I think labas si Gobe sa isyung to since di naman sila ang gumawa ng iphone mo. I doubt pinajail break mo yan ate. wag ka na gumawa pa ng kwento. Kung may problema talaga dapat within 1 week after mmo nareceive ang iphone mo alam mo na na may problem. at bakit ngayon ka lang nagrereklamo. Ikaw and dapat kasuhan at siguraduhin mong mapapatunayan mo sa Apple na fake battery talaga ang nakalagay sa iphone mo. I was a Globe user before and I switched! I havent experienced this but their service seriously SUCKS! I'm glad I switched. Yuck Globe, maaawa naman kayo sa nga customers niyo na puro kunsume ang inaabot!
I actually experienced the same thing. After a year under my iPhone 5 Plan 1799, my speakers acted up & since its still under warranty, they replaced it with a "new" unit. Lo and behold, after 3 months, my friend who's a technician in Greenhills pointed out that my home button is not in place, which only means one thing-- nabuksan na daw ang unit ko! I was fuming mad when i found out that my supposedly "new unit" was just a refurbished one.

Te pangit talaga battery ng iPhone 4s kahit original pa yang battery mo. Gamit ko 4s for 3 years mas bumilis madrain ng battery in every iOS update lalo na gamit mo ios8. A fake batt means the phone is NOT BRAND NEW IN THE BOX AND SEALED when it was given to the customer. Di naman yung batt ang problema. She was paying for a BRAND NEW phone tapos REFURBISHED ang nakuha. BRAND NEW is not the same as REFURBISHED!

This may be off topic but I don't know what's wrong with Globe. Ilang beses ako nag load ng 25 para hindi mag expire ang sim ko (ginagamit ko lang pang back up). Usually hanggang 3 to 5 messages lang ang naipapadala ko and 0 balance na afterwards. TSK
me too. since january di ako nagloload ng globe don sa kong phone. naka-apat na pa-load ako in one day, so I spent P100. after 5 text ubos na ang P25 load. so nagload ulit ako. ganon na naman. kinain. naggoogle ako to find out the reason bakit kinakain ang load. sa thread na nabasa ko it was suggested to change a certain setting sa phone pero waley. the next day, load ulit. ubos ang P50 ko after less than 10 sent messages.
Do you use and send those emoji characters from an app? That will be sent as an MMS that's why nauubos ang load. Even sa States may mga ganiyang issue.

Hindi issue dito kung may pambili ng iPhone since may pambayad sa lawyer. Ang issue eh bakit fake ang battery? Ika wkaya masabugan nun? Pag refurbished ba sa Apple store, fake ang parts? At nag bring up ng lawyer si ate kasi limalabas na tinatakot sya ng Globe employee na nakausap nya.
Kung refurbished nalang ang binibigay na units ng globe for that model dapat idisclose sa customer. Pero siyempre ayaw nga ng customer yun. Kasi pag new plan you expect na new unit talaga kasama. Dun sya galit and I think may karapatan naman sya doon. Kung nasa fine print man yun ng contract, Globe led everyone to believe na brand new units ang binibigay sa new plans. Thats still quite decietful to me.

Worst talaga ang globe. For more than a year now, gusto ni globe bayaran ko ang billing ko na nakasulat na nag avail ako ng iphone 5s! wala naman akong nakuha. Pag humingi naman ako ng proof na nagsign ulit ako ng contract,or ids, wala naman silang mailabas. Sabi ko ayusin nila ang bill ko, tanggalin ang sinisingil na iphone, tsaka ko babayaran. More than 20 times na ata kaming pumupunta sa business centers at nagtatawagan ng mga globe agents. Ipinaliliwanag naman namin na gusto naman namin magbayad, wag lang kaming sisingilin ng hindi naman namin nakuha. More than a year ago na yun, until now, wala pa din nangyayari.

