I dont know him nor the binibini candidate but I hope he and his fam gets justice soon. Maybe it's time for a stricter law in ph. The reason why crime rate is very low in Saudi is because the punishment for any crime is too hard that people are too afraid to commit anything against its law. While in New Zealand, they dont have a law as strict as Saudi but the people are disciplined, and its country is one of the safest place to live in. Too sad for PH because most of us do not fear the law and do not have discipline. We are not even careful with the words we say, just like the die hard celebrity fantards, "kung makalait at makahusga, wagas! May sinasabi pang sasabuyan ng asido..."
ReplyDeleteAnyway, my condolences. Thanks FP for airing my opinion
DeleteI am horrified about this murder. I am sure Mr. Chua could have had a long, fruitful career as a designer, it is much too sad that it has been cut short. I hope his loved ones find peace and justice.
Not everyone in the philippines.. We, people from davao city, are disciplined at takot sa rules and law... Tapang ng mayor namin eh.. Dedicated kasi mayor namin na paunlarin city namin unlike other mayors na yung position, power and money lang habol kaya nag mayor.. Im not saying na malinis mayor namin.. But he's ways of keeping our city peaceful, organized and disciplined are effective..
Delete5:13PM you nailed it girl!
DeleteAgreed ako sa lahat ng sinabi mo.
At masyado pa tayong balat sibuyas kapag napupuna :(
OMG, may his soul rest in peace.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Anon 5:13 PM, our law in the PH is too lenient or wala lang talagang nag seryoso. Dapat may death sentence talaga sa atin kaso church interfere na walang karapatan ang pumatay but how about the victim, ganon nalang ba? I believe it's time for our government to do something about it at hindi puro kung ano ano ang inuuna, grabe na ang crimes sa atin at nakakatakot na, wala ng pinipiling lugar.
ReplyDeleteI also hope justice will be served to Kenneth Chua. My sincere condolences to his family. May he rest in peace.
Joj
Yes! Our law here is called "pera, pera lng" Mabibilang mo ang mga high profile na nakakulong. Sometime we have nothing to do, but to PRAY for our country - Au
ReplyDeletei hope his murder is not some sort of hate crime. sana may cctv sa shop niya or sa area man lang.
ReplyDeleteHe was murdered inside his house, not his shop
DeleteHe was murdered inside his shop kung saan rin diin sya nakatirang mag-isa, FYI Anon 11:21
DeleteHe was murdered in his atelier. oh di nyo pa din alam?
DeleteGone too soon. :-( RIP, Mr. Kenneth Chua.
ReplyDeleteomg, he's a close friend of my bro. RIP Kenneth.
ReplyDeleteCondolence to his family. RIP, Mr. Chua.
ReplyDeleteI know nothing of him, but base on the picture above, it shows that he's a talented designer. What a waste. RIP.
ReplyDeletenakakalungkot naman ito. his was a violent murder as per media reports. the area of his shop has a lot of pedicabs moving around. wala ba man lang nakapansin? to think, sa makati ito and malapit din lang sa police station.
Also, let us not forget about Kae Davantes. Nakauwi na't lahat, inabduct pa from the front of her own home after sya nakawan. Some deaths will just never make any sense. May they all rest in peace.
DeleteJustice please! RIP Kenneth Chua.
ReplyDeletethat's why im afraid to travel in Manila it is so scary im not no offense but it is the fact. im not saying that the other parts of the country is safe my point is Manila has the highest crime rate in the Phils next to some parts in Mindanao. kaya nga sayang i like pa naman to go there.
