Excuse me for butting in but...there is something wrong with the grammar and it has nothing to do with vocabulary. The error is in the use of did + base form of the verb.
The first sentence is correct."What DID they TELL you...?" The third sentence is wrong. "DID your management TOLD you..." It should be: "DID your management TELL you...?"
