Stylist Rex Atienza ordered this purple Cary Santiago more than a year ago for one of his celebrity clients. At the 8th Star Magic Ball, the said Cary Santiago was spotted in black and white on Sharlene San Pedro. I think the said stylist bleached the gown and sprayed the top part in black to comply with the ball's theme. How sad!
Speechless! That was a beautiful gown!
ReplyDeletei really don't know the rules in the fashion world, but if this gown was already paid for.. so i think ok lang na ibahin yan. ewan lang
ReplyDeleteTingin ko kinopya... sad... :(
DeleteTama ka. Right of ownershi includes the right to do any act with respect to the thing owned as long as it does not trale the rights of others
Delete*ownership *trample
Look at the position of the beads. Magkaiba. At mahirap ibleach ang beads no. Same design lang siguro but different gown
ReplyDeletei think magkaiba ung gown. look at the details. ung waist pababa. magkaiba na ung design
But it still looks good parin
DeleteNapaka gandang idea naman non! Tsk #Respect
ReplyDeleteTSK TSK STYLIST
ReplyDeletehmmm. how sad if this is true. but looking closely at the gowns, parang they are different naman from each other.
ReplyDeleteOnce you bleached a fabric, it becomes fragile. I guess nadamage ung top part ng dress dahil sa bleach kaya flimsy and ill-fitting.
ReplyDeleteSayang. Naging cheap ang itsura
ReplyDeleteIt was not the same gown.
ReplyDeletehow awful! que horror!
ReplyDeleteTSK!
ReplyDeleteIt does not look the same. yong pagkakalagay ng laces sa skirt iba.
ReplyDeleteThe lace pattern looks different. Or maybe i have bad eyes. Hehe
ReplyDeleteIf you look closely sa details sa skirt, magkaiba. parang it's a different gown altogether. I think rip-off na ito, ginaya but hindi nakuha yung details.
ReplyDeletethe two gowns are different!
ReplyDelete1.) you cant bleach synthetic fibers because you will ruin it nor dyeing it because the colors will not hold
2.) the top part of the purple gown is pleated/ruched and the gray one is not.
3.) they copied the silhouette and the cut of the cary gown
4.) i think they copied the pattern of the lace by getting samples from the original gown and have it made somewhere since the placement of the lace is symmetrical
therefore, they didnt bleached or reuse the gown but instead they copied it.
If that's the case, they should not say na Cary Santiago yung sinuot ng starlet.

DeleteKim and Boop Yap is that you? Naninira nanaman ba kayo? I heard na naging kamukha ng gown ni maja last year ung original gown kaya kumuha kayo sa ibang designer but still failed kamukha pa din hahahahaha
Your still a 2nd rate stylist
- your no. 1 hater
#churaneto
Deletelace patterns looks different
ReplyDeletecary confirmed it, Yes the gown was altered, bleached and added some beads.

Unprofessional. So low. Fire that stylist.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's the same dress, lace pattern is different.