Nireport ko August 2014 pa sa Globe Store and they told me na ipprocess nila yun reversal sa next billing statement ko magrereflect na daw yun, feb 2015 na hindi pa rin nairereverse. Tapos pag tumatawag sa CS pagpapasa pasahan ka nila kesyo di raw sila ang naghahandle nun. Sa huli I went to the Globe Store again to follow up yun reversal. Ang sabi ba naman bat di ko raw tinawag sa CS nila to follow up. Seriously??!! Nasungitan ko yun Customer Rep nila sa inis ko! Ayun after 15mins nireverse na. Hassle yan Globe na yan!
You should immediately file a complaint against DTI kasi ngayon mayroon na tayong credit scoring at kasama ang utilities sa nagsusubmit ng delinquent accounts sa credit bureaus (FICO, CIC, Transunion). Masisira ang credit history niyo at mahihirapan kayong makaloan sa banko dahil sa unpaid utilities. Dapat kapag hindi inaksyonan ng globe ang first complaint, formal complaint na dapat sa DTI at NTC at assurance na hindi kayo nireport sa credit bureaus as delinquent.

Super easy to change iPhones here sa states. We don't have to go to our providers, direct land sa Apple. like one time, actually nabasa ko yung phone & of course I lied about it but still, they gave me a new unit. I was always wondering what they do sa mga phones that get returned or replaced. I guess they refurbish it and supply it sa mga developing countries.
18 years na ako sa Globe. I do have a Smart line, pero more on back up for out of town areas. Mabait naman ang Globe sa akin, so no complaints. Never pa nga lang ako naka receive ng free phone coz my subscription plan predates the contract era and I refuse to change numbers so no new line for me. That's my only beef with them.

Though the fake battery was no excuse... Madali talaga ma drain ang battery nang iPhone especially yung bagong IOS nila. Kahit na hindi mo ginagamit made drain at made drain talaga.. Para medyo humaba ang battery life nang ibibigay nilang bagong iPhone sayo.. go to settings "App background refresh" then turn it off. :D

I myself had a very bad experience from globe services. I applied for iphone5 and i gave 17k advance payment. Kasama na ang cash out. Then after ilang buwan aba! Pinutulan ako ng line dahil overdue na daw ako ng 10k pesos at unless na bayaran ko iyon, hindi nila i rereconnect ang line ko. Eh pano nangyaring na overdue ako eh unlimited text, call at internet ako. At ang madalas ko lang naman na text message is imessage which is free pag may wifi. Bukod sa hindi worth it ang binbayad ng mga tao dahil sa super bagal na net, napaka magnanakaw pa niyang globe na yan!!

Just so you know @9:02, The plan 999 with free phones includes the worth of the mobile (which in this case is an 8 gb iphone4s) + consumable usage. Ngayon, kung gusto mo mag 16Gb or 32Gb that is when you need to top up or cash out.
Was a globe subscriber for 15 years then switched to smart in 2013. Never regretted it ;) Sobrang okay pa CSR nila. My line was once cut and when I called the CSR said she will request for the reconnection na and just asked for my assurance na I will pay within the day. My line was reconnected even before I paid. Galing ng service nila! Hehe.
Globe's quality assurance is very much in question here now. Add to that the really horrible training of their frontliners, whether on the phone are face-to-face in their stores.
I am one hundred percent sure, in a few days, this thread will be gone as Globe is very good in blocking truth campaigns that expose their weakness. I have heard a lot of stories about this strategy of theirs.
My question is, they have exerted so much effort in media blocking of big issues against them. Have they also utilized equal efforts to improve their quality and service? Dito lang ako nakakita na naka 4g signal pero dinadasalan ko ng 3 minuto ang mobile internet ko para lang matuloy ang pag log-in ko sa facebook dahil sa sobrang bagal.....
I have been a Globe postpaid subscriber for years, and I can honestly say na bawat bill kakabahan ka kasi di mo alam kung anong magic nanaman ginawa nila. When i first got my unit from them, aba di pa naka activate yung sim ko, I was charged with data agad. As usual, sa una lang sila mabait.
I sincerely hope this girl wins. Globe needs to be honest and more transparent with their customers. They wouldn't be there if not for their patronizing customers anyway. If ininform nyo naman yung customers na refurbished na yung inooffer nyo, edi at least the customer is AWARE and not made to believe that what she will be receiving from you is a brand new phone. And please improve the way your CSR's communicate with Your subscribers.
P.S. if you're interested in applying for a Globe postpaid plan, they have this option to permanently turn your data off. Globe's known for charging people with data even though it's turned off. in fairness, ever since I had them do this, 180 pesos lang bill ko every month for Unli Call and Text :)

