      I like you. I love Eraserheads. But this is your fault. Porke si Ely Buendia ka dapat i-open na ang gate kahit late ka? Kahit sinong ma-late, hindi ina-allow na i-open ang gate. Yung sa booking s anext flight, di nmana kasi updated agad ang online page. Meron kasi talagang bumibili over the counter. Sana next time, dumating ka nang maaga para walang hassle. Kasi at the end of the day, kasalanan nyo yan; nakalagay naman sa ticket kung anong oras ka dapat mag check-in at mag-board.

I used to be a fan, but when i met him, siya nga ang couldn't be bothered. Nakasimangot even if people around him were polite to him, kala mo kung sino. Pwe!

    3. Regardless of what happened next, they missed the flight and kasalanan nila. If there are seats available for sale on the next flight, they could have bought it if it was urgent knowing fully well that it was their fault and these people are also running a business na may pinapasuwelduhan din. These people are also following protocol so may mga times na there are things beyond their control. I get that you are frustrated kasi known sila for flight delays biglang strict sila pag closed na ang gate. This is also due to airline regulations since they still do final checks (kaya the plane is not moving) before take off. Some might say, ano ba naman ang 5 minutes. Well, tell that to air traffic control na malamang hirap na coordinating flight paths dahil sa unpredictability ng pagdating at pag-alis ng flights. Bottom ljne, I would not rant if I am the cause of the delay in the first place. Well, that's just me. I am no Ely Buendia, who comes off as a little too entitled in this story

    8. Anon 2:12, I was not defending Cebu Pac. I've had my fair share of flight delays. There was even a time na naiwan pa ng plane yung bags ko. All I was saying was hindi ako magrereklamo kung sa sarili ko alam kong may mali sa part ko. And last I checked everyone airs out their reactions and personal views here which is why it's called the comments section. To your point, I am entitled to react to what's posted the same way that everyone else is including you.

    10. 2:12. To be fair ive been flying tru ceb pac for 5 yrs now (around 10-15 flyts per yr) and used other services also like pal, jet star, air asia and sia. But i always go back to ceb pac. Its good for my buget and i like the service. Sometimes late but not always

    13. I heard that this guy is always late. I got to experience it first hand when he had a concert here, he was more than 2 hours late. Umuwi na nga yung ibang manonood eh kasi di nakahintay. Well, it is great he experienced this. I know di na siya matututo kasi he is too proud to be on time, but serves him right for not being on time. Kaya nga may abiso na dapat maaga before the flight eh.

    3. Yes, madalas palpak sila and yes, minsan may mga nagsusungit na workers pero ipasara kagad, sana man lang naisip mo kung gaano karami yung mawawalan ng trabaho kapag nagsara yun. Hindi lahat ng taong nagtatrabaho dun eh ganun sa iniisip mo. Common sense lang. Pagiging isip bata yang pinaiiral mo. Pasara kagad, parang ang dali ah porke may attitude problem ang ibang employees. May masabi ka lang kahit walang sense... Sheesh...

    4. I hate cebu pacs customer service as well but majority of pinoys were able to travel abroad nowadays because of this budget airline compared to 10 years ago and many ofws can now go home more often. Yun lang naman

    6. Sorry to say. Kapal mo para pasara ceb pac. Cebu pac open doors sa phils to make it very affordable mag travel. They made it for evry Juan, that PAL's owner had to open air phil to cope with budget flyt demand of pinoys. Now even ordinary pinoy can travel ph and asian neighbors far more frequently. Thank u to ceb pac's vision more than 10yrs ago to give evry Juan an affordable option to fly. Yes. Iam a proud ex employee of ceb pac more than 10yrs ago. Their vision back then is now a reality and we are all enjoying it right now! I am happy for ceb pac!!

I've flown to different destinations using both PAL and Cebu Pacific and honestly, PAL has lesser delayed flights but, Cebu Pacific makes flying really pocket friendly so I like BOTH airline companies. Parehong may pros and cons ang pagtangkilik sa kanila but in the end, good memories palagi ang meron ako sa service provision nila. Ang divang pasahero, madadagdagan lang ng wrinkles. To rant on social media because of such reasons na ikaw pa ang mali ay sobrang nakakaturn-off. Buti nga 'yan lang ang dinanas mo. Mas parusa kaya 'yung nasa terminal ka at jebs na jebs ka na at di ka sanay sa toilet na andaming pumapasok every now and then?! Kaya tigilan mo ang arte, Ely.

