What is wrong with you? This is why our country is like this. Because of people like you.
pinaglalaban nya pero behind this may hidden agenda sya ng para pag=usapan sya...ang tagal nya sa hibernation and out of nowhere biglang nabuhay dahil sa rape issue ..she`s using this opportunity....
She does have a point but as they say, you also have to learn to choose your battles. And deniece cornejo's battle wasnt one that was worth fighting for. That girl makes a mockery of rape victims. So it is annoying for kay alano to say that people got upset with her for speaking up. To a person with common sense, it is obvious that people are upset, not about her cause but the "victim" she was somehow "supporting". She should have waited until the facts were out and then reacted.
10:20 girl, so when will she speak up, another few years from now? if she feels that it is the right time to speak up, good on her. The question here is, is the actor you are vouching for really squeaky clean? Haven't it entered your mind, maybe that's why he was targeted with that modus operandi is that because there maybe talks in showbiz circles that he likes to dip his fingers to whoever is pretty and cordial to him. The actor was so confident about his usual tricks until 1 day another crazier and sicker individual saw it as an opportunity to fleece him of out of his Peso.
anon 1020, she probably knew victims of similar situations so she reacted. she did not say anything about supporting deniece, but what she mentioned was she knew victims of vhong. i think meron naman talaga, i'm just not sure kung yung mga lumalabas nga ang mga yun.
whats the point kat? all the things you wrote alam na ng madlang people. unless you are a victim yourself eh wala namang substance yang blog mo coz its all hearsay
If that is the case, then she is not taking her own advice of speaking up. If she want women to be brave in the face of sexual harassment or abuse, and she was a victim herself, she should lead by example.
I agree with 2:07, nung una siyang nag post ng kung ano2, nag akala tuloy an tao na na rape siya, den nung i interviewhin sya, sabi niya personal opinyon lang daw niya un about rape.

Ok..girl huwag ng sumawsaw. Everyone should know that rape can happpen anywhere..anytime and by anyone.
Was she a rape victim before at nanahimik lang? or is she referring to the 4th victim (lesbian)?
no..people are not quick to judge..but ikaw ms.alano madali mong najudge na victim talaga si Deniece. without having proof or what..you are quick to defend her. dun nainis ang mga tao..sa pag tatanggol mo sa taong hindi naman dapat. hindi mo ba naisip na kaya nga ginagamit niya ang rape for a reason kasi madali silang makalusot dahil dun. sabihin mo yang point mo ng hindi humahalo sa ibang issue para lang mag trending ka.
Everyone who disagree with her is clearly an idiot. Just because someone present themselves in a sexual demeanor, it doesn't make them "rape-able." If the sex isn't consensual, it's rape.
Hello FP!
Okay as of the article, I don't think naman na biktima ni Vhong Navarro etong si Kat Alano. But I do understand her point. Sana naman tayong mga commenters basahin muna lahat bago magtanong "wala pa ba syang offers"?! [6:10PM] or "anong pinaglalaban nito"?! [first comment]
Dito if I will go to police and complain "rape" then mapatunayan na hindi naman pala totoo kulong ako agad to serve lessons to others na siguraduhin mong kapag nag sampa ka ng kasi kasi totoo ang pinaglalabanan mo at hindi para maghiganti lang or ipahiya ang tao or just to create drama or delay other cases na involve ka.
Pampam agad? Ano ba yan, lawakan din ang pag iisip pag may time! Grabe talaga ang mga pinoy mapanghusga! Just know, kayo din huhusgahan ng panginoon! Kaloka!
I admire Kat for speaking up about rape. But akala ko she will, rather, "speak" more about the speculations circulating about her and the alleged rape issue
The problem here in our country is that SEX is not being talked about openly at home. Kapag may tanong ang anak tungkol sa bees and flowers, na-aawkward yung parents. Tendency is, maghanap ng answer yung anak from outside sources (social media, friends or worse... they try it themselves).
Let's start sex education at home. I firmly believe that you can stay a virgin without being naive about sex. And I am still against sex after marriage not because it's what our religion dictates, but because I think it shows how a woman respects herself, her body and her soon to be husband. Same goes with men.
if this is her advocacy then good at least she is doing something worthwhile about the article informative but madaming paulit-ulit na elements na she could have just gotten to the point and this article will be cut in half second, the thing kasi ms kat if you were sexually abuse there is no excuse for that i agree kaya nga we have a law kahit married kayo basta walang consent bawal yan sa batas you are right din with the stigma and yun ang dapat natin matutunang harapin. but not all who cried r ape have been raped. Dapat kasi if you have survived that horrific ordeal go to a medico-legal to get yourself examined and report it to the police hindi sa social media or sa media mismo. mahirap din kasi ginagamit ng iba ganitong pagkakataon para makapangblack mail sa iba.