In my opinion lang naman, what globe should do is just issue certificate or authenticated letter to their subscribers who want to get an iphone. Then the subscriber will show the certificate/letter to mac centers to claim their phone. Then we can be sure the iphones are brand new and not tampered.
I've been with Globe for almost 10 years now and their services really suck,big time! Buti na lang eh libre yung aking line kasi kung personal kong line eto eh di ko talaga pagtya-tyagaan ang kanilang bulok na services. Eto ang nakakainis kapag dalawang telco lang ang naglalaban laban. Sana eh magkaroon pa ng ibang players sa market para tayong mga consumers ang magbe-benifit.
Buti ka pa girl may lawyer! I-push mo pa yan at least mapansin naman ng Globe management kung gano ka low quality ng customer service nila. Siguro dapat i-train ulit pati managers ng bawat branch. Dapat sana hindi na lumaki yan. Sa branch pa lang na kinuhaan mo naayos na yan. PAg ikaw nagrerklamo sa isang bagay kahit pa sa main branch or wherever and lawyers ng Globe, dapat tinangap nila yung reklamo tapos finorward dun kung san man office yun tapos ang sinabi sa client na dun na lang mag-follow up kasi dun naman inaayos yung ganyan na problems. Para hindi lalo nagagalit ang customer.
I also have had bad experiences with globe. I applied for the plan 999 with the lenovo bundle. I was happy because instead of buying a new tablet, I already had one plus a new phone from Globe. But when I got the package, phone's front cam button was not working! I called globe and asked for assistance then thay told me to bring it to the nearest globe store. So I followed them and brought it there. To my surprise, they told me that I should bring it to the lenovo service center and have it checked! Eh diba since they saw the phone na and its not working well, they should have replaced it with a new one instead?! In the end, they just gave me a certificate from Globe for free service. I didnt argue with them anymore. Additional stress lang sila. Besides, hindi na dapat sila sinasama sa problems kasi dapat nga walang pinoproblema ang customers sa kanila eh....
One more thing, their customer service has no coordination when it comes to keeping track of conversations and records. For how many months, i was always pissed everytime I read my bill. There are additional charges which I dont know about.

Di ba nakasealed yung phone bago ibigay sau .. So ibigsabihin bago talaga un .. Ikaw talaga may kasalanan jan .. Pinabukas muna siguro yan bago mo dinala sa globe.
Fact- the item is defective. 1.) Customer should raise this to the retailer, in this case the globe store. 2.) discuss a resolution–repair/replace/refund the item. 3.) if globe refuses to do some action, then go to DTI to file a formal complaint.
In this case, Globe is gathering info and investigating the case, to see where the problem originated. Globe doesnt control the QA of Apple. Thats why there’s a warranty / guarantee so that defects that are beyond the retailer’s control can be addressed well.
This Trisha is clearly using the issue to become an online sensation. OA masyado, kahit i-raise mo sa lawyer, sa DTI din ang bagsak. With or without the media, DTI will hear both sides of the story and address the complaint.
Had same issue now. My Iphone6 of 4 months started to charge intermittently. Dinala ko sya sa globe for assessment. Globe referred me to Apple Service Center as part of their warranty. The Apple tech told me that my phone is "somehow tampered" because the black tape is already missing (and the battery is already damaged). Still waiting for further investigation although I reported the incident to Globe na. Hopefully this week mag labas na ng result yung Apple Service Center.

ReplyDeleteI actually experienced the same thing. After a year under my iPhone 5 Plan 1799, my speakers acted up & since its still under warranty, they replaced it with a "new" unit. Lo and behold, after 3 months, my friend who's a technician in Greenhills pointed out that my home button is not in place, which only means one thing-- nabuksan na daw ang unit ko! I was fuming mad when i found out that my supposedly "new unit" was just a refurbished one.

ReplyDeleteTe pangit talaga battery ng iPhone 4s kahit original pa yang battery mo. Gamit ko 4s for 3 years mas bumilis madrain ng battery in every iOS update lalo na gamit mo ios8. Naka fully charge siya sa umaga pagdating ng lunch or 2pm pa ubos na. Ang ending bumili ako ng bagong phone and I'm so much happier with the battery life of my new phone.

