    2. Anon 12:54 have you tried complaining to Cebu Pacific? Falls on deaf ears.

    6. 2.12 and 12.45 easy lang solution dyan, if you're not happy with their service then don't use Cebu Pac again (pero sa palagay ko sakay pa rin kayo ulit dahil cheap sila.) You get what you pay for people.

    7. Thankfully a lot of budget airlines are now as cheap or even cheaper than Cebu Pacific, so you really don't have to put up with poor customer service anymore. If enough irate customers take their business elsewhere, maybe CP will take the hint.

i dont really get the point of the girl. So if immigration told that cebupac employee that the e-visas were invalid, why was she mad at him?

So this was settled right? Hay. That's 5 mins of trying to understand the story that il never get back.

    3. No, cheap fare should NOT mean bad service. Fares are cheap because customers don't get the perks that are present in non-budget airlines. But good service should be provided to ANY customer, regardless of price.

  5. I live in Dubai and for all I know Philippine immigration do not allow Dubai e-visa. They always ask for the original visa even for tourist visas. Buti pinadaan sila sa immigration. Cheap airfare equates to cheap service. Want better service? Fly with other airlines.... Take Cathay Pacific, di ganun kamahal, 40kg baggage allowance pa :-)

  6. Oh Cebu Pac, you'll never achieve PAL's standards kahit na always delayed ang flights nila. This air company always has an issue with their customers kaya parating bagsak presyo ang flights. The funny thing is that the person who thought was sure of the fake e-visas disappeared. If I was one of the customers that day, i would demand to speak and to humiliate that Usudan for causing inconvenience.

  7. Bakit nga ba pala wala yun passport number sa evisa nila in the first place? may mali din yun agency na nagbigay sa kanila ng evisa nila with incomplete details. kung nung umpisa pa lang eh kumpleto na ang detalye sa evisa eh di sana di na humantong sa ganon.

      Delete
    4. Alam mo Anon 1:28AM, napaka importante ng tanong mo. Ang trabaho ng airline staff is to check in their passengers, it is the Immigration Officers duty to check their visas. This is not the first that kind of incident happened. Meron akong friend na papuntang Hong Kong, me mga kasabayan syang OFW papuntang Hong Kong din who came from the North as far as Baguio, sa Clark airport yan ha. Sa HK ang Immigration rule, after 2 years contract you have to leave, pag nag recontract, yung visa upon arrival sa HK ilalagay sa passport by the HK Immigration Officers. The OFW's showed their contracts signed and authenticated by the Consulate in Hong Kong and explained the HK Immigration system. Ayaw silang paniwalaan. Then my friend even heard the Immigration Officers in Clark saying "wala daw mga visa" ni hindi man lang tinanong yung mga kawawang OFW.

  12. Tama si Anon 12:32, they do not allow e-Visas, kailangan ang original visa itself. May airport officer p na mgchechek ng visa (kasi most details are in Arabic) then my stamp at signature niya na good to go before mgpila for check in. based on the story, prang hindi na sila dumaan sa officer kasi bakit mgsasabi ang taga CebPac na fake ang visa. I am not sure if the process changed, bat last time I travelled Dec 2014, my officer p din na ngchechek ng visa.

  14. I think they went first to CebPac before Immigration. Immigration will tell them if visas are fake or not, not the job of CebuPac. Anyways, if that guy was rude, best you complain to CebuPac. I am pretty sure he is not an employee of the airline, but that of a subcontractor. In the airline business, hindi lahat na staff dyan ay empleyado ng airline, may emplayado ng groundhandling company. If you complain, the airline will forward your complain to the groundhandling company, and the latter will surely deal with it coz it will protect its business with the airline.

Dati po pag sinabi e-visa, scanned copy of the original that‘s why you need to collect the original from the visa counter prior to immigration check. Now the applications are done online and e-visa is released and downloadable online, hence, the so called e-visa now can be printed in colour/good quality as an original. If the applicant has no access to email, the employer/agency/sponsor can print it and submit it to the visa counter just like before so the employee/tourist can collect on arrival.

  29. Next time hingin at dalhin lahat ng papeles (whether original or print out man yan) just to make sure kaysa dumaan sa ganitong kahihiyan. According to my friend who works as an Immigration Officer, 90% of the time late ang information na nacacascade sa kanila regarding new rules and regulations or kahit simple list lang ng may HDO (kaya nga laging may nakakalabas na kriminal sa bansa kahit na may hold departure order diba). Nabanggit naman nung nagpost na yung immigration officer mismo ang nagsabi na "negative" silang magfly diba then nacounter lang ng official ng cebu pac after 4 hours. For me, hindi ito kasalanan nung airline since they get direct info sa government din natin (immigration). But with regards to the rudeness of the Norm guy, it was inacceptable, pwede namang igilid muna sila and kinausap sila ng mahinahon at dinala sa kung saan man maveverify yung tamang info. Kaloka si Kuya, maybe wala masyadong training in Cust Service?

  31. Puro naman get a lawyer. As if dami pera lagi panggastos. File a complaint letter na lang to the company where this guy works so the company knows how he treats pax. Tutal, nakasakay naman at a yung mga pax later on after all the hassle eh. Money and time consuming then.

    ReplyDelete
  32. nagegets ko ang pag-rant online especially if panget ang nakukuha natin na service. but like any other company, that guy was just doing his job. ang daming nabibigyan ng fake visa lalo na sa mga ofw's natin. mahigpit pa man din sa dubai, maganda nang sigurado na tama yung mga documents na dala kesa pagdating dun tsaka pa sila nagkaproblema.

    ReplyDelete
  33. kng gnun ang scenario as this person is claiming. Mali ang cebu pac na cnabi agad sa pasahero na the visa is fake. D naman masama mgduda e. Kasi nga pg napabalik ung pax frm dubai due to documentation may penalty ang airline. The staff should have referred it to immig duty supervisor for authentication kc tama kayo guys cla lng tlga ang makakapgsabi kng authentic or fake ang travel docs dahl mas trained cla dun unlike the airlines wen it comes to authenticity of docs pwde cla mg-assume pero irerefer yan. Pg d tatanggapn ng immig then may right cla to refuse pax for check in. kng cnab na c airline ang may discretion then the airline has to find means whether to accept pax for check in or not.