OK so rape victims should not be ashamed and feel responsible for what happened to them. That society should re-think it's views on rape. I get that. I also understand that she got a lot of flak for her comments before. But ano ba? I agree with previous comment, ano ba pinaglalaban mo? I read this whole article and it's just talking about the rape experiences of other people and how it affected her. So what?? Eh ano ngayon?? This article leaves more questions than answers. It doesn't say why she got interested in talking to the victims in the first place. She's also implying that majority of younger children are sexually active. Please hwag mo lahatin. There are many families now as well with educated parents who are openly discussing sex with their children. In a way that the child will comprehend without being condescending, deliberately confusing or too graphic. When there is open communication like this, children understand then that sex isn't something to be ashamed about but neither is it something that they should get into right away. They also learn to respect and take care if their bodies. Really, I blame the parents of that 12 year old kid who wrote to her. There must be something wrong going on in that family. The title says Kat Alano breaks her silence, talaga lang? Hello, she didn't disclose anything we don't already know about herself. I have compassion for rape survivors but her article us just plain misleading.
bakit galit na galit ka? and why expect her to share to the public kung victim siya? she probably has shared it to her family and support group. siguro even to the authorities. i dont get why people expect her to announce what has happened to her to the whole world. ang b lang mag-isip ng mga tao...
She has a point indeed but the case of cedric lee and deniece cornejo is an exception...it was pretty clear that it was staged, thats why she got rude comments when she spoke about rape. Now talking about our culture...it is hard to change what we've been acustomed to. The IRONIC part of her blog is that she wanted to change our culture, she wanted us to be liberated like the western world...this words came from somebody who GREW UP from the other side of the world (western country) ms. Kat alano u are not a full blooded filipina.. u only lived in the philippines for years not all your life thats why its easy for u to say about changing our culture. Dont u realize that people from the WEST are messed up... they give up easily, mentally unstable, rely on meds for depression, divorce rate is high, young people having sex (in their teens) now tell me u want the FILIPINO people to be like that??? I LOVE MY COUNTRY and i dont want it to be like the other "western" countries.
you have a point.. I don't believe in what Kat said na parang dapat tumulad na tayo sa kaisipan ng WEST. I believe in change (sex education inside the family), but not changing the culture. Will changing the culture do any good? I don't think so. Ayos ba ang Amerika? Diba ang daming nagdi-divorce, mas malala ang pagrerebelde ng mga bata, and other things that @anon 12:04 said
i think you should go back and read what she wrote there before putting words in her mouth. Let me break it for you, she never said anything about turning Philippines to America or any other western world , she's only saying whats going on in the country and a way forward. You seems to despise the western life but you wont deny our people are making a living there. Never forget there are so many screwed ups, drunks and addicts too in Philippine just like there are good people too in the western world. Everyone is licence to choose their own destiny in life irrespective of where you come from
wow, her interview was spot on and here you are saying no substance. if you think she's a sawsaw queen, my perception of you is that you are a major prick and a bird brain.
Wow b. I just hope "rape" does not happen to you for you to realize how our culture will bring you down instead of help you. I pity your knowledge on this topic.
She has a point. Tama naman. I pity those people na instead na magets yung point ni Kat, they bash her. She's not about fame, she's concerned to our fellow filipinos. Ok lang kayo? Sya nga di sya pure blooded Filipino yet she cares for our fellowmen, kayo ang nasa isip nyo lang she's "nakikiride lang"? See? Utak talangka talaga. -mx
concern ??? ito lng ang point ko ..kat sana mabasa mo?? are you a rape victim or not? if yes bakit di ka nag demanda or nag report bakit sa media ?ilang taon na ang nakalipas...if not ano? you just supporting rape victims to speak -up??, them why now?? dapat nung may noontime show ka pa nag a-advocate kung talagang gus2 mng tumulong habang napapanood ka mas maraming taong makakarinig sau mas effective ...hindi yun ngaun na wala ka ng career tsaka maraming sinasabi...
The vhong/deneice case should serve as a lesson for all of us.
Fine, may point ka, victims should not be ashamed. Issue din yan sa US.Land of the free na yan ha.
Kahit sa US.