DeleteThis may be off topic but I don't know what's wrong with Globe. Ilang beses ako nag load ng 25 para hindi mag expire ang sim ko (ginagamit ko lang pang back up). Usually hanggang 3 to 5 messages lang ang naipapadala ko and 0 balance na afterwards. TSK
ReplyDeleteme too. since january di ako nagloload ng globe don sa kong phone. naka-apat na pa-load ako in one day, so I spent P100. after 5 text ubos na ang P25 load. so nagload ulit ako. ganon na naman. kinain. naggoogle ako to find out the reason bakit kinakain ang load. sa thread na nabasa ko it was suggested to change a certain setting sa phone pero waley. the next day, load ulit. ubos ang P50 ko after less than 10 sent messages.

Pag humingi naman ako ng proof na nagsign ulit ako ng contract,or ids, wala naman silang mailabas. Sabi ko ayusin nila ang bill ko, tanggalin ang sinisingil na iphone, tsaka ko babayaran. Tumawag pa kami sa lawyer nila kasi pinapadalhan kami ng letter. Ang gusto ng lawyer e bayaran daw namin muna lahat tsaka sila gagawa ng adjustments. Hello? Sana naman matutong makinig ang globe sa mga customers nya.
Problem talaga yan sa system ng globe eh. Minsan nacharge ako halos 9k sinigawan ko csr ang sabi sa akin maaadjust yun after the billing period pag nagreflect na sa billing. Kelangan talaga nagrereflect muna yung maling billing. Hmmm. But in your case nasa bill na so i dont see why they cant reverse the charge.

Nireport ko August 2014 pa sa Globe Store and they told me na ipprocess nila yun reversal sa next billing statement ko magrereflect na daw yun, feb 2015 na hindi pa rin nairereverse. Tapos pag tumatawag sa CS pagpapasa pasahan ka nila kesyo di raw sila ang naghahandle nun. Sa huli I went to the Globe Store again to follow up yun reversal. Ang sabi ba naman bat di ko raw tinawag sa CS nila to follow up. Seriously??!! Nasungitan ko yun Customer Rep nila sa inis ko! Ayun after 15mins nireverse na. Hassle yan Globe na yan!
DeleteYou should immediately file a complaint against DTI kasi ngayon mayroon na tayong credit scoring at kasama ang utilities sa nagsusubmit ng delinquent accounts sa credit bureaus (FICO, CIC, Transunion). Masisira ang credit history niyo at mahihirapan kayong makaloan sa banko dahil sa unpaid utilities. Dapat kapag hindi inaksyonan ng globe ang first complaint, formal complaint na dapat sa DTI at NTC at assurance na hindi kayo nireport sa credit bureaus as delinquent.

Delete18 years na ako sa Globe. I do have a Smart line, pero more on back up for out of town areas. Mabait naman ang Globe sa akin, so no complaints. Never pa nga lang ako naka receive ng free phone coz my subscription plan predates the contract era and I refuse to change numbers so no new line for me. That's my only beef with them.

Para medyo humaba ang battery life nang ibibigay nilang bagong iPhone sayo.. go to settings "App background refresh" then turn it off. :D

ReplyDeleteI myself had a very bad experience from globe services. I applied for iphone5 and i gave 17k advance payment. Kasama na ang cash out. Then after ilang buwan aba! Pinutulan ako ng line dahil overdue na daw ako ng 10k pesos at unless na bayaran ko iyon, hindi nila i rereconnect ang line ko. Eh pano nangyaring na overdue ako eh unlimited text, call at internet ako. At ang madalas ko lang naman na text message is imessage which is free pag may wifi. Bukod sa hindi worth it ang binbayad ng mga tao dahil sa super bagal na net, napaka magnanakaw pa niyang globe na yan!!

DeleteJust so you know @9:02, The plan 999 with free phones includes the worth of the mobile (which in this case is an 8 gb iphone4s) + consumable usage. Ngayon, kung gusto mo mag 16Gb or 32Gb that is when you need to top up or cash out.

ReplyDeleteWas a globe subscriber for 15 years then switched to smart in 2013. Never regretted it ;) Sobrang okay pa CSR nila. My line was once cut and when I called the CSR said she will request for the reconnection na and just asked for my assurance na I will pay within the day. My line was reconnected even before I paid. Galing ng service nila! Hehe.

