheless, some talents are persistent in pursuing their career that they actually have made the rounds of major stations.

For someone who has moved around the three networks, Sultry Talent (ST) has managed to reinvent herself since she was discovered in her first station. ST, however, was unhappy, as she did not have projects in that station, which prioritized other talents. Besides, ST was gearing towards an image that already belonged to one of her contemporaries in the said station. Luckily, her second station made her a household name, as she appeared in various types of projects, such as drama, comedy, and game shows.

Nonetheless, as her second station is still searching for its niche, ST surprised the public by moving to her third station, which some claim was a good move on her part. With her management having close ties with the third station, ST was given several marked projects. Despite constant denials that she had enrichment done on her body, ST had to make sure that she would not be outdone by her homegrown costars. However, something was amiss.

During one taping schedule, ST begged off and cited “sickness” as her reason for not being able to show up. When an actress fails to attend taping, she ruins the schedule of the production. Thus, the heads have two options. First, scriptwriters will revise the script to write out the character played by the absent talent for the shooting day. Second, the production will pack up. Regardless of the options, every delay in shooting is equal to financial loss.

While being sick was a legitimate reason, ST was absolved until someone saw that ST posted a photo with her boyfriend. The alleged photo was taken at the time when ST claimed she was sick. The picture indicated that she seemed to be on holiday abroad with her boyfriend. When the production saw the photo, the management of ST was immediately contacted to complain about her unprofessionalism.

When so many talents are out of work, ST opted to behave that is quite risky and embarrassing. As ST is among the lucky ones to have another chance to make it big via her third network, she opted to be amateurish about it by first, skipping a career responsibility and lying about it, and second, by posting a photo, which could incriminate her, without thinking before clicking. Even with a competent management, continuing her unprofessional behavior might end up with her having no acting career at all.  Her third network has a rich pool of talents and ST is just one of them.
