    2. To: The OWNERS of Tyler

Can you please do us all a favor here.....SUE THEM!!!! I really hope madami pa magreklamo sa kanila and mag sara very very soon yung establishment!

  2. I am a dog lover too and I have lost a dog too so I know how it feels but come on, be fair. This is an isolated case. A common scenario of: I made up my mind that I hate you and nothing you can say will change my mind.

    1. Ang lagay sorry na lang? Magbayad din sila!

      Delete
    2. For me, that's 1 to many dogs to die. Dogs don't and should never die while they are being groomed. Saying sorry or being financially compensated can never bring the loved one back. Nothing can. And it hurts that the loved one died out of negligence and stupidity.

    3. 12:18 so pera-pera na lang pala!

      Delete
    4. Maybe they did? I mean, yes the owner can run after them for whatever damages but why the need to blow things out of proportion as if pumatay ng libo-libong pets ang spa? One can't just rob them of business too you know.

      Delete
    5. here in america, sorry is not acceptable... pets here are treated equally, fairly like human beings.. kulungan ang abot + danyos...
kahit private owner na nadedemanda pa, how much more establishment like this.. bring this to a higher court... sana sa pinas may justice ang ganitong situation..

      Delete
    6. agree anon 12:35

to the others, so you'd rather have the establishment closed? don't those people have mouths to feed as well.

    7. Although the death may be an isolated case, their poor service is not.

A friend of mine left their dogs in the "hotel" and when they came back after a few days, the dog's paws were bloody... and the spa folks had no idea why!

And if you go to the FB check-in page for the spa, there are other very concerning complaints.

      Delete
    8. Anon 12:35 How insensitive of you to say that! One life is equivalent to a thousand more! Pag namatayan ka ba ng nanay how will you feel if I say, nanay mo lang naman ang namatay, buhay pa ung nanay ng marami. It is unreasonable and insensitive!

      Delete
    9. They already fired the one responsible for the unfortunate incident. I am sure they will be a lot careful now. No one can bring the life of Tyler back, so the next best thing to do is at least compensate the owner for the loss.

This is a business, and many people are working there. Think about the people who will lose their source of income should this dog spa go bankrupt.

An isolated case like Tyler's should serve as a lesson, but not the cause of bankruptcy.

      Delete
    10. Defending 2:18, it's not pera-pera. It is easing the pain and showing that you really are sorry of what happened. Gestures such as that, though not enough to make up for the loss, show that you understand how it is to lose a loved one, na hindi lang pera-pera ang Dog Spa nila.

      Delete
    11. May sense pa itong so 1024 kesa Kay 1233

    12. 12.15 anong isolated case? It is a WRONG practice to put dogs in a leash kapag nasa table. Common sense lang kahit grade school alam yun. The owners should have trained their groomers. 3 years na pala doon pero never na train sa tamang handling ng dogs? They are irresponsible and should be put out of business

      Delete
  3. it is not just the groomer's fault! the establishment should change their process to ensure that no pet will be endangered again!

    ReplyDelete
  4. dpat magsara na sila, kasi may namatay na pet sa knila. they could create another business that doesnt involve pet grooming. kung pet nila kaya yun anung mgiging reaksyon. yan ang hirap sa pinoy walang delikadesa, kung sa US to nangyari, kusa ng nagsara yang business na yan.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Dude, how many thousands na ba na-service nila over one unfaithful event??? Let them pay the damages, do some changes and move on.

      Delete
    2. as a pet parent you would understand that no amount of payment can be exchange for the life of your pet/baby. maliit lng circle ng pet parents thus this incident can't be ignored. imagine kung may nmatay na bata, sa isang kids salon oh playroom, would you call the same? that business is catered to people who sees their pets as babies/part of the family. kung totoong pet parent ang mayari ng spa na yan, nde yan makakatulog at mahihiya na yan magbukas.

