Anyone who becomes the weakest link of cynicism, negativity, and narrow-mindedness , hatefulness become the hallmark of Filipino character?
Simply because the perception of someone like KC who studied abroad makes her "modern/liberated" in those who are quick to judge, justify people in this forum to throw vile and venomous judgments. She's a smart, generous, compassionate, down to earth woman who has been the Philippine UN WFP Ambassador for years who has done so much to contribute to the easing of hunger in the Philippines in the world. Isn't it possible that studying abroad can expand your mind, and broadn one's horizons to become a better person?
Hopefully, the crab mentality in the country becomes a thing of the past, instead, let civility, kindness, fair mindedness and humanity prevail if we are to be part of a more civilized, peaceful world.

The celebrity, KC Concepcion is reaching out to her followers and fans by posting something she believes. The rash judgment, biased/prejudiced uncalled for reactions/comments perturbs and puzzles. Where is all this negativity coming from? Under the guise of freedom of speech, many forgets that freedom comes with responsibility.
