Not Quite Palatable

Veteran Singer VS’ early life was peppered with drama and tears. Coming from a dysfunctional family, she had no childhood to speak of as she was thrust into marriage early on. Some say it was a convenient option for someone who was often wanting. But VS was blessed with talent and looks which became her passport to stardom.

Midway in her life, VS made a big decision that impacted very negatively on her and the New Man NM in her life then. It was then that VS thought her career was over. But the good Lord must have something planned for her that she was able to bounce back and made a very successful return.

Years after, when her kids were big enough, a tragic thing happened when the head of the family passed away. Consequently, some problems began to come up. But the professional VS tried to handle it well, as usual. But there was one instance when she probably had it too much that she gave way.

VS was commissioned to perform for a big corporate event. She had a rousing welcome when she was introduced to sing some numbers. But reportedly, while singing, it was obvious that she did not hit the notes right and she was out of tune. The second song was nowhere better as she kept forgetting the lyrics.

VS was so embarrassed and disappointed at herself. But like a true professional, she owned up to her shortcomings. When she was handed her talent fee, VS apologized to the organizer for her blunder and refused to be paid in full and instead just settled for half.

Backstage, she allegedly told a companion that she was having problems sleeping. Turned out, she was indeed having sleepless nights brought about by some legal problems. Reportedly, some of the children of NM have been contesting their share to the properties he left behind.
