  4. I got your point despite the grammatical lapses. So GMA, wala bang karapatang magreklamo ang mga naagrabyado sa event nyo? Pag nagreklamo, babantaan nyo na abogado ang pahaharapin nyo? Just proves that you failed big time, and still failing big time in handling legitimate complaints. Duh!

    1. Ang galing nga ng complainant eh. In fairness to him. At nakabawi ka na kasi kahit papano may free exposure kna dito sa fp. Chaka naman ng gma exec prod. Sarap asarin ng mga ganyan para malaman nila gano nkakaasar incompetencr nila. Ano yon dahil anniversary nila may excuse? So nag celebrate sila at the expense of the exhibitors? Kalurky

  6. libel na naman? factual lang naman ang sinabi ng exhibitor? shunga tong si manicad na to. wag ka matakot sa banta nila. baka sila pa kasuhan mo sa pananakot nila sayo.

  7. They should just go to ABS-CBN and complain with Failon Ngayon. Then we'll all be spared the long ass, grammatically-challenged online message. For whatever it's worth, GMA always fail to market their events, that's a fact.

  9. As an event organizer gets ko point niya. Halatang hindi sanay humawak ng event. Dapat kumuha sila ng professional organizer kasi hindi naman nila forte ito.

  10. Aww... I don't pity the complainant, because of what he has gone through. I pity the network as it will definitely cause a negative impact to them. They should've hired competent people and a producer who knows how to handle such complaints. Nanakot pa si ateng, siguro di nya naisip that it might be taken against the network, not her personally.

  11. Although mali approach ni Manicad, ang point nya dapat kung may reklamo, I derecho sa kinauukulan. What will the complainant achieve by posting his complaint via social media? Kumbaga, these complaints can be settled through a peaceful and amicable settlement. Kaso, he went to a barrage of complaints and in a way, siniraan ung program. Truth is not the basis of libel. Kapag nakakasira ng reputation, libel kaagad yan. Tanong mo kahit kaninong lawyer what constitutes a libel.

    1. Eh di ba nakalagay na nag e-mail nga sya para sabihin yung mga complaints nya pero anong ginawa sa kanya, pinagbantaan pa sya at may pa-lawyer lawyer pa na sinasabi yang c Ms. Manicad...

    2. Yes she can sue u for libel. But truth is a defence in libel. So if u do get sued, chances are that u would be held blameless.

    3. Hi Reeya, I believe it was only the post that was screenshot. Initially, the post above was sent via email to the organizing team and copy furnished to all my fellow exhibitors. But instead of acknowledging my negative feedback, they did not even apologize. Marnie Manicad told me that this is "paninira" and threatened me that they will raise this issue to the management and "bahala na si Atty. Gozon".

      With this in mind, it is only then that I decided to go viral. Kasi what is the sense of sending them my concern na an kaya lang nilang gawin ay ibalik ang Php 23,000 ko, and that's it?? I tell you, it so happened that I was the first supplier to air out my concern but after I did, madami pang sumunod.

      So to answer your question:
      LIBEL is a published false statement that is damaging to a person's reputation; a written defamation.
      DEFAMATION is the action of damaging the good reputation of someone; slander or libel.
      SLANDER is the action or crime of making a false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.

      But none of my statement were false. All of which can be supported by evidences and witnesses.

      So yes, Marnie Manicad can sue me for libel. But truth is defence to libel. So if I do get sued, chances are, I will be held blameless. This is according to a lawyer.

  13. Wala ka namang magagawa teh kung 'di ka talaga magaling mag-makeup, lalangawin talaga booth mo. Isa ako sa couples na nandoon sa bridal fair, doon ako nag-book sa magaling, marami naman siyang na-book sa bridal fair na yun. So, that just explains it. Your complaints won't make you famous.

  14. Is this the first time that GMA TV 11 organized a bridal fair? Maybe the EP should consider that they had flaws and should look into the matter rather than threatening the complainant. Kung libre sana, walang reklamo, pero syempre may bayad ang fair eh.

  17. Pinagtiyagaan ko basahin, and so here's the summary:

    - Frequent exhibitor si kuya sa mga bridal fairs

    - Kulang sa marketing yung GMA fair. Walang billboards, posters, etc. Resulting to low numbers. Kung sa normal fair 2000+ ang pre-registered, dito 800 lang. Ang nagsign up sa kanya less than 10 couples. Normally sa ibang fair 25+.

    - Walang sumasagot sa mga emails nya to the organizers

    - Nakuha nya ng 23,000 pesos yung exhibit space, only to learn may iba nakakuha ng two exhibit spaces at 25,000 pesos. Ang daya ng pricing.

    - Gulo gulo yung organization ng event proper, obviously hindi sila sanay sa exhibits bilang TV show production ang forte nila

    - Nilangaw yung event kaya nagpack up na lang ng maaga ang exhibitors

    - After nya magpost nito, may tumawag from GMA - yung executive producer something something. Galit na galit yung executive at nagthreaten sya na "you will hear from our lawyer"

  18. Galing ng ibang mga nag comment dito. Napaka immature. Please read and understand before you post your comments. Palagay nyo ba papansinin ng FP yan kung alang kwenta? Think before you click. Better yet if nothing good to say. As my parents told me "manahimik ka na lang kung wala kang magandang masasabi. " I feel for you froilan. The way they've delt with your complaint was very unprofessional. This issue could've been settled amicably had they responded in a humble manner since this is their first time to organize this kind of event. Hope everything goes well.