Di nyo alam baka gusto lang makauwi nung tao dahil may emergency sya, nagkasakit ang anak o namatayan. Tao din kami noh and although we choose this profession and we know the sacrifice and commitment that it entails,that STILL doesn't make us Saints! Parang trivia ata, walang sumagot kasi naintimidate yata ang fans dhil English speaking ang host. Tpos sabi nya ipasa na lng ang mic, kung kanino matapat sya ang pwedeng sumagot at magtanong.   24. May show sa cable tv. Airport personnel, how they handle the situation. Nakakatuwa, kasi pati yung mga nag wo2rk tumatakbo para lang umabot yung mga passenger nila.. Super haba ng pasncya nila, mas madalas pa nga fault ng mga passenger ang problma, pero they handle very well. Hope yung mga taga cebupac personnel, watch that show. Madami sila matutunan.

  26. ground staff po ako ng isang m. i airline. even if the plane is still on the gate they cannot accept u if your late. they have things to finalize like the final manifest, load sheet and cargo documents which requires coordination from pilots, flight dispatcher and ground staff. if tatangapin ka pa gagawa sila again ng bago which will delay the flight na. if delayed na yung flight then bka pwede k pa i accomodate sir pero kung on time hindi na dahil yung mga pasahero na on time nman sa eroplano magagalit. i understand the sentiment afterwards pero sana kung di kayo late edi wala sana naging aberya po.

Maraming beses akong na late sa eroplano, madalas talagang wala kang magagawa, hindi ka nila tatangapin kapag sarado na ang door ng plane pero minsan din kung makikiusap ka ng matino sa mga ground staff at na check nila na ok sa captain, pwede nilang buksan ulit ang door. Yun nga lang pahiya ka pa rin sa mga fellow passengers mo he he.

    6. I used to work in an airline as a ground staff and this is so true! Kapag napagbibigyan ibang latecomers, kahit ilang minutes yan, grabe ang delay na nagagawa niyan so the ground staff most of the time chooses not to load these pax kung late na. Unless pwede mapakiusapan si Captain about it then dun pa lang pwede sila makapasok.

Ayaw nko pasakayin ksi nga obvious na d na pwede..but since it was my fault..super nkiusap ako at halos nagiyak iyakan na..ayun naawa sakin..pinasakay ako😁.. sa ngayon..khit piso fare..d mo din masusulit binayad mo..pero dahil gusto mo mkamura..susugal ka na sana hindi delayed .at bibigyan k nmn nila na free ticket kung sakali.yes free "one way " ticket. 😀valid for 6 mos upon issuance..so obliga ka bili another ticket...kataba utak..pero dahil gusto nyo ng mura 300 to 1k cheapest nila roundtrip..eh wag magexpect bg sobra..gusto mo special treatment..ikaw bili private plane..hehe

    9. true. im also an airline staff. and once close na ang gate, closena talaga yan. madami pang proseso ang pagdadaanan just to authorize na iopen ulit, and it will cause delay. pag madelay, even 5mins lng, gagawa na ng delay report ang staff, and it shud be reasonable or else mamemohan sila. and most probably, just because of an irresponsible pax, its very unreasonable for the airline. madami pang behind the scene just to make sure the aircraft wont be delayed for pushback. so pede ba ely, kung umasta ka parang ang dali lng sayo lahat.

    14. That is true. I work for an airline as well. Pag nadelay ang isang flight, malaki rin possibility na ung mga succeeding flights na gagawin nung eroplano will be delayed as well. It might even affect other flights not related to the aircraft, if you will also take into account gate availability. Domino effect yan. Lalo na kung sandali lang ang turn time nila.

  37. Dahil hindi pa nakasakay yung pasahero, wala pang service na binibigay ang cebupac katumbas ng binayad ni ely. Tama lang na i-expect ni ely na ilagay sya sa next flight lalo na may mga bakanteng seats pa naman. Yung ugali ng cebu pacific staff na pababayaan ka dahil kesyo na-late ka ay halos katumbas ng pagnanakaw ng pamasahe mo. Ilang tao ang nale-late kada flight dahil sa grabeng traffic sa pilipinas? Sa pilipinas lang uubra ang ganitong kalakaran ng cebu pacific. Sa ibang bansa, kahit "no-show" ka pa meron ka pa ring karapatan sa pamasaheng binayad mo basta magparebook ka lang.

