There's nothing wrong about being on the "chubby" side. Kahit si Jennifer Lawrence has said she's considered a plus size celeb bilang ang papayat mostly mga celebs dun. Doesn't make you less of a person if you're a plus size. And Carla is not even that big. You may bash her for her "attitide" siguro pero wag naman sana on her weight.
Pansin ko lang, sumosobra na yata tayong mga Pilipino sa pamumuna at pamimintas ng kapwa natin. Ano ba talaga ang kailangang gawin ng isang tao para maging perpekto sa paningin ng iba? O talagang kahit ano ang gawin, magkakaroon ng puna at pagkutya sa kapwa. Hindi na talaga tayo marunong mahiya, hindi na natin kayang tingnan muna ang mga sarili natin. Hindi ako isang tagahanga ni Carla at ng iba pang artista na medyo "chubby" or "overweight" pero minsan sobra na talaga. Totoong public figure sila pero dapat magkaroon ng hangganan yun tinatawag nating body shaming at cyber bullying. Kung mahal nyo man sa buhay o kayo mismo ang laiitin at pintasan, hindi ba kayo masasaktan? Magtataka pa ba tayo kung bakit may mga batang nagpapakamatay pag na-bully? Kasi tayong mga Pinoy, napakataas ng standard natin sa kapwa natin, pero wala para sa sarili. Tingin muna sa salamin paminsan-minsan.
You fatshaming people. And you guys wonder why so many women have self-esteem issues regarding their weight. You act as if being thin is the be-all of being a person. Do you have any idea the amount of damage it does to a girl whenever you call her fat? Well, I hope you sleep better at night for contributing to this negative culture.
I'm not even a fan of hers. I don't like her and her attitude but srsly, she's probably thinner than A LOT of normal girls. And if you guys condemn her for being slightly heavier than the usual TV stars, you're conditioning the minds of women that if you're chubby then you have no right to wear anything nice or anything that might show some skin (wear a sack and hide your body), you have no right to feel "pretty" and to love yourself, because you are ugly, unworthy and you deserve to be called all those nasty names because you're fat.
