According to Bandera news reporter Alex Brosas, there were rumors that with what she did to the CNN reporter she was suspended for one or two weeks, so that’s the main reason why she is no longer seen on prime time news program TV Patrol.
Bandera reported that a much bigger sanction was given to Korina Sanchez, according to rumors, she is suspended for one year from her radio and news program.
Some netizens reacted that a one year suspension for Korina Sanchez is “too much” for what she has done. Korina Sanchez’ camp continues to deny the suspension issue clarifying that Korina Sanchez was just enjoying her vacation right now.
Based upon the latest statement made by Korina Sanchez on DZMM during an interview, she already planned her vacation long before the super typhoon incident happened in central Visayas provinces.
You can't suspend someone like Korina. Hahampasin ka muna niya ng tsinelas niya before that happens.

ReplyDeleteThe punishment is way too much for her comments against Anderson Cooper. Its talk radio, isn't she allowed to give her own opinion or observation? What happened to freedom of speech? Besides, I applaud her for speaking up against Cooper considering his international celebrity status. I like Korina as a media person. She does her job, and she does it well. As for Abscbn, uou just another viewer if you dont bring Korina back. Not fair. You should pick up a few lessons from Gma for standing by their people when things get rough. Bring Korina back. Now Na!!
ReplyDeleteFreedom of speech? What happened to ethics? She made a comment on something based on a hearsay or based on what someone told her. She has not even seen and heard that AC360 episode when she made the comment. She should have used the word, "allegedly" before she made her comments. That would have made a lot of difference. Malay natin ano bako banas na rin sa kanya mga big bosses and now they found a valid reason to give her a lesson. Mamabear, the network can afford to lose a viewer like you.

DeleteI agree that korina does not deserve this. I personally was listening the day she made the comment and it was really witin the context of her topic that day. Anderson's show on cnn ended at 10 and korina's show started at 10. Somebody told her about ac comments and she had the chance to be the first to react. Personally i felt proud that she reacted to this media personality. Who does he think he is? Si AC ang patola. I watch his talk show and his cnn show and i am not impressed. Dapat objective ang abs cbn huwag naman magpapadala sa comments ng netizens na hindi mo alam kung may pinag aralan or wala dahil nagtatago behind their anonymity. ReplyDeletei doubt it, hindi na rin mapapantayan ang loyalty ng abs kay koring, she might be off the air para lang mag die down ang issue, damage control for both her career and the network. inaantay lang na mamatay ang issue for sure and one year is too much. in one month's time wala na yan, she'll be back.
