Still proud of megan. But I hope Filipinos will not equate fluency in english with intelligence. A person may be eloquent/fluent in english because she is used to speaking english bec. of her environment/race/culture/lifestyle. Look what happen to non english speaking countries, they're progressive. they don't care about english.

I liked her answers, some people may not like the way she answered and she was playing it safe because she has to. When she talked about what change can she do in the philippines said she could start off with something small. Reality is she cant stop the people in the government from corrupting money, fight for gender equality in the middle east. But what she can do is help raise money for charity and help out less fortunate people/ family, it may be small but it will make a big impact in someones life.
I am not against megan young infact i am very much proud of her but really she needs to improve her grammatical construction in her past interviews ganun sya lage. It is not what you say but it is how you say it.
fluent ba talaga siya mag-English? yung hindi nag stutter, yung dire-diretso lang. kasi pag nag-stumble when speaking, usually tina-translate yung tagalog sa english in their head, kaya may 'actually' or kaya 'you know', bec they're still trying to collect their thoughts and formulate their ideas in the process...
i think, Ms. Megan Young is a humble person. Nag-tatagalog nga sya after she was crowned as the new Miss World. Stay humble megan and you will convince more people to support your platform as MW.
she reminds me of jessica alba. this girl is really, really stunning. and based on the comments, i realize how critical we are of each other as filipinos. although i'm not a psychologist, i think this is a reflection of self-hate. indeed, we hate ourselves as filipinos that we project that hate on our fellow citizens.
