Perhaps, this is the first time that you, and your readers will ever encounter a designer like Mr. DL, and come across a wedding story as horrible as the one that happened to my niece who was the Bride. I am writing in behalf of the Bride, the client of Mr. DL.
The Bride met Mr.DL at a wedding bazaar a few months before the wedding. Mr.DL may have appeared young, but he made quite an impression on the Bride when she saw his creations displayed at the bazaar venue.
The following were the accounts of the Bride and the series of events that took place between her and Mr.DL prior to the wedding date.
On August 14 and August 18, 2013, they both agreed on the following:
1. Mr. DL would provide ten gowns, namely one (1) for the Bride, one (1) for the maid of honor, two (2) for the parents, three (3) for the bridesmaids, and three (3) for the flower girls.
2. Mr. DL would deliver the finished gowns – a week or so before the wedding.
However, what happened was like a nightmare you wouldn’t wish even to your enemies. Mr. DL caused the Bride and her family embarrassment, panic and mental anguish on the day of the wedding itself.
If not for the collective effort and the presence of mind of the Bride’s family and friends, the wedding that took many months to prepare could have been totally ruined by this one single “Designer from Hell.”
1. THE GOWNS WERE DELIVERED LATE. Mr. DL was good in the beginning, but a few weeks into the wedding, he had been failing on his commitments i.e. fittings and delivery of the gowns. The Bride admitted to have erred in trusting him too much and Mr. DL clearly abused it.
After several postponements, finally, Mr. DL said that he would deliver the gowns to the Bride’s residence the day before the wedding.
But the gowns never came.
On the phone that night, he explained to the Bride that he got caught in the traffic, but assured her not to worry and that he would have his driver bring him (with the gowns) to the wedding venue in Tagaytay (wedding was at 4pm) and assuring the Bride that it would be a smooth-flowing transaction.
2. NOT ALL THE GOWNS WERE DELIVERED ON THE DAY OF THE WEDDING. Mr. DL’s assurance that he would have his driver bring him to the wedding venue did not happen. Instead, Mr. DL together with an assistant, arrived in a taxi at the Bride’s residence at 7:30 in the morning of the wedding day, with a big suitcase full of gowns that included that of the Bride’s, but EXCLUDING that of the three (3) flower girls’, one (1) principal sponsor, and the cape (like a shawl) for the mother of the Bride’s gown.
3. MR. DL DID NOT EXERCISE PROPER CARE IN THE HANDLING OF THE GOWNS. He left the gowns to the care of the Bride with a promise that he would follow to Tagaytay immediately to bring the rest of the undelivered gowns.
NOTE: The Bride’s gown was not even placed in a box but was commingled with the other gowns of the entourage.
4. MR. DL DID NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR HIS DELAYS AND SHORTCOMINGS WHEN HE TOTALLY IGNORED CALLS/TXT MSGS ON HIS CELLPHONE. He failed to arrive at the venue at the time that he promised he would. He did not even take the calls and text messages from the very stressed Bride and family members and the wedding coordinator, asking him for his whereabouts and his exact location at that time.
Worse, he even turned off his cellphone! When he did answer his phone once, he made all sorts of excuses for his delays, such as traffic, etc. It was at this point when the Bride learned that Mr. DL was going to the venue commuting by bus!
5. THE GOWNS WERE NOT READY AT ALL. The Bride and family gowns he brought earlier inside the suitcase needed major repairs and were definitely not wearable. The materials used looked old, recycled, dirty, and deplorable.
* Mr. DL did not follow the Bride’s requirements on the designs of her gown and that of the entourage’s, including the type of embellishments that they agreed on.
* The embellishments and materials used by Mr. DL were cheap, substandard, demeaning for the wearer apart from the horrible quality of work done.
* Unfit and impossible to wear with sizes too tight, too loose, too long, etc.
Due to the unfinished gowns, the Bride, the parents of the couple, and her entourage had nothing to wear for the photo and video shoots, which had to be cancelled altogether.
Five (5) hours of supposed photos/video shoots (8am - 1pm) were wasted and not utilized. That meant thousands of pesos (in photographers’ fees) gone down the drain.
The scheduled pre-lunch wedding march rehearsal did not happen.
6. MR. DL CAME VERY LATE TO THE VENUE AND WAS OF NO HELP TO THE BRIDE OR THE ENTOURAGE. He came in thirty (30) minutes before the wedding started and was already of no help and relevance given the magnitude of the damage he had caused the Bride and her family and friends.