In the P article , it was alleged that sources supposedly said that Kat Alano would file charges against Vhong but backed out. She still is mum on this matter. So many well pointed out viewpoints but what is her case regarding Vhong, if there is any?
By the way, I saw, the FP author himself walking along Greenbelt 5, was too shy and awestruck but I stated at him! Mic Lim smiled , I was so thrilled! Hehe :)
lol.. she is a the 4th victim paid by C but she is trying to make a dramatic and grand entry. This is good tactics, 5th victim of Vhong shoukd learn from her.
Could it be that she is a friend of Deniece and Cedric? Nag post sya before tapos binawi nya tapos ngayon post na naman ulit sya.
She has a point ant it will definitely help yung mga totoong biktima ng rape at di mga bogus rape cases like yung kay Deniece, Roxanne...If her motive for writing this is to influence people na maniwala kina Deniece, sorry but she will fail kase marami pa ring matalinong Pilipino...evidences are written all over their face...
Napanood ko yung sinabi niya sa podcast ni mo, na, something to the effect na "if you want something to happen (success) make it happen." So eto na ang eksena ni ateng. May point naman siya, kaya lang she's alluding to the deniece case na very dubious ang pinaglalaban. Varking at the wrong tree, ate. Please fight for the real victims pag may time. Mukang marami naman.
I don't think that the timing is wrong. Sa totoo lang magaling siya tumiming. Kasi there are prominent people involved in this issue, mainit pa rin hanggang ngayon. It's not just about Deniece and Vhong. This is about those "REAL" victims of rape. The society should look at the bigger picture, sex is still a TABOO in our country, that's why people are sexually harassed, because we cannot talk about and explore such a very powerful topic.
This article wouldve been appropriate of it's in the 90s. Sorry but i feel more people especially women are empowered now than before. It's not a stigma anymore.
I can't believe the people here na negative parin ang sinasabi towards this article. Nothing is negative about this article. She obviously knows a victim personally, and she's doing exactly what she said in the article. Speak up for those who cannot. Hindi naman porket rape Vhong na agad. Bat nyo ba pinipilit irelate kay vhong? Rape has always been and always will be a serious issue. Yung mga tao dito na walang ibang matinong sinabi kundi "papansin" etc, well you know what, you guys are exactly what she's talking about. Dahil wala kayong ginawa kundi manghusga. I know a victim personally and it was traumatazing as fuck. But she never spoke up because of shame and fear from being judged and ridiculed by people like you. Kapag may kapatid, kamag anak o kaibigan kayong na-rape, I bet you'll never call people who speak up against rape whether victim or not "papansin" ever again.
If this Vhong of a guy is really a rapist and people are backing him up then i think his victims should all rely on God, no force in this world is greater than Him. No one can fool God no matter who backs you up . Rape is a lifetime stigma and only victims understand the trauma of being raped so for those making fun of this, i pity you
Anong pinaglalaban nito?
ReplyDeleteShe wants the victims to speak up. Basa basa din :)

DeleteShe has a point.
ReplyDeleteShe does have a point but as they say, you also have to learn to choose your battles. And deniece cornejo's battle wasnt one that was worth fighting for. DeleteI think the right phrase is "can't see the forest for the trees."
DeleteI think she may have experienced an attempted rape.

DeleteI read somewhere that for it should be a STRONG NO esp if there is no threat intimidation.
ReplyDeleteOkay as of the article, I don't think naman na biktima ni Vhong Navarro etong si Kat Alano.
DeletePampam agad? Ano ba yan, lawakan din ang pag iisip pag may time! Grabe talaga ang mga pinoy mapanghusga! Just know, kayo din huhusgahan ng panginoon! Kaloka!
There goes sincerity...
ReplyDeleteI admire Kat for speaking up about rape. But akala ko she will, rather, "speak" more about the speculations circulating about her and the alleged rape issue
ReplyDeleteanother one of VN's victim?
ReplyDeleteshe has to come forward or it will just be another one of those seeking attention
Claps
ReplyDeleteThe problem here in our country is that SEX is not being talked about openly at home. Kapag may tanong ang anak tungkol sa bees and flowers, na-aawkward yung parents. Tendency is, maghanap ng answer yung anak from outside sources (social media, friends or worse... they try it themselves).
ReplyDeleteLet's start sex education at home. I firmly believe that you can stay a virgin without being naive about sex. And I am still against sex after marriage not because it's what our religion dictates, but because I think it shows how a woman respects herself, her body and her soon to be husband. Same goes with men.
