Are people really comparing a university educated couple to a bunch of inbred hooligans. They may think they're "winning" but in a couple of years time, Nikki isn't the one who's gonna have a black eye and hundreds of "baby daddies".
She's 27, he's probably in his 30s, they're just acting their age. I'd take that over someone in his 30s but acts like a lost and confused boy in his teens.