My question is, they have exerted so much effort in media blocking of big issues against them. Have they also utilized equal efforts to improve their quality and service? Dito lang ako nakakita na naka 4g signal pero dinadasalan ko ng 3 minuto ang mobile internet ko para lang matuloy ang pag log-in ko sa facebook dahil sa sobrang bagal.....
I have been a Globe postpaid subscriber for years, and I can honestly say na bawat bill kakabahan ka kasi di mo alam kung anong magic nanaman ginawa nila. When i first got my unit from them, aba di pa naka activate yung sim ko, I was charged with data agad. As usual, sa una lang sila mabait.
ReplyDeleteI sincerely hope this girl wins. Globe needs to be honest and more transparent with their customers. They wouldn't be there if not for their patronizing customers anyway. If ininform nyo naman yung customers na refurbished na yung inooffer nyo, edi at least the customer is AWARE and not made to believe that what she will be receiving from you is a brand new phone. And please improve the way your CSR's communicate with Your subscribers.
P.S. if you're interested in applying for a Globe postpaid plan, they have this option to permanently turn your data off. Globe's known for charging people with data even though it's turned off. in fairness, ever since I had them do this, 180 pesos lang bill ko every month for Unli Call and Text :)

DeleteIn my opinion lang naman, what globe should do is just issue certificate or authenticated letter to their subscribers who want to get an iphone. Then the subscriber will show the certificate/letter to mac centers to claim their phone. Then we can be sure the iphones are brand new and not tampered.

ReplyDeleteI've been with Globe for almost 10 years now and their services really suck,big time! Buti na lang eh libre yung aking line kasi kung personal kong line eto eh di ko talaga pagtya-tyagaan ang kanilang bulok na services. Eto ang nakakainis kapag dalawang telco lang ang naglalaban laban. Sana eh magkaroon pa ng ibang players sa market para tayong mga consumers ang magbe-benifit.
ReplyDeleteButi ka pa girl may lawyer! I-push mo pa yan at least mapansin naman ng Globe management kung gano ka low quality ng customer service nila. Siguro dapat i-train ulit pati managers ng bawat branch. Dapat sana hindi na lumaki yan. Sa branch pa lang na kinuhaan mo naayos na yan. PAg ikaw nagrerklamo sa isang bagay kahit pa sa main branch or wherever and lawyers ng Globe, dapat tinangap nila yung reklamo tapos finorward dun kung san man office yun tapos ang sinabi sa client na dun na lang mag-follow up kasi dun naman inaayos yung ganyan na problems. Para hindi lalo nagagalit ang customer.
ReplyDeleteI also have had bad experiences with globe. I applied for the plan 999 with the lenovo bundle. I was happy because instead of buying a new tablet, I already had one plus a new phone from Globe. But when I got the package, phone's front cam button was not working! I called globe and asked for assistance then thay told me to bring it to the nearest globe store. So I followed them and brought it there. To my surprise, they told me that I should bring it to the lenovo service center and have it checked! Eh diba since they saw the phone na and its not working well, they should have replaced it with a new one instead?! In the end, they just gave me a certificate from Globe for free service. I didnt argue with them anymore. Additional stress lang sila. Besides, hindi na dapat sila sinasama sa problems kasi dapat nga walang pinoproblema ang customers sa kanila eh....
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, their customer service has no coordination when it comes to keeping track of conversations and records. For how many months, i was always pissed everytime I read my bill. There are additional charges which I dont know about.

ReplyDelete1.) Customer should raise this to the retailer, in this case the globe store.
2.) discuss a resolution–repair/replace/refund the item.
3.) if globe refuses to do some action, then go to DTI to file a formal complaint.
In this case, Globe is gathering info and investigating the case, to see where the problem originated. Globe doesnt control the QA of Apple. Thats why there’s a warranty / guarantee so that defects that are beyond the retailer’s control can be addressed well.
This Trisha is clearly using the issue to become an online sensation. OA masyado, kahit i-raise mo sa lawyer, sa DTI din ang bagsak. With or without the media, DTI will hear both sides of the story and address the complaint.

ReplyDeleteHad same issue now. My Iphone6 of 4 months started to charge intermittently. Dinala ko sya sa globe for assessment. Globe referred me to Apple Service Center as part of their warranty. The Apple tech told me that my phone is "somehow tampered" because the black tape is already missing (and the battery is already damaged). Still waiting for further investigation although I reported the incident to Globe na. Hopefully this week mag labas na ng result yung Apple Service Center.
