    2. 5:38 did u even see their other performance? Baka mapahiya ka rin te.

What has happened to Philippine Athletics?

    ReplyDelete

    1. Itanong mo kay Peping Cojuanco.

      Delete

  8. i wish i was there to hug him and tell him that things happen for a reason. he must have trained hard, waited for this moment but it just didn't work out this time. i would like to congratulate him because he got this far and i pray that he'll continue his journey of becoming the best diver he can possibly be. don't stop the dream, young man, train harder, practice more! dream big! i will be waiting for that day when you get your own medal. i am proud of you. =>consciencematters

    1. The only Good comment

      Delete
    2. I respect ur opinion 3:27 pero for me, it was obvious they did not train hard enough. Walang chamba sa sports. So yes, maganda yung intention mo to boost their confidence and to practice more BUT give those boost to students or amateurs NOT athletes representing our country.

      Delete
    3. True. Let's not shame our athletes for one bad performance. They proved their worth being on the national team. They're good people based on their initial comments. Hope they will be more motivated to do better. Stop the hate! Cheer them on!

      Delete
    4. One person makes a positive comment and one's negativity ruins it. 12:09, you must have a sad life.

      Delete
    5. 12:09, obvious na hindi ka real athlete. As in kahit sandamakmak na practice, NEVER ka pumalpak sa performance?! As in NEVER???

      Delete
    6. nobody's perfect..they really should consider this as part of the many challenges in life that is yet to come.. to make it better in the future, and soon be applauded and not humiliated... now, they learned from the mistakes of life and soon, they will make Filipinos proud of them...

      Delete
    7. Only if everyone thinks like this. Those guys need encouragement, just try to picture yourselves in their shoes then that's when you do the laughing.

      Delete
    8. I agree with your comment 3:27!

    ReplyDelete
  12. WTF ang sakit!!!

    ReplyDelete
  13. God do they even know what they're doing???

    ReplyDelete
  14. Omg! Anyare? They don't deserve to represent on sea games. Madami magagaling sa atin bat sila kinuha.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Marunong naman. Kinabahan lang dyan.

    ReplyDelete

    1. then they dont need to be there coz dont they know how to focus

  16. Sorry! Sobra tawa ko dito!! Pero seryoso. Nakaka lungkot. Pinakita ng sea games kalagayan ng bansa naten. Lubog. Imagine 1 medal lang lamag naten sa myanmar. Napag iwanan na talaga tayo. Kaya please mga kababayan. Vote wisely. We need change. Really bad!

    2. So true klasmeyt!! I cant stop laughing as i was typing my msg.

    1. So kailangan muna hagisan ng piso ganon?

      Delete
  19. Totoo? Maraming magagaling? Eh bakit sila ung naipadala?

    1. True. Kawawa naman yung dalawa. Naka-zero na nga, nalait pa.

So, I am glad that both of them seem to be fine.

    ReplyDelete
  21. I feel bad for them. Imagine the shame they felt after getting straight 0. I'm still proud of them though, still fighting even if they're not at par with the other divers. I hope a lesson was learnt from this. Better luck next time :(

    ReplyDelete
  22. parang gusto ko magtago....

    ReplyDelete
  23. well they are the only ones with guts to join the SEA GAMES so for that KUDOS! aanhin mo naman ang magaling kung puro arte at ayaw ipakita sa buong mundo!

    ReplyDelete
  24. Kahit man lang sana sa attendance at nag show ng effort pumunta sana binigyan ng score.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Ako rin. At least they tried. It's so easy for bashers to mock, but they don't know the ordeal that these divers went thru unless they put themselves in the divers' shoes.

      Delete
  27. Nakakaawa.

    ReplyDelete
  28. Obviously sa mga disappointed na disappointed jan at sa mga hiyang hiya never pa kayo nakapagperform in any sport or artistic endeavour. FYI magaling sila may isa pa silang event na synchronized diving maayos nilang nagawa. Pinaghirapan nila yan. They deserve to be there. Ayun lang minsan talaga sa day of competition madaming factor at play. If you follow major sporting events madaming kang fail na makikita and we shouldnt make a big fuss out of it.

    1. Bulag ka ba? Nakita mo diving form nila? Hindi yan kaba lang. kulangb sa training!! Gosh!! Yan problema sa atin sanay sa better luck next time. Kawawa naman. They tried their best. Wake up people! Its time to say hindi pwede ang pwede na. Sports politics etc. Para naman umangat ulit ang bansa naten. Please wake up kababayang pinoy!! Please!! Madame tayong magagaling at matatalinong pinoy. Kailangan lang higher expectation ang accountabilty for everyJUAN! We need change!

    2. Anon 11:50; why so harsh? Have you seen their other dive? Siguro never kang nagperform o ngcompete in real life, kaya masyadong OA ang reaction mo sa failure nila. It happens. A lot. May pumipiyok sa concert, may nadudulas sa laro. That's despite all the practice and trainings.

If you want change, why don't you begin with yourself? Why don't you be the change that you want to see? Before their failed dive,do you know them? No. But now you do. Hope you are having a good fix right now.

    1. actually yung nag bungis ngisan pa sila after yung nakakairita. the mere fact na they felt ok with their performance was a negative sign. as much as pinagmaalaki natin na tayong pinoy, nakukuha pang tumawa kahit dumaan sa unos is not a great trait in all situations. yes, it shows positive attitude pero andun din yung pagiging indifferent sa nangyari.

      Delete
These two athletes never wanted such thing to happen but it did as things can sometimes go out of hands. Magaling kayo kuya bawi na lang next time.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Instead na pagtawanan sila dpat maging proud pa tayo kasi kahit hnd sila ready naglakas loob
sila makipaglaban sa seagames pra sa bansa natin. I heard na 4 days lang daw sila nagpractice. Tsk.

    ReplyDelete
I saw the sync dive, ok lang, there are still mistakes, not as good as we want them to be.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  37. based sa video parang kinapos sila..parang they are still forming yun pala nasa water na sila..they should have trained with the same distance..halatang hindi sanay sa ganun kababang diving board

    ReplyDelete
  38. ouch! i hope this experience makes them better next time. more practice pa. go lang!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  41. Nadulas sila pareho sa last jump nila kaya di nakatalon ng mataas.

    ReplyDelete
  42. Naawa naman ako. Pero napasaya ako Parang NESTEA
"Take the Plunge" hahaha kawawang pilipinas!

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  46. I feel for these two. I swim and I know masakit pumlakda. I admire the sportsmanship they showed despite the humiliation.
I don't know ha but maybe when they were training for the SEA Games. they were practicing from a higher elevation? Kaya sumobra ang flip nila?

    ReplyDelete
  47. Proud pa din, sana next time yung mga training nila and other athletes na din masupport kagaya ng pag support nila sa gilas or azkals. Ang dragon boat nga not supported by the gov pero Binigyan nila tayo ng honor, gold pa.

    ReplyDelete
  48. hindi ako natawa pero I felt bad for them. hindi naman siguro nila sinadya ang bad performance nila. better luck next time na lang siguro.
