Funny thing about this "Festivals"... the name is New York Festivals but the awards night was held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Also, for winners of this "festivals", they have to buy from the organizers the Plaque if they want to have one. Eto yong mga klase ng festivalS na pinagkakakitaan ang mga "nanalo".
At least iyong pelikulang "Ekstra" legitimate winner with prestigious jurors and panel of judges at sa Capital City of the World pa na NEW YORK, unlike "Himala" na voting on-line, unlimited. So, pag may multiple accounts ka on-line pwedeng kang BUMOTO ng milyong beses kahit hindi mo napanood ang "Himala". Napaka irrelevant at hindi patas ang laban. Kahit Golden Sandok trophy pa na libre ang ibigay sa "Himala" wala rin dahil sa madayang on-line voting. To "Ekstra" and its cast headed by Miss. Vilma Santos, Congratulations po. More awards to come!!
The film is not trying to be artsy, it is so real and heartbreaking, specially the performance of the lead actress who made the film even better, thereby winning the best film!! Kudos to Miss. Vilma Santos and Direk Jeffrey Jeturian and also Atty. Joji who co-produced the film!!
