Dear, Unfortunately, matagal na yan. Hindi nagiisa ang bar na yan if you go out frequently. It's there, it's their bar, their rules, if you don't like it, there are bars that are open to all.... I too feel offended by that, but you can only do so much... unless you go ahead and file a case in court and ask them to punish the private business. Until someone gets prosecuted, this will continue.
Haler!!! LGBT!, Kung si juday nga me ideal behavior ng sa tingin niya ng isang leader kahit na kakilala niya pak kapatid nito eh nagstatement pa din siya, how much more ang isang private run establishment?!!! Surprise! Me limit ang freedom and equality chenez na pinaniniwalaan niyo!
Kung ako sila gagawa ako ng sariling club na me rules na no entry to those who are not in crossdress.
This is not even about gender equality. It is about respecting simple rules. These people are not pushing for equality here, but special treatment. Most upscale clubs have very strict dress codes. At Valkryrie, even women will not be allowed to enter if they are wearing flats. So it's not about gender. Rules are rules, and these are private entities that have a specific target market. We need to be open minded and stop playing the discrimination card. First timers?
Yup…we are defined by what we wear. It somehow say something abt our personality or what we do. Doctors cant come to hospital wearing a firemans suit. Just like wearing a jeans and shirt in a formal attire gathering, with the exception if you're a king.
Have to disagree here. You do not force women to wear men's clothes and vice versa because it's your "rule". Rules need to make sense and not be DISCRIMINATORY. Thus, you do not force an LGBT to wear something that is inappropriate to their gender identity.
why do i findyour statement discriminating as well? e ano naman kung first timer? so ikaw alam na alam mo kasi lagi ka pumupunta sa mga places na ganyan? maybe you have been drinking too much of their poison to believe that this is not N issue of discrimination. not wearing flats bawal? bakeeeet? well, come to thinkof it,mga hibang nalugarnaganito, target ang mga customer na hibang katulad mo. you deserve each other dahling! mwahahahaha (tawa ng froglitang social climber)
8:55 nobody's forcing anyone! Ano ba?! Napaka-simple lang. If you want to go inside, just follow their rules. Kung ayaw mo, they wont force you. it's their place so it's their rules. Juice ko mahirap ba intindihin yon?
But they want their life to be significant by being inside a premiere upscale newest talk of the town club… wanyed to feel the entitlement of being a VIP… and they want it their way or the highway. Guess they ended up in the gutter. Highlarious!!!
Have a heart! Stop speaking in behalf of your rubbish management. Try partying in New York! Anyway, happy birthday to the girl! Have a blast dearie!! :)
Respect policies and rules of public places before reacting. If you prefer to cross dress, its your own decision. If they prefer not letting crossdressers inside, its their decision din. its not LGBT all the time.
If you wanna be accepted I accept nyo nga muna na may mga issues na ganyan talaga. Andami dyang bars na we are all welcome with hands wide open... Andami ng nagsarang bars pero ang mga bars for the beks open pa rin.. Yun ang suportahan nyo... Wag yung, ega outfit kayo tapos pag di kayo pinapasok human rights violation na agad..... Wala tayo sa US or sa Amsterdarm or sa any country na okay na yung magbuhis ka ng pambabae que hindi bagay sayo or bagay ... Wake up!!!! Wag nyo yan puntahan... I chismis nyo...
I'll wear dirty shorts, dirty tank tops, at saka bare footed at pupunta ako sa Makati Shangrila to eat sa kanilang buffet. Do you think papapasukin ako? Can I sue them for refusing me?
Dear, it's their club, it's their rules! If you want to be respected, respect their rules as well. Di ka naman nila pinipilit to go into their club so instead of whining, you better look for other places where they will let you in. This is not an issue of gender equality, this is simply following rules. I support LGBT pero sana lumugar po tayo and this is directed to all, straights or LGBT - let's follow rules.
Research muna bago magpartey partey. Some club tlaga di allowed ang crossdresser, its their rule. If you dont like it then go to other club madami sa malate
I think she was not allowed entry, not because she's a cross-dresser, but because what she was wearing isn't suitable for a prom. It looks more casual to me than formal. You don't wear a black tank top and maxi skirt in a prom unless di formal yung theme ng party nyo.
I don't understand why LGBT always makes a fuss out of every single situation. Always 'feeling api' and 'entitled to everything' just because. Follow the rules then you won't have to feel the need to rant to social media all the time.
i am seriously bothered by the comments here. i amnot fromthelgbt community but i findtheaction of these kind of establishments discriminating! Valk doesnt accept people wearing flats? so nakahigh heels dapat pati lalaki. so stupid our society to accept these biased rules!
9:17am para ka namang sinto.sinto! bother ka dyan! its just simply following rules nabobother ka dyan! kung ayaw nyong masita then follow the rules, ganyan lang yan kasimple. maghanap kayo ng ibang lugar na ok magcross dress tapos!!!
i myself am a crossdresser. i dont feel that this should be an issue. we play the gender discrimination card too often that more important issues are overshadowed. there are many clubs out there you can take your pick. if you want to be respected, respect also other people's right. dont make a mountain out of a molehill.
Yesh! Sa Universe gastrolounge and nightclub. Hahhahaha
Sa lahat ng LGBT, magtayo na lang kayo ng sarili nyong bar and make your own rules, strictly for LGBT lang, that way, kahit magtutuwad kayo dun or wala kayong suot,ok lang...but for the meantime, respect and follow somebody else's rule...kung makareklamo kayo Wagas!
My golly. magtayo nalang kayo ng sarili nyong club, your rules, your style. atleast dun ipagsigawan nyo yan equality issue nyo. magsama sama kayo dun. para lahat kayo manahimik na :)
At the end of the day walang nagbabawal kung sino tayo dapat lg matutu tayong rumespeto bakla lalaki babae o lesbianna eh may mga karapatan din.
panu mo naman na connect ung gender equality sa katigasan ng ulo ng friend mo? meron ka pang "we are not defined by what we wear" dyan! pwes, u r defined by your attitude. alam ng bawal, tigas ng ulo!
I agree. Sunod na lang kayo sa rules. Masyado nang paapi ha. I think private establishments reserve the right to deny service kung against sa rules nila.
cguro naman consider nyo sarili nyo presentable, regardless of gender at kahit naka dress up..pero pag inallow kasi may iba pwede na mag over sa pagdamit..to the point maka iskandalo sa iba...pag may rules, dont think always personal sa inyo, rules eh..it is there to maintain order nothing personal..malay mo if may girl din na obscene itsura paalisin din...