Same here :)
DeleteGood point.
Delete* sex before marriage, I mean
Deleteif this is her advocacy then good at least she is doing something worthwhile about the article informative but madaming paulit-ulit na elements na she could have just gotten to the point and this article will be cut in half second, the thing kasi ms kat if you were sexually abuse there is no excuse for that i agree kaya nga we have a law kahit married kayo basta walang consent bawal yan sa batas you are right din with the stigma and yun ang dapat natin matutunang harapin. but not all who cried r
ReplyDeleteape have been raped. Dapat kasi if you have survived that horrific ordeal go to a medico-legal to get yourself examined and report it to the police hindi sa social media or sa media mismo. mahirap din kasi ginagamit ng iba ganitong pagkakataon para makapangblack mail sa iba.
4 words kat.. shut the f***up!
ReplyDeleteSino ka para patahimikin sya? May freedom of expression po tayo.
May freedom of expression po tayo.
DeleteKung mangyari sau yung cnsabi nya.. wag ka sanang ma "shut the f*** up"..
Delete11:30PM wala ka bang kilala na narape ?
Deletehope fully you will never know one so you wont feel the pain and the shame
Did you even read the article?
DeleteNkikiride on lng sa issue.. wala kasing career
DeleteIs this girl a rape victim or just preaching?
ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, what is Kat Alano's connection to te Vhong alleged rape case?
Deletewhy do you want a connection between kat and vhong anyway? cant she just be generic? hay naku, ang mga tao talaga, diyos na si vhong!
Deletebasta papansin lang sya. Dakdak niya dapat noon pa niya ginawa?
DeleteOK so rape victims should not be ashamed and feel responsible for what happened to them.
ReplyDeleteAgree!well said actually mas may sense pa ang comment mo kesa sa article ni kat promise!
Deletebakit galit na galit ka? and why expect her to share to the public kung victim siya? she probably has shared it to her family and support group. siguro even to the authorities. i dont get why people expect her to announce what has happened to her to the whole world. ang b lang mag-isip ng mga tao...
DeleteSige, Kat, its about time. Para wala ng susunod ng biktima.
ReplyDeleteCome to think of it, baka ito ang "totoong" biktima at hindi yang mga kung sino-sinong nagkeclaim!
ReplyDeleteShe has a point indeed but the case of cedric lee and deniece cornejo is an exception...it was pretty clear that it was staged, thats why she got rude comments when she spoke about rape.
ReplyDelete-just a thought-
wow, wag kmg orocan girl, baka pag nabigyan ka ng visa to pemanently stay sa 1 1st world country eh nakalimutan mo na yang pinagsasabi mo.
DeleteVery well said..
Deleteyou have a point.. I don't believe in what Kat said na parang dapat tumulad na tayo sa kaisipan ng WEST. I believe in change (sex education inside the family), but not changing the culture. Will changing the culture do any good? I don't think so. Ayos ba ang Amerika? Diba ang daming nagdi-divorce, mas malala ang pagrerebelde ng mga bata, and other things that @anon 12:04 said
Deletei think you should go back and read what she wrote there before putting words in her mouth. Everyone is licence to choose their own destiny in life irrespective of where you come from
DeleteAno bang pinaglalaban nya????
ReplyDeleteThis article actually makes sense. I hope people actually read this instead of making obnoxious or ignorant comments.
ReplyDeleteKorek!
DeleteKorek, like comment 12:04
DeleteLiberated ka noh?
Deleteexample of "too many words but no substance ".....sawsaw queen...
ReplyDeletewow, her interview was spot on and here you are saying no substance. if you think she's a sawsaw queen, my perception of you is that you are a major prick and a bird brain.
Deletecomment coming straight from an empty brain
DeleteKahit i break mo pa ulo mo, wala kami pakels! Hmp!
ReplyDelete--Pushera
Talking about changing our culture ur not even a full blooded filipina urself!!! Go back to where u belong....
DeleteWow b. I just hope "rape" does not happen to you for you to realize how our culture will bring you down instead of help you. I pity your knowledge on this topic.
Deletefunny enough its the half blooded ones that make the country proud
ReplyDeleteRespect!
ReplyDeleteShe has a point.
-mx
Ang haba, nakakatamad basahin lahat. I like Kat's beauty, though.
ReplyDeletePareho tayo. So anong problema nya?