      Delete
    3. anon 12:46 so you want the future of the management ( staff, etc ) destroyed as well because of an isolated incident which was never intended.

negligence of the staff was already dealt with, bakit pa idadamay yung buong management? mawawalan ng trabaho yung iba dahil sa kamalian ng isa?

parang ang selfish naman at very vindictive to say something like that anon 12:46 and anon 12:20.

you can grieve pero wag mandamay ng ibang tao. lalo yung mga walang kasalanan.

      Delete

      Delete
    5. Anon 12:31 sa hospital ba pinapabayaan ang mga patients? hindi naman di ba? kaya nga may nurse eh, well in this case pinabayaan obviously, that's a stupid comparison

      Delete
    6. napaka walang kwenta ng argument mo. hello iba ang hospitals sa dog spa. healthcare is different from grooming services. obviously di ka pet parent. Tyler died out of negligence. maliit lng ang community nming pet parents, good luck na lng sa spa na ito

      Delete
    7. a pet baby died, mind you that weighs more than any job. ang trabaho pdeng palitan pero ai Tyler nde, dpat magiba na lng sila ng negosyo

    8. even if they close down they can open up naman under ibang name...so di naman yun talaga ang solution...and 12.35 you might mean unfateful :) peace :)

    9. Its vicarious liability. The fault of your employee is your fault din kasi hindi mo siya na train at na supervise ng tama. The owner is at fault too and should be punished either sa law or sa social media. Isara na ang business na yan.

      Delete
  5. Dapat kasi bantayan ng owner. D porket "dog" iiwan mo na. Pag anak niyo mag papagupit iiwan niyo ba???

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Victim blaming!

      Delete
    2. There are day care centers where working parents also leave their kids with. It's exactly the same thing.

      Delete

      Delete
    4. Hahaha! Natawa naman ako dito. As if ang grooming will only take 15 minutes. And take note maraming dog spa na pila pila kaya nga iniiwan muna eh.

      Delete
    5. 2:07 this spa is also a dog daycare and dog hotel kung saan iniiwan talaga ang pet to be cared for. Esep-esep ka rin pag may time.

      Delete
    6. Kawawang 2:07. Mambabara na lang, hindi pa nagresearch. Typical heckler. Dog daycare, grooming salon, spa, and hotel sya. Burn?

  6. Have heard good reviews BEFORE from this grooming salon pa naman. But now, i won't let my furbaby be groomed in that irresponsible salon anymore!!!

  7. I am a regular costumer at Dog Spa Fisher Mall branch for my 8month old shih tzu.last month meron sugat yung dog ko sa may legs na malaki and then mu cousin told me na hindi na rin sila doon nagpapagroom dahil laging may sugat ung dogs nila after grooming

  8. advise to pet parents: reality is most hired pet groomers no matter how much training they undergo to are NOT pet parents. They might be pet owners but they are not pet parents, kay dpat mas vigilant tyo lalo na kung pinapalagaan natin ang ating mga babies sa iba. to the owner of this spa, nakakainsulto nman ang ginagawa ninyo, kung totoong pet parent po kayo ay kusa po kayong magsasara dhil may buhay na nawala sa inyong pangangalaga. maaring ndi maintindihan ng marami pero sa circle ng pet parents na inyong clientele alam nyo na po ang dapat gawin.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Huh? Pet parents ay the same as pet owners unless kaya mong mag luwal ng aso. Sue the company para mag tanda sila.

      Delete
    2. pet parents are different in the sense of pet owners dont treat their pets like pet parents, example ang mga pet owners nde nila dinadala ang mga pets nila sa grooming services, iba ang attachment ng pets sa pet parents. kmi ung tinatawag na OA na may damit ang mga pets nmin, ung parang tao tlga. un ung pet parents, yang term n yan ang ginagmit din ng spa as it refers to their clientele

      Delete
    3. 4:07 masyado kang literal. The same? LOL

      Delete
  9. maliit lng ang circle ng pet parents, kaya mas wise kung magsara na sila, otherwise they will incur more losses kpag pinagpatuloy pa nila ang business na ito. pero kung smart ung owner, they should ask help from Tyler's owner, make them a business partner instead of paying them. lahat ng groomers will be trained by Tyler's family. para in that way win win lahat. Tyler's family will get their justice na wala ng pet/baby ang mamatay when being groomed while the dog spa owner will get penalized dhil malaki ang mawawala sa knila dhil ibibiay nila ang kalahati ng negosyo nila sa family ni Tyler.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Naisip mo yun?? Bigyan ng jacket!

