Marian seems like the type of person who will drop everything for her loved ones, esp now she's having her precious one. Parang si Regine now thatbshe has Nate she wants to be with him all the time. Nagiiba tlg priorities sa buhay, Marian has given everything for GMA it's time nrn to cherish her time being a wife and mom to be.
I fully understand her decision, this is such a brave decisions from her. Being pregnant isn't easy, especially the first trimester, you can't eat well, fatigue, etc. I believe she made the right desicion. Family comes first. God bless the Dantes

Bagay kay Heart kasi mukha naman talagang syang legit rich. Kaso di na sya pwede kasi may nakalinya nang show para sa kanila ni Lovi. Si Jen Mercado naman may show pa. Si Andrea may show na gagawin sa Cambodia, papunta sila doon ni Mikael this April. Si Carla may on-going show, she's the new addition to the cast of Parikoy( kakalabas lang nya kanina). Which leaves us with Solenn, Iya, Rhian, Kris Bernal, Max Collins, Megan Young. Hindi naman pwede sina Kylie and mga kasabayan nya kasi bata pa sila for the role.
Good decision, Marian. Siempre ang pinaka-importante ay ang health and safety mo at ng baby mo.
Sana i-shelve muna yung project hanggang sa makapanganak si Marian, kasi bagay na bagay sa kanya ang role. Pero kung tuloy ang drama at kukuha ng replacement ni Marian, sana si Jennelyn ang ipalit. Magaling na artista si Jen. She may not have the same mass appeal as Marian, pero magaling siya na artista kaya tiyak na magagampanan niya ng maige ang role.
Bukod kay Marian and Jen, wala nang ibang artista sa siete ang pwedeng pagkatiwalaan sa role.
I agree with her decision kasi mahihirapan sya sa pagod at puyat. Also, mahirap din para sa production team na nasa early stages ng pagbubuntis ang lead star nila. As it is, mahirap na ang trabaho ng mga production people, what more yung lagi nilang aalalayan ang lead star nila.
However, I do think na may iba pang actresses dyan na kakayanin ang role. Ang challenging role ay ang kay Glaiza since sya yung "tunay" na lesbian dun sa story. Sya yung magpu-pursue kay Marian. And I think kayang-kaya ni Glauza yun. Ang role ni Marian naman is conflicted lang. I don't see how people can say that only she can pull that off. Don't get me wrong ha. May mga artista rin ang GMA na magaling umarte, if only bigyan sila ng tamang oportunidad para ipakita yun. Not because the role was given to the primetime queen does it mean na sya lang talaga ang may kakayahang makapagportray nung role na ibinigay. Masyado naman nating minamaliit ang ibang artista just because wala sila sa lugar ni Marian. Nasa network din yan. Dapat marunog silang sumugal at magmarket sa mga artistang mahuhusay umarte at hindi nakabangko lang sa dami ng fans. Trabaho sila kung paano ibenta ang mga artista nila.
Ang daming series n ang ginawa ng GMA n iba-ibang leading ladies ang bida pero mahina tlg hatak sa viewers. I think they were all given equal opportunities kaso waley tlg. Marian kase has audience n kaya parang security blanket n sya sa primetime. Kesa palitan sya ng ibang leading ladies eh pumili nlng cla ng fresh face to do the role para bago nman. Actually, ako I want Marian to continue but if not I like Max Collins for the role I think she can justify it.

My bet for the role, Max Collins, Megan Young and Gwen Zamora. Wag n kela Carla, Rhian, Heart at Lovi bka tuluyan magsara GMA pag nalugi. Ibigay sa baguhan ng makahanap ng bagong Superstar ang GMA, hanggang ngayon si Marian prn, tama lng n mag leave sya for her baby.
I think Megan Young can be a good fit for the role. She has that "unpredictable look" that's just right for the role. I think she's the dark horse GMA is looking for. Magaling rin sa drama si Megan, she's done drama in ABS-CBN before and she did very well. This will be a good vehicle for her also to break the beauty queen stereotype role of being just a wall flower and be taken more seriously as an actor. My vote is for Megan Young. I hope GMA is reading this thread.

Unfortunately, other GMA leading ladies failed to duplicate her success despite of big projects and exposure. Isa pa, dito sa Pilipinas, mas tanggap ng mga manonood ang tema ng kabadingan mapa-TV o pelikula man, mas kinikikilig tayo pag dalawang gwapong paminta ang nagkaka-inlaban (as proven by the phenomenal success of MHL), pero pag dalawang tivoli (either parehong butch or parehong femme, o isang butch at isang femme) ang may love affair may diri factor sa masa ito. Kaya sa history ng Philippine movies wala pang pelikula na may tema ng pompyangan ang kumita o tinangkilik ng tao, maski yung T-bird at Ako ni Nora at Vilma noong araw di rin gaanong tinangkilik ng manonood. Kaya sana wag na lang ituloy ng GMA ang TRMD, sorry to say but may prejudice ang masang pinoy na siyang target ng teleserye sa mga panooring may tema ng pag-iibigan ng mga kyombird.

