  1. Sadly, there are a lot of opportunistic people in the online selling industry. Would be better if you make a background check on the companies that offer these "deals", especially those that involve a lot of money. IMHO, I'd rather book a plane ticket and scour the place for cheap accommodations. There's beauty in that experience. Try it:

      It has to come to the attention of DTI, tourism authorities, and maybe Congress.

      As an insider, I can say this hurts tour operators and the
      domestic travel industry. It's not fair to see companies like Metrodeal - which isn't in the travel business anyway - ruin our business.

      What incentive does Metrodeal have to fulfill the order? They just sell the coupons, diba? What recourse do ordinary consumers have if the travel agency partner does not do its job? None apparently.

      That's not right.

      In the US - consumer protection authorities would have already sanctioned, maybe even fined companies doing this sort of thing. I hope this Metro Deal patron gets her vacation - or a full refund - for the aggravation.

Same with other deals...I purchased 2 Xiaomi powerbanks and it took 2months to deliver.metrodeal didn't answer my queries but just refer to their supplier w/c is gavriel888 marketing.and worst, they cancelled all the orders due to unknown circumstances.engot pa nung ng email d ngBCC kya 300+ kme naemail na inform n lng dw kpg me stocks.i kept on calling gavriel888 & it took me a while to be informed that gold lng dw available na pbanks so I had no choice because I needed them in my out of town trip.2pbanks arrived, 1 real &1fake (based on tech sites)...duh!!! STOP PATRONIZING METRODEAL!!

  7. Sana marami pang magcomment dito and give feedback about metrodeal's services. I am planning to avail of its promo e. Kung totoo to, sana wag naman yung ibang online shops ganon din. Any feedback from other online dealers, like Groupon?

    2. ako nagkaproblem sa cashcash.

      bumili ako shades, tapos ang tagal ng delivery. nung nagfollowup ako, di daw nila maserve kasi yung case na prinovide ng supplier, hindi kasya yung shades. kung papayag daw ako, deliver nila ng walang case.

      so i asked bakit di kasya yung case. sabi ko baka fake and pinarefund ko na lang.

      nirefund naman pero 1 month pa. and hindi pa nila irerefund kung di pa ako nagfollowup.

  8. Ay nako biktima na din kami ng mga friends ko ng metrodeal na to. Naubos energy namin sa pakikipagtalo sa kanila, more than 2 mos nila kami bago narefund ata nun. Sabog tong company na to. Napaka disorganized. Sablay mga travel deals kaya never again na mag avail ako ng ganyang promo nila! Sakit lang sa ulo aabutin.

  9. Hi there, i hope na mabasa to ng complainant, my best friend, nag book din sya dati sa metrodeal and it's for Palawan. Sa super dami ng nag avail, hindi na accomodate ung marami, then may nabasa kami online na katulad ng nangyari sa inyo, what she did was email metrodeal and naka cc sa email ang DTI. Ayun, after 2 weeks, na refund nya ung 10k nya. Hope na mabawi mo ung pera mo. And ingat tayo lahat kapag ganyang deal.

  11. We were victimized by Metrodeal too. Maliit lang na amount but still, thousand purchased. Hindi nila dineliver and when puntahan namin ung store, hindi nag eexist. Yun pala, nakigamit lang sila ng room sa taas ng hardware store. Tapos sabi ng babae sa baba hindi nila alam yung business. After sinabi namin isumbong namin sila sa DTI sa pangsscam, tinwag ung sa taas. Sabi ng lalaki, nadeliver na daw at tawagan nlang namin yung number. Bakit pa namin ttawagan eh anjan na kmi sa baba ng store nila. Ask namin what time nadeliver sino nagreceive. Hindi makasagot. Yun pala, ayaw talaga ibigay. It's just a bowl set, tas mura pa pala sa labas. Ok lang sana kasi mura lang, but if you think about it, thousand na nagpurchase ng coupon nila.

  12. Travel online deals aren't really recommended. Besides, it's more fun to plan and organize a trip by yourselves. It may even turn out cheaper than any travel deal.

  13. There's only 1 deal site I trust - Dealgrocer. All other sites are thumbsdown, lalo na when it comes to travel packages. Moral of the story, stick with restaurant deals for the other deal sites but if you're going to spend a lot (i.e. an amount that will hurt if you lose or can't get it back, depending on your threshold) then it's Dealgrocer or attend the travelexpo.

  15. Kumuha din kami sa metrodeal ng TRAVEL voucher sa kanila. Ang hirap kausapin nung travel agency nung nagpapabook na kami, ang daming etchus kahit paid na. Ang labo ng available dates sa resort pero pagdating namin dun, 2 groups lang yung guests (group namin at yung mag-asawa). Ang may problema dyan yung travel agency eh, fwd sila nang fwd ng promo sa metrodeal tapos nganga na kung marami ang mag aavail ng promo. Dapat may coordination ang metrodeal, travel agency at resort para di kawawa ng consumer.