      Delete
    2. Wow business partners agad? Tapos tyler's family will be responsible for training all groomer? Parang exaggerated yung suggestion mo.. Medyo i sense something fishy...

      Delete
    3. wow! instant negosyo for a lifetime! jackpot!

      Delete
    4. tyler's family can teach the pet groomers on how to be pet parents, on how to handle the pets with love. dpat un ung inooffer ng management, an opportunity to help them improve their services. wala ng magtitiwala sa knila sa nangyari ngaun. the suggestion might sound fishy pero kung iisipin mo yan ang remedy na ibibigay ng lawyers nila. di na maibabalik si Tyler at ung galit ng family nya, no amount of cash can match that, nde nman jackpot yan kasi nga nde na profitable ang brand ng spa na yan since nga namatayan sila ng customer. its the only way the two parties can correct mistakes.
if i were the dog spa owner: bibigyan ko ng dog collar ang nga customers ko na nakalagay kung anu ang nakasanayan ng pet customers ko or id system so every consideration ng pet parents are their, nandun ang database ng info about pet babies kpag iniscan ung bar code nung id/pet collar
kung ako ang Tyler's family i will make a cause out of it organize all pet parents para di ma abuso ang industry natin. dming business people ang nagsasamantala sa atin dun mo lang makakamit ang justice for Tyler's death.

well at least may solusyon ako na inoofer, khit nman na fire na ung ataff nde pa rin maiiwasan un, hiring Tylers family as partners/consultants will ensure that the two parties are ok and both have come together for a common goal which is to provide the best pet care possible

  11. I'm a mother of four dogs, three cats and two bunnies. Basta takot lang ako, even if 'yung groomers pa ay well trained or whatever. Nung nabasa ko 'yung about kay Tyler natakot ako lalo.

  12. I feel for the loss of pet parents. Having trusted the salon to take care of their furbaby, tapos ganun lang mangyayari. Nakakgalit talaga. I for one had my pet groomed last Saturday, kinagabihan ko na napansin that my dog sustained too many wounds galing sa shaver from his belly part hanggang testicles at nireplyan lng aq ng owner na thats normal kung malikot ang dog. I would agree to one comment na if theyre prof, they should now how to let pets behave!

  15. Indeed. You should never ever estimate the relationship between the pet and its owner. :(

    ReplyDelete
  16. A lot of you don't know that the owners of the Dog Spa have already offered a hefty amount to Tyler's parents eventhough they realize no monetary amount can replace the loss of a beloved furry friend. But the dog's owners are asking for more money and have made ridiculous demands. They've threatened to ruin the business' reputation if their demands are not met. The fact remains that a life is lost and if it can be proven that there was negligence here, someone should be made liable. But resorting to blackmail? I agree that this should be taken to court. At least there, everything will be documented.

    1. they have a different way of coping with the loss.. this is not good really.. seems like theyre taking advantage of the situation..

    2. haha hefty amount na yung 10,000 pesos and replacement of the dog??? the dog can never be replaced. di mo lang alam what the owners go through every night, di sila makatulog kasi katabi nila si tyler sa bed. They are just 2 in the family kasi the dad works abroad. please wag na makisawsaw kung di alam ang situation.

      Delete
    3. Yes mabuti nang magdemanda para transparent. Legally liable naman talaga ang company, not just the groomer. The incident happened in their establishment as part of services they offer. Hindi lang groomer ang liable dyan. Legalities 101.