Si Andrea may show na gagawin sa Cambodia, papunta sila doon ni Mikael this April. Si Carla may on-going show, she's the new addition to the cast of Parikoy( kakalabas lang nya kanina). Which leaves us with Solenn, Iya, Rhian, Kris Bernal, Max Collins, Megan Young. Hindi naman pwede sina Kylie and mga kasabayan nya kasi bata pa sila for the role.

ReplyDeleteSana i-shelve muna yung project hanggang sa makapanganak si Marian, kasi bagay na bagay sa kanya ang role. Pero kung tuloy ang drama at kukuha ng replacement ni Marian, sana si Jennelyn ang ipalit. Magaling na artista si Jen. She may not have the same mass appeal as Marian, pero magaling siya na artista kaya tiyak na magagampanan niya ng maige ang role.
Bukod kay Marian and Jen, wala nang ibang artista sa siete ang pwedeng pagkatiwalaan sa role.
I agree with her decision kasi mahihirapan sya sa pagod at puyat. Also, mahirap din para sa production team na nasa early stages ng pagbubuntis ang lead star nila. As it is, mahirap na ang trabaho ng mga production people, what more yung lagi nilang aalalayan ang lead star nila.

ReplyDeleteHowever, I do think na may iba pang actresses dyan na kakayanin ang role. Ang challenging role ay ang kay Glaiza since sya yung "tunay" na lesbian dun sa story. Sya yung magpu-pursue kay Marian. And I think kayang-kaya ni Glauza yun. Ang role ni Marian naman is conflicted lang. I don't see how people can say that only she can pull that off. Don't get me wrong ha. May mga artista rin ang GMA na magaling umarte, if only bigyan sila ng tamang oportunidad para ipakita yun. Not because the role was given to the primetime queen does it mean na sya lang talaga ang may kakayahang makapagportray nung role na ibinigay. Masyado naman nating minamaliit ang ibang artista just because wala sila sa lugar ni Marian. Nasa network din yan. Dapat marunog silang sumugal at magmarket sa mga artistang mahuhusay umarte at hindi nakabangko lang sa dami ng fans. Trabaho sila kung paano ibenta ang mga artista nila.
Ang daming series n ang ginawa ng GMA n iba-ibang leading ladies ang bida pero mahina tlg hatak sa viewers. I think they were all given equal opportunities kaso waley tlg. Marian kase has audience n kaya parang security blanket n sya sa primetime. Kesa palitan sya ng ibang leading ladies eh pumili nlng cla ng fresh face to do the role para bago nman. Actually, ako I want Marian to continue but if not I like Max Collins for the role I think she can justify it.

It's the perfect time n sumugal ang GMA, like what happened to Tom ng mhl. Wag n mga starlets n leading ladies nla, Jen and Marian lng tlg ang may hatak sa viewers so pag binigay yan sa iba bka masayang lang, marami p nman nagaabang n sa series n yan, beauty n Marian kase nakakatibo kaya bagay n bagay, if not her si Max Collins ang may potential.

ReplyDeleteI think Megan Young can be a good fit for the role. She has that "unpredictable look" that's just right for the role. I think she's the dark horse GMA is looking for. Magaling rin sa drama si Megan, she's done drama in ABS-CBN before and she did very well. This will be a good vehicle for her also to break the beauty queen stereotype role of being just a wall flower and be taken more seriously as an actor. My vote is for Megan Young. I hope GMA is reading this thread.

Isa pa, dito sa Pilipinas, mas tanggap ng mga manonood ang tema ng kabadingan mapa-TV o pelikula man, mas kinikikilig tayo pag dalawang gwapong paminta ang nagkaka-inlaban (as proven by the phenomenal success of MHL), pero pag dalawang tivoli (either parehong butch or parehong femme, o isang butch at isang femme) ang may love affair may diri factor sa masa ito. Kaya sa history ng Philippine movies wala pang pelikula na may tema ng pompyangan ang kumita o tinangkilik ng tao, maski yung T-bird at Ako ni Nora at Vilma noong araw di rin gaanong tinangkilik ng manonood. Kaya sana wag na lang ituloy ng GMA ang TRMD, sorry to say but may prejudice ang masang pinoy na siyang target ng teleserye sa mga panooring may tema ng pag-iibigan ng mga kyombird.
