I hope Rey Pamaran and Cebu Pacific continue to file lawsuits against her. As for the LGBT, I hope they send her and her daughter a stern warning for their bigotry.

There's nothing to admire about her. Even her posting of Bible verses and going to church... My goodness! The fruits of her action (and even her daughter's) say otherwise. Their deeds are for their own glorification. And this apology, it's for saving her the trouble of a legal action. I would have admired her character if she made the apology early on. This so-called act of humility is rather forced so that she could avoid the charges that would have been prepared by Pamaran's camp. IMHO, MM’s apology seems insincere and lacks the core element of remorse. When you wronged other person and later ask for forgiveness because you already are enlightened, it is incumbent upon you to clean the name of the aggrieved party. It is an obligation you owe to that person, more so if you claim you are a practicing Christian. One more thing, Cebu Pacific should pursue legal case against MM to set an example to all passengers. They should capitalize on the wide popularity of the incident to serve as stern warning to unruly passengers. Failure to do so might result to more people (passengers) not taking flight rules seriously and religiously. My two cents.
Agree and if I may add, although her apology is straightforward, if you analyze the quote of Martin Luther King that she used, she was implying that you have to forgive those who wronged you. Please din na she meant that she's just apologizing just to stop the negativity :-)

This apology is half a**ed and inadequate. If you're going to sincelrely apologize, you should do so by admitting fault WITHOUT qualifying statements like "no matter what the reason may be". That's like saying "Sorry, ikaw kasi e". She also needs to apologize for spewing outright lies on national tv and social media in a blatant attempt to malign the other party and make herself look like the victim. She needs to apologize for being so entitled that she felt there was nothing wrong with taking someone else's seat in a plane and asking him to sit elsewhere. And she should also apologize for inconveniencing over 100 people who were the passengers and staff of the airline, as well as apologize to women for making the fight for gender equality seem like a twisted belief that women should be allowed to do whatever they want without consequence because "men should respect women". She should apologize to the gay community for isinuating that they are generally disrespectful to women and that an (alllegedly) gay man cannot travel with other men without it being some kind of paid arrangement (a.k.a. "booking"), as if they cannot conduct themselves professionally like straight business people who always travel with colleagues. And lastly, she should apologize for being self righteous, using God to justify her actions and for thinking the public would be stupid enough to believe her lies. Bow!
Hello, hindi lang fuel. Parang nakisakay lang ang peg? She will be charged more for putting the safety of all pax at risk, flight delay, extra hours made by crew and airport staff, inconveniencing the other pax and a lot more.

ReplyDeleteThis apology is half a**ed and inadequate. If you're going to sincelrely apologize, you should do so by admitting fault WITHOUT qualifying statements like "no matter what the reason may be". That's like saying "Sorry, ikaw kasi e".
ReplyDeleteShe also needs to apologize for spewing outright lies on national tv and social media in a blatant attempt to malign the other party and make herself look like the victim. She needs to apologize for being so entitled that she felt there was nothing wrong with taking someone else's seat in a plane and asking him to sit elsewhere. And she should also apologize for inconveniencing over 100 people who were the passengers and staff of the airline, as well as apologize to women for making the fight for gender equality seem like a twisted belief that women should be allowed to do whatever they want without consequence because "men should respect women". She should apologize to the gay community for isinuating that they are generally disrespectful to women and that an (alllegedly) gay man cannot travel with other men without it being some kind of paid arrangement (a.k.a. "booking"), as if they cannot conduct themselves professionally like straight business people who always travel with colleagues. And lastly, she should apologize for being self righteous, using God to justify her actions and for thinking the public would be stupid enough to believe her lies. Bow!

ReplyDeleteHello, hindi lang fuel. Parang nakisakay lang ang peg? She will be charged more for putting the safety of all pax at risk, flight delay, extra hours made by crew and airport staff, inconveniencing the other pax and a lot more.

Nung biglang may possibility ng demanda for spreading lies and damaging someone's reputation, sabay apologize ka. Whether that's sincere or not, I hope you learned your big lesson in life.

She has caused INCONVENIENCE not only to Mr. Pamaran but all of the passengers and crew of Cebu Pacific Airlines.

Paawa siya kung gaano nasaktan ng issue ang family niya? Issue na siya naman ang may gawa. Inisip ba niya ang pain and trouble ng mga pasahero at flight crew na pinerwisyo niya?