      Delete
    4. If it's all about the money then why would they go out of their way to push for the closure of the business to save other pets? If your defense is that they're using it as blackmail to get more money out of The Dog Spa, where's your proof?

The owners could easily go to court to make sure they get compensated but they haven't filed yet - something The Dog Spa should be grateful for because I'm pretty sure if they get sued, they'll lose.

Threatened to ruin the business' reputation? The Dog Spa did that all by itself - just read the comments of dissatisfied customers. All Tyler's parents did was share their experience and it went viral.

  17. Anonymous 12:46: "no amount of payment can be exchange for the life of your pet/baby".

      Delete
    2. Mamili ka. Magbayad sila o bigtiin din yung groomer? They should be financial compensation. Do not knock the owners for wanting to punish them. It's true that they will never get Tyler back but it's not right that the dog spa gets away scott free.

      Delete
    3. point is the spa should learn a lesson here.. the loss of a groomers employment doesnt compensate the loss of the life of the dog.. coz if this is all they do.. im afraid theyd get to the point na "sige kuha nalang tayo ng bagong groomer to get away with it.." baka dapat din magbayad ng spa..kahit small amount para matuto.. just my 2 cents..

  18. They should pay and fire the groomer, but if you boycott the place and hope that it closes a lot of people will lose their jobs

  23. as a pet lover with 6 shih tzu rocking our house and filling it with so much happiness...letting go is just the hardest part to accept someone dear to you is totally gone...to Tyler's owner, we have a law regarding pets..you can sue not only the groomer but also the Dog Spa,where your pet died, for their negligence on handling dogs...

    ReplyDelete
  24. THEY EVEN ACCUSED THE OWNER THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO EXTORT THEM!!! BOYCOTT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!!

    ReplyDelete
  25. oa naman nung mga nagsasabi na ipasara na and whatnot yung establishment. first of all nangyayari talaga ang mga bagay na yan. murphy's law! I agree with that anon who used the hospital as an example. it's actually the perfect example. pet groomers are like healthcare professionals as well. and they too commit mistakes and malpractices, they can also become negligent and sometimes catastrophic ang effect like a death of a patient. but do you see hospitals closing for an isolated case?

    1. Doctors and nurses undergo years of training than pet groomers. Dpat ang pet groomers pet parents din para they can handle the grooming part with love.

    2. Umm 12:47.. exactly.doctors and nurse undergo years of training AND YET meron pa din namamatay. Doesnt mean mag close hospital. Doctor might lose his license (groomer lost job) but hospital stays open. Why human life is being compared this is beyond me..

  26. Guys, you don't even have to demand or clamor for the business to be closed down, with all the bad press generated by Tyler's death, the Dog Spa will surely lose a big part of their customer base

    ReplyDelete
  27. Oo nga naman may mga taong tinuturing part ng family or even anak nila ang pets nila, pero pano yung mga nagttrabaho dun. Mawawalan sila ng source of income. Both groomer and client umuwi na may mabigat na dinala. One with a heart full of regret and fear dahil wala na syang trabaho at pano na ang pamilya nya, the other with grief and mourning over the loss of a loved one. One is doomed na talaga. Sino issave mo?

Fire the groomer? definitely. Sue the establishment? sure. Boycott them? why not, it's the clients' call. Hope they close down and their employees lose their jobs? wag naman.

    ReplyDelete
  28. The business needs to close down pero di nman ibig sbihin nde sila makakapag negosyo, kung magaling tlga silang mag business makakatayo silang muli. Its a learning experience for them. Pag nagtayo ba sila ng negosyo ulit eh di b nila bang pdeng i hire ung existing staff nila? May nagbabawal b dun?
Ang problem kasi ung response nila after the incident. Firing that groomer is not enough, payment is not enough, dpat nakaisip sila ng isa pang measure to make sure it wont happen again, dpat iniform nila kmi as existing customers, pero nde eh tinago nila we feel betrayed, we feel unsafe. Sige pagpatuloy nila ung negosyo, pero may magtitiwala pa ba sa knila? Nakakatkot kaya