Before that, everyone spent many precious hours in panic, and fear that the wedding may not push through at all as all the gowns were still being rushed for repair. As a result, the Bride as well as everyone involved were in tears and in unspeakable mental anguish.
The big delay caused a domino effect on other matters that needed urgent and detailed attention as well, further jeopardizing what could have been a more organized and better executed wedding.
Family and friends from Manila who arrived hours earlier at the venue were at their wits trying to figure out how best to solve the problems given the very limited time and the lack of sewing skills of most of us. Compounding the problems were the lack of tools/materials ( sewing supplies like pins, thread, scissors, glue, etc). Thankfully, quick thinking and resourcefulness of family and friends amidst the chaos kept us sane throughout that long ordeal.
And of course, prayers helped tide us through.
Wedding Coordinator completely lost her cool on Mr. DL when he shamelessly told her to just be the one to do the work for him if people could not wait. Coordinator was aghast as her six (6) staff were busy rushing to finish sewing, gluing and ironing the gowns all the time when they were supposed to be running errands for the Bride and Groom and other stuff that needed to be done.
Because everyone's hands were full, nobody was able to check the final set-up of the catering (groom's and coordinator's assignment ). It turned out that there were still some details that needed to be addressed but were not.
As a result of Mr. DL’s ridiculous incompetence and unprofessionalism, the wedding ceremony was delayed for almost an hour (4:45 pm) because the repairs that had to be made on the gowns were just overwhelming.
But we thank God for His guidance and presence that miracles happened inspite of everything.
The wedding as a whole turned out well and memorable. The beautiful venue, the flowers, the food, romantic lights, the production and musical numbers, the presence of family and friends who mattered most, as well as happy tears and joy brought many happy memories to the Bride and Groom.
Were it not for the collective effort and presence of mind of these people, the wedding wouldn’t have turned out the way it did.
Fashion Pulis, I am writing to you to warn your readers of this man Mr. DL, who pretends to be a designer but seems like a vulture looking out for his prey. Do not even ever think of hiring the services of this person if you do not want a disaster of a wedding similar to this one!
We learned later on that Mr. DL was even seeking accreditation in the venue where this wedding was held. The nerve! What he deserves is to be totally banned from all wedding events such as bazaars so that he could no longer victimize unsuspecting clients/brides to be.
He claimed that he teaches fashion-related course at a big university in Manila.

Gosh! Nakakaloka! Horrors!
ReplyDeleteLesson: shirt and jeans sa guy and blouse and long skirt sa girl like a school uniform. No stress, no hassle! What's important is the food!
Delete2:58! Are you even a lady to say this? Or talagang wala kang plan ikasal kaya ganyan ang suggestion mo?!
DeleteGosh! Hindi ko siguro matetake to pag ako to. It's like.... the day I've been waiting for! Tapos masisira lang?!!
DeleteOk ka lng sa statement mo?!wedding ito ma once in a lifetime hindi pagpunta sa mall.stupidity tlga!goodness!
DeleteThe ceremony should be top most important. Just saying.
DeleteThat's not the lesson! Matagal pinaghandaan yan tapos ganyan. Ikaw ba yan, DL?!
Delete2:54, the amount was not cheap.
DeleteKung sa akin nangyari ito, i will sue the designer.
Deletewith all honesty had it been like 2 months prior to the big event she should have known...lahat ng designer may tinatawag na shell its what they use for the fitting kce sa tradition dw ng pilipinas na hind pwede suotin ang gown chuva ganyan, but they will still let you fit the gown even if it is embellished already. You should have known that he was hoax, kce nga he cant deliver. Was this just your first time to have a big event?kahit nga 1 month pwede pa sana pumaspas sa divisoria kung talagang doubtful na. Hindi niyo na sana pinaabot hangang mismon wedding day. maraming hoax nowadays kaya kilatisin mo din pag may time. lahat kelangan mo kilalanin lalo na kung big event sa buhay mo yan.
DeleteSuper agree 9:23. One should also learn to be paranoid in times like this, hindi yung puro tiwala na lang. this is a big lesson
ReplyDeleteI was there, the truth is, new ang mga gowns, but most of the materials used are cheap and the workmanship sucks soooo bad!
DeleteMagkano ba budget ?! Baka kinuripot
DeleteSino po ito? More clues about the designer so we'll avoid this person.
