This evening I was briefed by representatives from the UK Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB). They informed me that Inmarsat, the UK company that provided the satellite data which indicated the northern and southern corridors, has been performing further calculations on the data. Using a type of analysis never before used in an investigation of this sort, they have been able to shed more light on MH370’s flight path.
Based on their new analysis, Inmarsat and the AAIB have concluded that MH370 flew along the southern corridor, and that its last position was in the middle of the Indian Ocean, west of Perth.
This is a remote location, far from any possible landing sites. It is therefore with deep sadness and regret that I must inform you that, according to this new data, flight MH370 ended in the southern Indian Ocean.
We will be holding a press conference tomorrow with further details. In the meantime, we wanted to inform you of this new development at the earliest opportunity. We share this information out of a commitment to openness and respect for the families, two principles which have guided this investigation.
So sad.Condelence to families of the passengers and crews.
ReplyDeleteWill the Chinese be as hard towards Malaysians as they have been towards Filipinos? Will they demand apologies from the Malaysians for losing the lives of their citizens?
ReplyDeleteits China's fault why MH370 ended like that. read and analyze all the news... just my opinion
DeleteOmg! This is breaking news and at the same time good news! Thanks god it was found now na.
ReplyDeletecorrection, its not yet found. MY government "concluded"
Deletethe plane itself is not found yet just the pieces seen in the satellite weird lang physical evidence wasn't there when they visited the sight.
Deletesad...
ReplyDeleteOhhh at last nakita na rin at nag land i thought its still in the air
ReplyDeleteLasing lang bro! Hahaha
DeleteStill in the air??? Ganun katagal still in the air ka pa din jan???
Deletenaloka ako dito..still in the air?!! teh..2 weeks nang nawawala yung plane still in the air parin?! so ano un nka pag refuel pa sila somehow on air multiple times?! haha..
DeleteMali kayo hinde nga makita yun aircraft walang evidence.
DeleteWhat a dumb comment. LOL
DeleteRest in peace for those people on board... :(
ReplyDeleteSad ending. Sana may makuha pa sila sa ilalim ng ocean
ReplyDeleteSo sad and ♥ breaking :(
may excuse na cla to stop the search
Condolence to the families.
Masakit Ito para sa kanila pero at least magkaroon na sila ng peace of mind and real time to grieve for their love ones. May the souls of the people, aboard the plane be with thy Lord Almighty. God bless them all.
Sayang
ReplyDeleteThis is really sad. :(
ReplyDeleteSabi nga closure is betta than not knowing.this still heartbreaking tho.prayers to all the families of everyone on that flight.
ReplyDeleteClosure?! Not even a piece of evidence or proof was presented. How can you call it a closure?
DeleteThey have not been able to find the plane nor any wreckage yet. The info given was based on AAIB and Immarsat's calculations on where the plane's last position was. This conclusion was strengthened by the known amount of petroleum the plane had. Putting it all together: last known position + hours the plane has been flying + amount of petroleum that can support the hours of flight = plane crashed in the southern indian ocean.
ReplyDeleteI hope they can find the wreckage. Only then will the families find their closure. Let's all pray for them.
Kaya nga sila nagfocus sa indian ocean lumipat from china ba iyon sa paghahanap. At ngayon nakita na nila ang debris na may mga wooden pallets which they confirmed that the plane was carrying a wooden pallets.
DeleteMuntik na ako kumuha ng calculator.
DeleteBakit nag riring yung mga fones ng passenger according to the family before nung wala pang update kung nasan yung airline? Kaya nga may speculations na baka na hijack. I heard that sa news dati few days after mawala yung mh370. Can anyone clarify or give opinions? Im curious
ReplyDeleteIt's still possible daw na magring sabi ng telecommunication company. They tried to locate thru gps but not accessible.
Deletexperia ata ung phone kaya pwede pa mag-ring
Deletewe all knew that it was with human intervention pag off ng transponder, radar lahat ng communication and the plane was already turned to the west when the co-pilot said all right, good night. Then may another theory baka extremist daw yong pilot kc b4 the flight an unidentified woman called him hindi nila ma trace kc fake ung identification na ibinigay noong bumili sya SIM. Another thing distant relative pala ung pilot ung oppossition leader na ipinakulong bcus of sodomy, may gay palang muslim.
DeleteThis is the saddest news a family of the passengers and crew could ever heard. I even feel the pain upon hearing the news because honestly I prayed na sana nahijack and landed somwhere dahil may chance pa na buhay sila. I just wish it has nothing to do w pilot suicide or sabotage dahil kung ganyan man ay napakasakit isipin.
ReplyDeletethis case is just so weird..muntik na ko maniwala sa mga ibang theory na somehow na nakahanap ng vortex yung plane at dun napunta..traveled into another dimension..hehe lol, while this is a welcome development as hard as it is for the families at least they know na what happened. But questions of how it happened and more importantly WHY it happened still remains. I just hope in the coming days authorities will be able to shed some light about it.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very sad news.
ReplyDeleteCondolences to their families. May the Lord bless you. Stay strong. This is a very sad news. hay
ReplyDeleteI want hard evidence. Wala man lang pics or anything.
ReplyDeleteEdi ikaw po ang sumisid sa ilalim ng 3k++ meters to the floor ng indian ocean. Tsk.
DeleteIf i'm a relative, kailangan ko ng bangkay or any proof bago maniwala.
ReplyDeleteikaw ang sumisid sa 3k+ meters. Balitaan mo kami ah!
DeleteI believe it is alien abduction . -_-
ReplyDeleteno evidence yet