  16. the shopping and product deals were real, i already availed 4 times and i have no issues or problems encountered, siguro yung sa travel deals lang talaga ang sablay or maybe it depends sa agency

  17. I am a loyal Metrodeal customer, and i havent had any problems with them... i have booked hotels, restos, etc... If you encounter any problem, they have a customer servce hotline that responds immediately... i am so far more satisfied with metrodeal than ensogo and groupon ..

  18. panget talaga service ng metrodeal, dami ko bad experiences dito, kaya nga di na ko nag vivisit ng site nila, kahit meron ko gustong gusto na deal nila never na ko nag buy sa deal nila, wala sila concern sa regular client nila, sana nga maaksyunan ng DTI at maipasara na to... and also dito na high risk din un identity ng credit card mo ditto, before na clone un card ko and sabi ng credit card bank officer eh maybe dahil sa pag gamit ko sa card ko online, and that time sa metro deal ko lang nagamit un card ko. SANA NGA MAIPASARA NA METORDEAL NA YAN, KASI MUKHA LANG MGA PERA TAO DYAN SA METRODEAL

  19. I think it just depends sa deal na mahanap mo. I've been buying deals sa metrodeal for a very long time na and wala pa naman ako nagiging problem. just last november we went to Boracay using the vouchers I bought in metrodeal.

  20. i haven't had problems with my metrodeal purchases.

    the problem here is not with metrodeal but with the "supplier". they should've anticipated the deluge of purchases and indicated a maximum number of packages available.

    Dealgrocer indicates the number of items available instead of a timeframe when the sale is available.

  21. Nangyari din sa akin to sa metrodeal...dun sa backpackers inn, tagaytay hindi ako na-accomodate. As a last resort, na-convert na lang nila sa GC and I get to buy other products in lieu of the package. Sobrang nakaka-stress

  23. nag inquire na ko dyan dati, hindi talaga yung presyo na yun ang bAbayaran mo, me mga additional pa yan kaya kunyari lang na sulit yung deal na yan pero hindi naman pala

  24. kahit saang online shop, if malaki ung babayaran, make sure muna na u will get the deal as advertised. kasi non-refundable mostly... ung iba nagrerefund pero as credit lang sa account mo, you have to buy something from them still. so kung 20k binayaran mo at nacredit back, u have to spend that on something that u don't really like para lang mabalik...

  25. Once I bought an item for delivery, antagal bago dumating. Tapos na yung delivery deadline nila, wala pa yung item. Super hassle pa makipagusap sa cust care nila. Kaya kapag may bibilhin kami na item that we really like, pick up sa office na lang nila sa makati yung pinapagawa ko kesa ipa-deliver nila. Mache-check pa mabuti yung item. Nowadays, puro discount sa food, restaurants and accomodation na lang binibili namin pero we call the merchant first before buying the voucher to confirm if may ganun nga silang deal. Minsan kasi, OA naman yung marketing strategy ng Metro Deal. Yung eyelash extension na 80% off daw (199.00 na lang pag ginamit yung voucher) eh 200.00 naman talaga yung original price kapag deretso sa merchant. Kaya, mas ok na wag kagad pasilaw sa mga echos nitong mga online buying sites na ito.

    Matuto na tayo may kasabihan nga If its too good to be true then probably its not true
    Mag DIY n lang kayo direct sa hotel para kyng may problema you can talk to them directly.

  27. That is why I dont avail of any travel deals. Minsan kasi parang too good to be true sa sobrang mura. Id rather spend than maistress sa kakacomplain. --Imbes na maenjoy mo yungpagtravel lalo pa maging hassle. The travel agency and/metrodeal should regulate kng ilan lng pwd magpurchase.. Afterwhich it should end the promo or state na its sold out na

  28. Naka avail ako ng Gold's gym, wala naman problema. Mahirap kasi pag travel, Cebu Pacific nga ang daming problema, travel agencies pa mawawalan.

  32. I booked a trip to OCEAN ADVENTURE, bought discounted tickets for skating, then my friend bought a discount voucher for Wensha Spa. okay naman. I just don't know with travels and items. I haven't tried them yet. Wag naman sana, kasi I was planning to avail.

  34. Aq umorder s metrodeal ng raincoat n my kasama cover ng motorcycle.. Ang tagal ng delivery tas nun dumating wala ung cover ng motorcycle.. Kulang kulang items nila sayang lng bayad s kanila.