DeleteTama. Nakakahiya. I will sue him for personal damages and mental anguish.
DeleteWow that's totally messed up. Why not just named the designer instead of initials?
ReplyDeleteIf what was said did happen, then by all means name the designer so that people will have the option to think twice before asking his service.Doing a blind item thing will not resolve anything, if what you said is true.
DeleteSorry po, di ko matiis. Named talaga?
Deletesige push mo yang pagkokorek mo. grammar nazzi kuno?
DeleteThis is so scary. im about to meet some designers this May. Should I eliminate the guy designers from my list? It would be helpful if someone can give clues.
Delete@3:08 Ever heard of typo errors? Get a life!
DeleteI heard that DL sub-contracted the labor to people he hardly knew. Siguro dami nya tanggap na work kaya nagpa-subcon siya. Then di nya natutukan bec he was busymuch din with other clients. Plus he said his atelier was undergoing contruction. Ayun pinahamak nya sarili nya.
Delete6:52 you can just use TYPO "it was a typo" no need to include the word error.
You get what you pay for.
Delete@9:18, typographical error is the correct term for that so "typo error" is still more accurate than "typo" only.
DeleteA typographical error (often shortened to typo) Check mo kaya sa wikipedia.
Deletewikipedia is not accurate para lang malaman mo... anyone can edit any article any write-up sa site.
DeleteAng chachaka ng mga gowns ha! Cheap much!
ReplyDeleteSue this person! Can you do that in the philippines? Sue for the gowns and emotional damages!
ReplyDeleteYes. Pwedeng pwede siya kasuhan for damages for the mental anguish he caused.
DeleteYes. There were cases similar to this.
DeleteYes. breach of contract plus damages. I wonder who this pesky designer is.
Deletethe bride should sue this person! i have a friend who experienced the same but with the groom's suit & entourage. after the wedding she filed a case. she already paid the designer in advance but the suits didnt arrive.
DeleteYikes.
ReplyDeletepangalanan na yan!
ReplyDeleteaw..... this is so sad! nakakaawa naman yung kinasal at mga kamag-anak nya. this is the most important moment sa life nya, tapos ganyan ginawa??? grabe
ReplyDeleteAll the gowns look badly rushed by this Evil Designer!
ReplyDeleteGrabe!
DeleteKorek!
ReplyDeleteThe clue is in the pic at the top.
DeleteName the designer. He deserves to be shamed for this.
ReplyDeleteI don't think it's libel if the accusations are true. NAME HIM!!!
Agree din ako na pangalanan siya. Ang hirap e lalo na for most who visit blogs to get ideas who to best contact. So we'd know kung sino ang dapat iwasan!
Deleteit could be libel.
Deleteas a general rule, truth is not a defense in libel suits.
They can still sue him for damages
DeleteIs this for real? This is the worst i've ever seen! Kawawa naman ang bride and groom. Buti na lang na-compensate sa ibang aspect.
ReplyDeleteSino ang designer na ito. What's the purpose of the letter kung hindi namin malalaman kung sino sya.
ReplyDeleteplease name the designer. two of my relatives are getting married and they sought designers from bazaar too. hopefully it is not him. letter sender, did you still pay the shitty designer?
ReplyDeleteGiiirl pwedeng idemanda yan. Nasa Law of Obligation and Contracts yan! Sue that bitch!
ReplyDeleteSino itong bastos na designer na ito?!
ReplyDeleteGiiiirl pwede mong kasuhan yan! Nasa Law of Obligation and Contracts, + damages pa + refund!!
ReplyDeletegrabe. this designer should be named.
ReplyDeleteAgree! Or refund the money.
DeleteSue his unprofessional a$$
ReplyDeleteMas magaling pa ako manahi hahaha
ReplyDeletenakakaiyak naman ito?
ReplyDeletePangalan yan...di dapat blind item
ReplyDeleteaaaawwww :( what a nightmare!
ReplyDeletename drop!! its only as good as doing nothing if you dont name that unprofessional tw*t
ReplyDeleteOr at least report him to the YDG (young designers guild) i sure hope hes not a member. Or the Fashion desginers council (something like that).
ReplyDeleteHe should be a member so that a proper sanction could be give
Delete*given
DeleteThe bride should sue this designer. Grabe ang papangit ng mga gowns. Minsan Lang ikasal ang babae, kaya as much as possible gusto ng mga ikakasal e memorable ang wedding but not like that. Nakasira ng kasal yang designer na yan and worse, he/she caused too much damage like pre-nuptial photoshoot and the wedding itself.