  42. Your Highness Ely Buendia, I wished that before you cussed Cebu Pacific and humiliated its employee, that you've taken time to understand the repercussions of your tardiness. An airplane is not a bus nor an FX that can just open their doors to you and let you get in even if they're about to leave. There are documents, final checks, reports, and air traffic that are involved, every minute counts. Least thing you couldve done was to ask nicely and not act as if Cebu Pac owes you that flight.

  47. im a frequent traveller because of my work and i might say ang lakas talagang mangpower trip ng cebu pacific. we had a baggage na packed in a box but the cebu pac staff said we have to buy IN THEIR OWN CAAP STORE the box and packing tape and we have to repack it again! eh di wow! pinagkakitaan pa kami! kung hindi kami bibili we have to leave our things in the airport..eh d sila naman nakinabang..grabe lang! lol

      We have brought boxes and packages with us before and no problem naman. Ah, we only fly to local and international destinations more than 20x a year.

    Yes, the supervisor was rude on how they treat the passenger but Ely should also understand that they are not eligible for the next flight just like that since it is the passenger's fault why they weren't on the flight.

    Even if Ely was at fault, it doesn't mean that Cebu PAC provides high quality service. How do you explain the overbooking last December? I should know, I was a victim.

  59. I work with an airline her in dubai if u are late we really can't accept u anymore! There are things you consider like ur slot to take off ask atc (air traffic control) the reason sinabi ng agent na wla ng seat maybe sa class ng ticket na binili nya is not avail anymore may mga subclasses ang ticket so if l class binili mo dapat marebook ka sa l class if not waitlist ka or bili ka ng higher class if avail pa. Overbooking is allowed sa airline based on iata rule just like hotels they also overbook. We want every single seat to be occupied kasi some passenger does not show up.we compensate by giving round trip ticket or upgrading to business class. Delays happen all the time but not like cepupac na consistent tlga sa delays..but then again kahit anu pa sabihin ng bisor kay ely d nya tatangapin kc masama tlga loob nya na naiwan sya...its not fair to rant and blame it to the staff..

    1. Andaming example ng kapangitan ng service ng CP pero hindi isa ang nangyari dito. Hindi sila pwedeng pagbuksan, hindi sila pwedeng ilipat~ lang ng basta-basta kasi sila naman ang may kasalanan, hindi ang airline. May slots allotted for online booking at meron sa over-the-counter, at hindi naman by-the-second ang update ng online websites. Kung gusto nilang makasiguro na meron pa talagang available na seats, dapat pumunta sila sa counter at hindi lang nagrely sa website.


      Also: nagtrabaho ka na ba ever sa Service industry? O kahit contractual work man lang. Problema sa argument mo, hindi mo naisip na kapag budget airline, ibig sabihin mas maliit din bayad sa trabahador. Ano, papayag kang 1000 pesos lang bayad sayo pero ang expectation, world-class service? Never ka pang naging frustrated dahil underpaid ka pero antaas ng expectation sa quality of work mo? Hindi ka mabuburya na sinunod mo ang SOP ng 100% tapos may isang walang alam sa SOP na pasahero ang nagrant tungkol sayo sa social media? Swerte mo naman.

  64. may bayad ang ground time ng mga aircraft. sa cebpac, 20mins lng ang alloted ground time nila na mag emark/disembark ng pax. so hindi pede madedelay dahil lng sa isang shungang pax dahil napakalaki ng penalty per minute kung lalampas sila sa ground time. - airline employee

  67. agahan nyo kasi. hindi yung puro pasang awa ang dating nyo sa airport..dapat nga 1-2hrs before the boarding time andun na kayo e..kasi kahit kaming regular people mangyayari din yan kung di kami umabot sa boarding time. porke celeb ka ganun expecting ng special treatment? saka puro kayo reklamo about cebu pac..de ibang airline company sakyan nyo hehe..aminin nyo kasi mura talaga ng malayo ang cebu pac compared to PAL.

    Kung sa normal customer lang ito na nagbook sa low-cost carrier like Cebu Pacific, malamang hindi pa sila na-transfer, babayaran pa nila yung ticket.