Deleteconcern ??? ito lng ang point ko ..kat sana mabasa mo?? are you a rape victim or not? if yes bakit di ka nag demanda or nag report bakit sa media ?ilang taon na ang nakalipas...if not ano? you just supporting rape victims to speak -up??, them why now?? dapat nung may noontime show ka pa nag a-advocate kung talagang gus2 mng tumulong habang napapanood ka mas maraming taong makakarinig sau mas effective ...hindi yun ngaun na wala ka ng career tsaka maraming sinasabi...
DeleteThe vhong/deneice case should serve as a lesson for all of us.
I just hope rape victims wont be discouraged because of what is happenning to Deneice.
ReplyDeleteFine, may point ka, victims should not be ashamed. Issue din yan sa US.Land of the free na yan ha.
Kahit sa US.
ReplyDeleteIn the P article , it was alleged that sources supposedly said that Kat Alano would file charges against Vhong but backed out. She still is mum on this matter. So many well pointed out viewpoints but what is her case regarding Vhong, if there is any?
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I saw, the FP author himself walking along Greenbelt 5, was too shy and awestruck but I stated at him! Mic Lim smiled , I was so thrilled! Hehe :)
ReplyDeletelol.. she is a the 4th victim paid by C but she is trying to make a dramatic and grand entry. This is good tactics, 5th victim of Vhong shoukd learn from her.
DeleteAng lay-out at anggulo ng pics pang ad!. Anong agenda?
DeleteParang may pinopromote.
DeleteI completely agree with the article.. NO means NO.. ikulong ang mga rapists, pedophiles, etc..
ReplyDeletekaya lang at the same time, makes me think why now?? Especially after her post sa Twitter..
Tell that to your friend whose intricate lies insult REAL RAPE VICTIMS.
ReplyDeletespot on!
Could it be that she is a friend of Deniece and Cedric? Nag post sya before tapos binawi nya tapos ngayon post na naman ulit sya.
ReplyDeletethis is sad, we are posturing an environment where we allow rape, and tolerate rapist. suddenly we are india.
ReplyDeletebigyan na ng jacket yan papansin na yan. halata namang nakikiride lang para mapansin. so what kung may point sya tiniming lang sa issue with Denice
ReplyDeleteGagamitin nanaman ni deniece itong article nI kat for sure
ReplyDeleteShe has a point ant it will definitely help yung mga totoong biktima ng rape at di mga bogus rape cases like yung kay Deniece, Roxanne...If her motive for writing this is to influence people na maniwala kina Deniece, sorry but she will fail kase marami pa ring matalinong Pilipino...evidences are written all over their face...
ReplyDeleteNapanood ko yung sinabi niya sa podcast ni mo, na, something to the effect na "if you want something to happen (success) make it happen." So eto na ang eksena ni ateng. May point naman siya, kaya lang she's alluding to the deniece case na very dubious ang pinaglalaban. Varking at the wrong tree, ate. Please fight for the real victims pag may time. Mukang marami naman.
ReplyDeleteWALA YATANG PUMANSIN SA NAUNA NYANG OPINION WAY BACK... kaya ayan, inulit nya with more elaboration...nagpapapansin nga, hehehehhh...
ReplyDeleteGustong sumikat pra maging well-known s buong Pilipinas...pbigyan! push mo yan teeh..lolz
DeleteI don't think that the timing is wrong.
ReplyDeleteSiguro binayaran din yan ni C
ReplyDeleteNa gahasa ba siya ni "Kuya" ?
ReplyDeleteThis article wouldve been appropriate of it's in the 90s. Sorry but i feel more people especially women are empowered now than before. It's not a stigma anymore.
ReplyDeleteThat's where you are wrong
ReplyDeletehay naku! papampam lang. gusto magkaron ng career. another famew**** in the making na nman...
ReplyDeletethank you sa Fashion Pulis napag-usapan si Kat Alano...next time interviews then guestings....smart girl ..gamitan lng yan
ReplyDeleteDa who? Looks like another frustrated pathetic girl.
ReplyDeleteAttention seeker !!!
ReplyDeleteIf this Vhong of a guy is really a rapist and people are backing him up then i think his victims should all rely on God, no force in this world is greater than Him. No one can fool God no matter who backs you up . Rape is a lifetime stigma and only victims understand the trauma of being raped so for those making fun of this, i pity you
ReplyDeleteTanong lng..bakit b cya tinanggal dati s wowowee? baka meron cyang ndi pinagbigyan? kaya cguro meron cyang pinaghuhugutan about s rape?
ReplyDeleteInfairness ganda niya! Parang Mila Kunis ang beauty
ReplyDelete