ReplyDeleteSo sad for the bride and groom.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing that one need to do in a case like this is...sue the gaddamn bastard!
Very unprofessional!
ReplyDeleteThat is totally unacceptable. I am not sure if there is a way you can sue this designer under Philippine law or kahit ilapit nyo ang storya na nagyari sa major Daily broadsheets or a major news outlet sa Manila. This is just ridiculous!
ReplyDeleteThe supposed-to-be fairytale wedding of my sister-in-law turned out to be our family's worst Nighmare! Grabe.. we're all excited that day but when we arrived at the venue, oh boy! Kawawa the bride and her mother... so stressed and frustrated.
Thanks!
Deletepangalanan mo kaya.
DeleteHi Anon 11:29am. I really feel sorry for your family. i can't imagine what you went through. I'm just glad everything went smoothly despite the disaster this evil designer did. Designer nga bah siya??? Anyway, I'm a wedding supplier, so I'm exposed to these kind of events. I don't mind nah konti lang kinikita ko because I really love what I do and I value my clients. But I was really shocked to know nah meron pa lang tao nah ganito ka garapal! It just shows nah pera lang ang habol niya! I felt so bad for the bride kasi i know how hard mag prepare nang wedding, dream wedding tapos parang basahan lang ang peg nung designer. Grabeh talaga. I hope you can name him...
ReplyDeletePlease name him. This will not help anyone because we don't know who you're talking about.
ReplyDeletei wanna know who this designer is. :/ super i feel for the bride grabeng stress to.... :(
ReplyDeleteThe designer should be named para wala nang mabiktima.
ReplyDeleteThe worst. :s spill it kung sino man itong designer na ito! Grabe lang! :(
ReplyDeleteUnprofessional works!
ReplyDeleteShould be named so that wedding fair organizers can ban him from joining and victimizing other couples
ReplyDeletehow can people avoid doing business with this guy if people don't know who this guy is?
The contract price wasnt cheap, hindi sya binarat. On wedding day 20% na lang ang balance ng couple sa kanya. All the gowns designs and embelishments were not what was agreed upon based on execution. In short binaboy nya ang trabaho. That was probably the reason why on the 11th hour na nya nilabas yang mga ginawa nya. DL was scared of the repercussion. He was so stupid!
But the execution and workmanship should never be compromised. Kahit mura dapat pulido ang gawa sana.
DeleteYes, I think for public interest, he should be named. A videographer in the US was sued by clients because they didnt think his video was good, but actually it was. Trial by the public is A-OK. We do the same for restaurants, govt institutions.. A money-making train like bridal services (every month ata may bridal fair) only justly deserves that suppliers abide by their promises. :-P
ReplyDeletewawa the bride
ReplyDeleteI think you have the right to sue him for the damages this so-called-designer had done. Demand for a refund. What he did was unacceptable!
ReplyDeleteKung ayaw nyong i name or idemanda, complain nyo na lang sa association ng Filipino designers, if he is a member. Grabe, pero in a way, may fault din ang bride, she trusted him so much. She should have gone to the shop at makita man lang ang mga gown. Why did she wait until the day of her wedding to see the gowns?
ReplyDeleteDon't blame the bride, this is solely the fault of that blasted designer, in the first place, if you are a legit businessman, you should be honest with your dealings. If you can't deliver, then have the decency to let your client know. Isisi pa daw ba sa bride? Insensitive much?
DeleteI had the same experience but thank God, may one month pa bago ang kasal ko when i realized that we were going nowhere. Text, tawag, email, sinearch ko pa sya sa fb at nakailang punta din ako sa shop nila only to be told na bumibili na ng lace blah blah, pero wala naman pala talaga! Four hours ang byahe ko from the province to manila at ilang beses akong umuuwi ng walang napapala! Kagigil! Tas pahirapan pa bawiin ang downpayment, kung di ko pa tatakutin na magdadala ako ng pulis (to which she replied kahit isang batalyon ang dalhin mo). I dont think it's the bride's fault. I feel you, bride. No bride deserves to have this experience on her special day.
DeleteDL made it known early on that his atelier in Makati (daw) was under contruction. Therefore, txts, emails and personal meet-ups ang naging transaction. The bride saw his gowns at a bazaar, that was how they met.
