  8. sablay yung manloloko di na "we'll take you farther" tag line ng bpi plus ,ali pa grammar sa letter

    ReplyDelete
  9. aside sa wrong grammar at maling tagline- di din gumagamit ng ordinary cellphone # ang bpi-tsk! also be conscious din sa pag tapon ng bills nyo wag lng diretso itapon sa trash can dapat shred nyo muna

  10. Letter and envelope pa lang fake na. I have BPI credit card too at hindi ganyan magpadala ng letter ang BPI.

Yung paper parang bond paper lang, the real BPI letter thicker yung paper na parang specialty paper and mas maganda ang print. Even the font, sobrang fake! Low budget ang modus. Lol!

  11. kaya delikado itapon basta basta yung SOA. i watched one show sa discovery or natgeo, yung about identity thieves sa states. dapat daw may paper shredder ka for billing statements and other letters na andun yung mga info mo, kasi most people itatapon lang naman yan sa basurahan, and most trashcans nasa labas lang ng bahay na pwede kalkalin ng ibang tao. i'm surprised may gumagawa ng ganito sa pinas grabe na talaga mga modus ngayon!

    1. Was about to raise the same. Napanood ko rin to sa natgeo. You'll really wonder how they would know such details including address and transactions mo. Sana mabalita on national tv, reminding people to dispose billings in shred. Or e-billing nalang.

    2. Tama! Wala akong shredder but I burn all letters na may mga personal info about me.

  12. Thank you Ms Badette Hermosa de Leon and Fashion Pulis for sharing this!

  13. I think some people are missing the point - dineliver ung fake letter sa bahay ng writer. Meaning hindi lang alam ng syndicato ung personal and bank details nila, they have access to the writer's person and property. Kakatakot kaya un. It's not about halatang fake ung letter. The writer made that clear. That's some scary sh!t.

    1. Ay. Saan mo po itinatago ang savings mo? Sa ilalim ng unan?

  16. Ako din pag may mga regular phone calls claiming to be banks or utilities and ask ng personl and security info, i just tell them busy ako saka ko tatawagan yung number talaga nila sa mga SOA or billing statements. Wala akong shredder so pag nagdidispose ako pinagpupunit ko lang ng pirapiraso yung papel tipong mag 1000 pc puzzle muna sya bago nya mabuo yun haha.

    ReplyDelete

  18. Always be wary of where you use your credut cards. Some merchants connive with syndicates for fraud scam. Pati un kumukuha mga details nyo sa store or pra sa promo, pwedeng source ng info about you. Never surrender yoyr credit card. Kaht anong bangko ndi nila pinapasurrender ang credit card for cancellation or upgrade. They can just block it at their end and di na magagamit ung card.
Remember, the credit card is like your cash on hand. Pag nwala, anyone pwedeng gamitin to panggastos at kayo pa rin magbabayad

    1. Actually, credit card is not like a cash on hand. It's a credit on hand, anytime lol. If someone will use it on your behalf, you'll suffer from paying the credit including interest (and/or penalty if any), and worse than worse, you'll suffer from bad credit. You'll definitely lose more than cash.
