He is right.. Also i think the issue here is not because of crossdressing. I heard from the grip vine that the third sex people who went there dress in a privocative manner but there are also some of them who did crossdressing that is in a nice classy and decent manner that was able to come inside.. Others who are showing clevage but doesnt sues or fits them and even super thich make up that looks like a drag queen they are the one that was not able to come inside. So i think the issue here is dress properly or else no entree.
wardrobe and even make up should not be the basis.... coz as far as i know, karamihan ng guests nila ay fashion designers, art and fashion enthusiasts..if thats the case, the clib should widen its perspective towards the arts and fashion. i believe a club is a place to express one self and have fun. its no church
While I disagree with the no cross dressing policy, or whatever they wish to call it, it IS true that a privately owned establishment can implement their own rules and policies. If people don't agree with the policies, then they and their friends can boycott the place. Unfortunately, you can't force them to change the rules, especially if they are being deliberately vague about the rules.
Medyo off nga si Geena, she was in a combat mode. But nonetheless let's empathise with her. She's leading a worthy advocacy and may pinanggagalingan sya.
On the other hand, Melo has breeding and class. Very diplomatic! Kudos to her as well.
Please read the whole thread, it is both educational and entertaining. We definitely need more education on the LGBT issues.
Tama! I have a lot of gay and lesbian friends and I love them! Kaya lang minsan ang OA nga ng response sa mga ganitong bagay eh kahit babae naman pag hindi nila type papasukin hindi nila papapasukin, plus there are different clubs that cater to different people. Like bawal ang babae sa gentlemen's club or may mga gay spas na bawal din ang girls. Parehas lang ng principle yun.
True, masyadong sensitive lang ang LGBT community. Kung hindi kayo inaccept sa isang place, then go somewhere else. Ang dami daming bar na pwedeng puntahan.
if such policy works in other country, i bet di yan mag work dito. especially now na the spotlight is on them. plus the presence of the social media..... i could smell: SHUT DOWN anytime soon
I hope this issue will be resolved asap. Business is very competitive in the Philippines.I don't think yours will go a long way.Sorry for you mukhang at lost kayo sa issue ng mga customer nyo.Basa basa rin pag me time.
All walks of life????? Pati mukhang nag rarally pag me protesta like anakbayan/bayan/anakpawis/samahang magbubukid ng pilipinas etc... para ikumpara sa studio 54! pakadramatic naman! Eh mga all walks of life na sinasabi niya eh mga moneyed yun and mga pinaggagawa sa loob ng studio 54 kaya naging notorious!
Wala naman palang policy so bakit nangyari ito? Ibig sabihin power tripper lang yung nagbabantay? E di magissue kayo ng statement from the employee saying na mali yun on his/her part! Wag na madaming satsat.
Please sa brunei and dubai niyo ipagsigawan yan wag sa isang third world country na sumusunod lang sa US! Safe kasi magrant dito, i want to see them rant that at middle eastern countries! Then they should rant and presssure countries like that! Sama nila si caitlin jenner para me impact!

So if not because of gender then why do they refuse entry for veejay twice? Uhhhm, he is a high end fashion designer. A decent one so I dont see any reason for it.
pati sa greenbelt... i forgot the name of the resto bar.... pag nakaupo na dun sa table nila sa labas... lalapitan ng mga waiters.. sasabihan na ndi daw pwede crossdresser sa bar nila...this is true... although marami tlga prostitute na trans sa greenbelt... pero u can never judge someone.. no one has the right... if may pambili sila ng produkto nyu.. bat nyu ipagkakait sa knila?
There are other costumers WHO can afford but gay to the max who loves to wear girly stuff, yet they refuse! Ang problema kasi gusto nila The Socialites of Manila lang. Pwehhh!!!!
#sossyproblems, ang babaw lang. Private property/business meron sila right to deny entry sa sa kahit kanino.
VALKYRIE YUCKEE...
This is definitely not an isolated case. I have read and heard stories of friends and their friends who have been denied but choose to move past the incident by keeping quiet or do not have enough klout to get their plea across to the people who can make a change.
True they are a private establishment and they have the right to set their own rules but if mag lalagay sila ng policy dapat strict ang implementation nila across all - hindi yung makikita ko na may nakakapasok dahil 1) may VIP table sila 2) may kilala sila sa loob.
Also, i see girls flaunting too much skin in valkyre so its not justifiable when they say that they just want to protect these transwomen na mabastos. Clubs, as a marketing strategy use women to pull guys in the club. Men who pay for bottles.
At sana yung mga tao, hindi din sila bobo enough to continue to patronize these establishments.
If you like cross dressing just do not go there. Why are you dying to enter this club anyway? It's like trying to be in a group that is rude to you. have some pride. Go to another club and boycott this one. If you are such social climbers you deserve the trashy treatment you are getting.
It's pretty simple I think for these establishments. If a bar will allow a lot of transgender or loud crossdressers inside. The bar losses the customers or the patrons that they want. They have to control the mix of the clientele to maintain their clientele. Most of the patrons of these establishment do not want to see a lot of transgender or loud crossdressers in the establishment. These are just one of those taboo issues that they don't want to discuss. If you don't like what they are doing then just don't patronize them. It's their loss anyway it's then that are loosing the customers.
THIS!!! In most cases, men pay for drinks - whether for themselves, for their friends or for women. And these men do not want to see a LOT of gays/transwomen (whatever you call it) inside the club!
Sige club pa more kayo! Ang payo ko sa mga sisterettes ko, huwag na kayo pumunta sa mga ganyang klaseng establishments kung alam nyo na mapaphiya or masasaktan lang loob nyo. its not nili limit ang freedom but at any rate waste of energy at beauty ang pumuna pa dyan. good morning to all! makisali din sa usapan pero unahan kona kayo ha serious ako masyado in life so it will reflect in my comment as well. No clients, no club. With that in mind, all human beings deserve respect. All. Even the ones that are not good to us. Responding badly to a bad remark doesn't make a bad situation good. It just perpetuates negative attitude. The LGBT community is a very happy and understanding crowd. No matter how badly they treat us, we will not treat them the same way. We are better than that.
Here in Europe transgenders are treated well... I have been in different famous clubs in Ibizza, London, Paris, Dublin. They treated us with respect and dignity. Magpakatotoo kayo. What a hypocrite!!! #fightignorance #beproud #equality4all
I am a Gay and not a cross dresser pero for some reason di rin ako pinapasok sa valkyrie, so nagtanong ako why im not allowed...sinagot lang ako na basta di po pwede! so sabi ko huh????? wtf walang reason eh decent naman suot ko (jeans and polo shirt) at may pera naman akong pang bayad.