Deleteit's not the bride's fault. how would she know that something's seriously wrong when it was her first time to get married? ang insensitive mo naman.
Deletehe's not being insensitive. totoo naman na may fault ang bride because she should have checked her gowns weeks or a month before the wedding day. we can't trust people we don't know that easily. pero he did not put all the blame on the bride kasi ang designer talaga ang may kalokohang ginawa dito
DeleteResearch First the designers background... tsk.. th
ReplyDeleteAng chaka nya ha!
ReplyDeleteYikes! Wala silang contract? That's the first sign of a legit designer, dapat may kontrata, especially for big events!
ReplyDeleteThere was a contract which he DL didn't abide by.
DeleteThere was a contract, but DL did not deliver.
DeleteName this designer please.
DeleteI agree..why not name the designer so we could teach him a lesson! para wala ng mabiktima pa..
ReplyDeleteThis is nightmare!!! Nakakaloka! Imbis na may peace of mind ung bride dahil wedding day nya, na-hassle pa. Rrrrrr. Pero mas importante ay naikasal sila.
ReplyDeleteIm gonna cry!
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna cry !
ReplyDeleteI had a tagaytay wedding and all our gowns were made from a bridal shop in tutuban. To the author, pls disclose the name of that designer to warn brides to be.
ReplyDeleteI don't get the point of letters like this. If you can't give us the name, give us solid clues. You're killing us with the suspense! You have to understand. I'M A BRIDE AND THIS IS THE SORT OF NIGHTMARE WE DREAD TO HAVE.
ReplyDeleteOh my...mas maganda pa iyong mga off the racks! The designs from buying ready made gowns for the bride and entourage may not be unique as they are mass-produced and fittings may have to be adjusted, but at least not as ugly as these mediocre, old, and ill-fitting excuse of creations by this designer.
Bride and her family has to be given justice!
ReplyDeleteyeah, the moral of the story is, have everything in black and white first.
ReplyDeleteBride and groom are not yet done with DL. The couple are very busy with urgent matters overseas, cant find time for DL at this point. DL knows that this is not yet over.
DeleteI hope they do something soon, it was their wedding day, something that will only happen once in their lives
DeleteMAYGAWD!! EPIC horror! I cant imagine how the brides and relatives went through all these disasters. Im sure nasuka ung bride sa sobrang bweset. Unbelievable! SINO ANG DL NA YAN??? SINOOOO?
MESA wagas! Anong meron sa Sta. Mesa na pinag initan mo te?
DeleteIf the purpose of this article is to warn other brides, why not name the designer? STRESSFUL!
ReplyDeleteHow will we know who to avoid if you don't tell us his name??
ReplyDeleteNgayon tuloy if you're a legit designer and happens to have the same initial, you're screwed haha. Tell us who it is :))
Sounds like somebody I know. Anyone want to tell who this designer is?
ReplyDeleteI think i might have guessed the name too, well, at least based on the initials given, and that it's a he. D the m?
DeleteI can't imagine the anguish of the bride and her family! When I hired my designer last year, he was also good in the beginning. Until, he started delaying the fittings and giving excuses about such delays. Ok, maybe my encargo wasn't as expensive as others, but he made a commitment to me. You know, I almost got my dress late! And he even had the nerve to tell me na "extra-special effort" daw ang ni-spend nila just to finish it the day I told him to. Mahirap mag-trust! dapat talaga may contract or something. Kawawa yung kinasal.
DeleteWhat a brilliant idea 6:58! Take a tip, brides-to-be!
ReplyDeleteTraumatic!!! Pangalanan na yan, why just the initials? So people can stay away from this so called designer!
ReplyDeleteOh my god. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. I'm a bride to be and this makes me angry that wedding fair organizers allow scumbags like him to participate in their events.
ReplyDeleteSue him! Name this "designer" and post this story in other wedding forums here in the Philippines.
ReplyDeleteCan you please at least name the designer.
ReplyDeleteFile a case against the designer is the best remedy for this incident. You have a very strong case of breach of contract if you want to pursue this and the designer will be liable for damages. He may even be compelled to PAY REFUND OF THE WHOLE AMOUNT plus DAMAGES in this case due to mental anguish, humiliation, anxiety, sleepless nights and added stress to the bride. We encounter a case similar to this and the court awarded damages given for such things as pain, suffering, and time wasted. Punitive damages are paid for such things as negligence. Special damages are awarded for reimbursement of such expenses as LEGAL COSTS. That designer paid almost a million pesos all in all. I advise the bride and groom to get a good lawyer, you have a very strong case here.
