To the kids credit, he won in a dunking competition in the FIBA under 18s held in Indonesia. So kung overrated manalo sa ganyan edi overrated sya.
At saka bata pa yan marami pang idedevelop sa kanyang skills. Wag mo idamay yung bata kung bitter ka sa waley performance ng UP maroons sa UAAP. xD tska team sport ang bball kahit magaling si Andre hindi lang naman sya ang member nung team ano? Tsk.
To whoever you are, for your information, he was offered a spot in DLSU during his 3rd year pa lang in high school. Actually, a lot big of universities wanted to get him and during those time, he planned to go to DLSU. But, by the end of 2013, a school in California offered him a basketball scholarship there and of course, he grabbed that opportunity. So sorry but I guess you won't be seeing him "trying to prove himself" in UAAP or other collegiate basketball league because, for people like me who don't just post judgmental comments, he has proven more than enough. He is not an "overhyped"player because personally, I think he deserves more than the hype he gets.
