How? Sarah was out of tune a couple times. And again with the oversinging comment, she sang it exactly how it's supposed to be sung. No adlibs or unnecessary runs, no forced "birits". I don't even get what you mean.
The real life disney princess. Super love her rendition. Effortless. Ang linis. Even Idina can't sing this good pag live (refer to disney event and oscars) ... been looking forward to hear this :) thanks fp!
For me, if emotion pag-uusapan: Sarah G., Regine then Lea. Admit it, may kulang dito sa version ni Ms. Lea. If performance naman, Sarah G., Regine then Lea pa rin.
It's nice...but her voice is too sweet....lacks range and power for this song....the song is all about bravery, angst, power and unlimited freedom....Lea is an A singer but with this song, it needed more range and flexibility....
I like her diction, but she can't reach the high notes. This song requires to have the high notes kasi it's a powerful song, yun yung kwento nung kanta.
Nakakaantok. Parang bawat "Let it go" nya ay napapapikit ako.
Nawala yung power nung kanta. Lowered version pa ito nung kay Idina. Let It Go is about freedom, bravery, and transforming into a Queen.. di ko nakita yon sa version ni Lea.
i do think that it's too beat-y.... I mean there's a lot of drums there, i thought lea did a good job. though she sang it in a lower key but the dynamics is there... it's just, too percussion-y to me ...hehehe
Idina's upper register is annoying so I' been waiting for Lea's version. Smooth. Though I would appreciate if she sang the original pitch, kaya naman niya.
Lea's version is good kaya lang parang it's a bit safe...
i like Sarah's version a bit better kasi i felt the passion and i felt she owned the song...though there were parts that she didn't quite get the key pero, all-in-all i love the way she interpreted the song =)
Have you heard her sing live? I realized where those "sobrang gandang boses" comments came from the moment she opened her mouth and sang in front of an audience that I was a part of.
When she does something again to make our country proud tsaka nyo sya ma-appreciate. Kailangan bang lagi nalang ibang bansa muna yung mag appreciate sakanya bago yung sarili nyang bansa? Tignan nyo, if Perez Hilton etc. didn't post about it, malamang wala lang yun sa ibang Filipino. Diba kayo?! !
Sarah G.'s version was good, but her diction and clarity of words weren't as good as Lea. Lea has her own version unlike other artists who copied Idina's style.
Better than Idina...
DeleteIdina's version is still the best. Palpak nga lang kapag live. lol
Deleteyeah! i love Lea's rendition more!
DeleteHonestly, sarah's version is much better. Just saying.
This! These people why lea is overrated!!!!!!
DeleteIdina pumiyok sa Oscars and her cartoon version is annoying. Lea's version is better. Sarah too maganda
DeleteLea you never fail to amaze me. Efortless!!
ReplyDeleteGaling! Effortless.

DeleteDo you even know what oversinging means? Obviously, you don't. Google it.
Deletebest version ever
ReplyDeleteGaling talaga! Walang katulad
ReplyDeleteSana siya na Lang kumanta
ReplyDeleteWow.. Bagay sa voice nya.. =) parang gusto ko siya panuorin.. This is rehersals for what?
ReplyDelete100x better than Regine. Well, it is an insult to Lea if she is being compared to Regine. just my opinion.
ReplyDeleteThen, don't mention the 2 of them in 1 comment. Maiinsulto ang comment mo sa comment mo. Gotcha?
DeleteRegine is Regine! She became famous thru her Raw Talent and Lakas ng Loob. Si Lea, na hype lang naman but her vocals are average
DeleteNot bad! But i think sarah g version is much better
ReplyDeleteSuper true.. Mas maganda ang kay sarah. Lea is oversinging it.
DeleteJologs

ReplyDeleteWAAAH! tagal ko ng hinihintay to~
ReplyDeleteManing mani lang sa kanya
ReplyDeleteeffortless yun pgkanta but wlang effort ang panamamit. pak!
ReplyDeleteLea, awesome as always. Perfection personified. <3
ReplyDeleteRegine's version is the best. Next is Lea's, then Sarah's version.
ReplyDeleteTrue. The best ung kay regine dahil tamang emotions yung pinakita nya. From sweet to powerful notes. Plakado!
DeleteFor me, if emotion pag-uusapan: Sarah G., Regine then Lea. Admit it, may kulang dito sa version ni Ms. Lea. If performance naman, Sarah G., Regine then Lea pa rin.
DeleteNo way, Regine's voice is basag.
DeleteSeriously? Regine was just shouting, my ears almost bled. And, she was out of tune a couple of times.
Sumabit sya sa last part noh. Kahiya hiya!
DeleteRegine is like Kathryn and Lea is Julia. Lea will never have the general mass rallying at her back
DeleteIt's nice...but her voice is too sweet....lacks range and power for this song....the song is all about bravery, angst, power and unlimited freedom....Lea is an A singer but with this song, it needed more range and flexibility....
ReplyDeleteTrue. Patang without feelings yung pagkanta
DeleteI like her diction, but she can't reach the high notes. This song requires to have the high notes kasi it's a powerful song, yun yung kwento nung kanta.
Huwag masyadong magmarunong.
DeleteShe reached all the high notes. In fact, she hit every note. Did you really listen?
DeleteNakakaantok. Parang bawat "Let it go" nya ay napapapikit ako.
DeleteKorak! Parang sumisigaw sya, well lampas na kasi sa range nya yung kanta kaya ganon
DeleteAng boses na sumisigaw is Regine. Lea uses her diaphragm - power.
Wag kang shunga alam mo yan
DeleteSobrang galing! But Idina's version is much much more powerful. Parang malambot pagkakakanta ni Lea which is hindi para sa song na yun.
ReplyDeleteGrabe ang smooth at effortless!
ReplyDeleteNawala yung power nung kanta. Lowered version pa ito nung kay Idina. Let It Go is about freedom, bravery, and transforming into a Queen.. di ko nakita yon sa version ni Lea.
ReplyDeleteI second the motion

peace! GOD bless everyone! =)
ReplyDeleteEffortless, but this version is for theatre only and not good for movie... Listen carefully guys, Idina's version is best for the MOVIE...
ReplyDeleteLet it gold...
ReplyDeleteNot her song.