My goodness!
At kung sino man yang impaktong designer n yan! Matabunan ka sna ng tonela toneladang tela!!
ReplyDeleteI think i know who Mr. DL is... kung tama ang hula ko nakakahiya sya
ReplyDeleteDesigner - D as in the m
ReplyDeletesya rin hula ko..
DeleteComing from the wedding industry, ang lakas ng sira sa ulo ng 'designer' na yan. The nerve na mag join ng mga bazaar or expos. I think naglakas loob yan na tawagin ang sarili nya na ganun with the the hopes of finding a mananahi. Akala nya makakaloko sya siguro. Nakakaloka talagang basura na ang gowns. Sana idivulge na ang name niya kasi to warn others as well. Nakakainis!
ReplyDeleteDL- D?
ReplyDeleteThere's a designer whose initials are the same. By any chance he does bags too? Is he D the m?
ReplyDeleteoo nga, si D kaya ito?
DeleteYes!
DeleteNo, this gay doesnt do bags. he is below 30 and thin.
Deletethat's why i will my gown and my entourage's at baclaran and have a talented mananahi to do the adjustment. mura na and you can get exactly what you want for your money. aba isang beses mo lang susuutin, bakit kailangan abutin ng 100,000 ang damit. eh mahal pa ng same day edit video plus photo. yung flowers pa na kinagibahan eh lanta na at sa basurahan ang direcho. tapos yung pinacater mo na pagkamahal mahal eh pipintasan pa ng di mo naman kaano ano at sinama lang ng ininvite mo... aba mabuti pa kaya magtanan na lang ako at kinabukasan magpalucky me pancit canton with egg for everyone na lang!
ReplyDeleteAng dami mong sinabi teh!
DeleteHahaha. Tomo,,,
DeleteNo, he is not the one.
DeleteI hope you name this Designer please, for future brides and their dream weddings. For someone whose getting married, kahit may magaling kang coordinator- the whole planning is very stressful na. Dumagdag pa ng double because of this designer. I hope the bride got a contract when when she finalized agreements with this designer and sana she can use this in the court to sue this designer from hell.
ReplyDeleteThe purpose of this post is to warn. Please named the designer so we should know who's not to hire or else, the efforts of writing the entire post and the very reason why writing this in the first place will just go down the drain.
ReplyDeletefile a case for breach of contract.
ReplyDeleteSino ito? Please naman give us the name. Kawawa naman yung mga mabibiktima pa niya.
ReplyDeleteThere's a designer with those initials - medyo sablay ang reputation sa wedding gowns. Dapat talaga pinapaalam yan sa lahat. I-report sa DTI.
ReplyDeleteQue Horor! Who is this designer? I think people should be aware who this is. Ang sama!
ReplyDeletePANGALANAN NA YAN!!!
ReplyDeleteto start with that is a horrendous color motif! looks like adams family ang kinasal lol second if a week from the day of the wedding nagkakaaberya na dapat they already gave him the ultimatum! di yung the day it self bubulaga na alng sa kanila yan!
ReplyDeleteHorrendous color motif? Speak for yourself, dude! Judging the wedding motif based on cropped photos is the height of stupidity. Perhaps it may appear horrible kung katulad mo ang magsusuot, get the point? Read the article first, then answer your question.
DeleteKaloka!
ReplyDeleteSino ba to FP. Clue please
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter how much the package was -- the designer could have said that the package could not go below such and such amount. But since the designer agreed to the package, then he should have delivered. He can deliver gowns that are clean, pressed, and ready to wear even though the materials are not expensive. The point was that he did not deliver.
ReplyDeleteHorror story talaga to. I'm a bride to be and I believe na hindi dapat basehan ang price ng gown sa kung maganda ba or pangit. My cousin bought her gown sa Divi for less than 5k pero di hamak na mas matino yun kesa jan! Ang lesson talaga dito:
ReplyDelete1. Kilalaning maigi ang designer (wag basta magtitiwala). Hindi porket sikat or kilala, magaling na. Madami akong nababasa sa wedding forums na sikat pero pangit ang gawa (not just designers, kahit caterers, photo and video, etc)
2. Never ever tell the designer or manannahi the exact date of your wedding.
