    1. with that british accent too, cool. She's beautiful pala but her tattoo is annoying.

    2. She is a very good singer and if you remove all that gunk and put simple make-up on, she becomes intensely more beautiful, alluring and reachable.

    4. OO kaya, she sang with Sting, with Tony Bennett, with Prince, Elton John, Madonna, Cher, Courtney Love, Queen Bey, I mean come on, you should consider that she's doing, theater, pop, jazz, broadway, rock. Like seriously, no other popstar did what she does. Like I don't think no one her batch can top that.

    5. Anon 5:37, truly!!!!! Sya lang ata ang nakakagawa niyan among her contemporaries, yung from legends to popstars, nagaadmire sa kanya!!!

    6. All genre?

    1. This comment made me chuckle as I suddenly pictured the Von Trapp children rushing out from under her gown.

    2. And they'd be singing "Doe, a deer, a female deer!"

  4. Wow! I knew Lady Gaga can sing, pero hindi ko inaakala na she can be this good. I got teary eyed when Julie Andrews walked to the stage.

  12. I was wowed by Lady Gaga's performance! She just showed us that she can be versatile. From jazz with Tony Bennett, to this. Now it can be said, she is not just a Madonna copycat.

  13. Its just too bad that Julie Andrews can no longer sing these timeless classics. It must be really dreadful to have lost her wonderful singing voice. But Lady Gaga gave a wonderful and fitting rendition!

  14. Not a fan.. But i have to admit that she did really good hear. If not Christina Aguilera have to do this number, who else but Lady Gaga should do this.

    ReplyDelete
  16. classical music ang background nya from what i read before

    ReplyDelete
  17. Infurrr, she unexpectedly nailed it!!! Aminin, expected nyo she would come out in a supernatural outfit and sing like a shaman...

  29. She's way more talented than madonna, vocally and artistically! I think Madonna is just overrated in my opinion.

    1. The thing is, Madonna's music is very approachable. I cannot say the same for her.

    2. Yes Madonna is overrated

      Delete
    3. Yes i agree. More talented than Madonna. But will never be more successful or more popular than Madge. Just like everyone else before her.

  36. Bravo! Other than Lady Gaga, the other singer I can think of who can do justice to the song is Jackie Evancho

  41. It's so nice to see that the WORLDWIDE WEB is actually united in this performance. Like I haven't heard anything negative.

Congrats Gaga! You made us all united

    1. well, Shonda Rhimes said something negative... something about Idina Menzel (voice of Elsa, Frozen) was just right there and it should have been her (Idina)..

as for me, I'm a huge fan of both Idina & Lady Gaga though, either one will do

      Delete
    2. Nahhh! Lady gaga is wayy better than Idina. I don't like Idina's voice.

      Delete
    3. Eeewww! Idina menzel is so banong kumanta like sintunada ever lol

      Delete
    4. Idina is just an old Lea Michele. But what Anon 11:30 means is the generally, all you can see is everyone is really in awe with her Sound of Music tribute, like no one else did it better, not even Ms. Carrie Underwood, so give mo na girl sa kanya.

  42. As a fan, im not shocked, magaling talaga sya ever since try to listen to some of her mellow songs, and yeah... I was kinda waiting for that POKERFACE intro to play then huhubarin nya yung gown nya bigla for a more shocking outift! Haha
    Love her!

    ReplyDelete
  43. In fairness kay Lady Gaga versatile siya. She did good in that performance. And since napunta siya sa Versace... tame na siya, ok lang kahit para na siyang batang Donatella Versace...

    ReplyDelete
  44. her voice! nasanay kang kasi ears natin sa pop music nya but she is really a performer.

  45. LADY GAGA SLAYS HARD!

    ReplyDelete
  46. I love her performance!! Perfect way to shift genre!! Bravo.

  47. Outstanding performance. I can't believe she can songs like this. Kasi mostly pop ang knkanta nya. Tpos lage pa cia nalilink sa illuminati. I think she should do theater na..

    ReplyDelete
  48. after all the ra ra ra ah ah, she then drops this bomb. god! im so amazed with her voice in this performance. she's really a singer, performer, composer, and very unique in her own fab ways.

  49. ang galing,bravo bravo bravo

    ReplyDelete
  50. She actually sings better than most artists. Check her duets with Tony Bennett. Marami pa like mga unplugged versions ng "Mary the Night", "Do What You Want", "You and I", etc. Hay forever a Little Monster.

  51. Nakangiti ako the whole time na pinapanood ko ang saya sa pakiramdam

    1. Cant compare. Ang dami nang mas magagaling kumanta na kasabayan ni Madonna since the 80s ang di na nakikita sa.tv or naririnig sa radyo while Madonna is still here.

Lady Gaga is a powerhouse no doubt. Wishing her more years in the business with her talent.

  53. She has always been this good. Her voice is amazing even on live performances. I'm just so proud of her and I've been a fan since her The Fame era. Now I'm excited for her upcoming album!

    ReplyDelete
  55. I've never questioned lady Gaga's talent because she's definitely got talent and doesn't need the aid of autotune.

WTH daw yung "Sound of Music?" Seriously? Even my young kids know what it is and know the songs by heart, having watched it several times. Madami sa generation ngayon, do not appreciate old films, especially yung mga musicals na nauso noong 60s.
