Agree with you, anon 1:15. Tsk.
I love Michael Cinco.
Love ur own din pa minsan2x. Balat at ilong nyo pa lng pinoy na. Huwag feelingera. Tsk3x.
Funny. Anubah... filipinos pulling a fellow filipino down. Kaloka kayo.
This only goes to show na hindi naman sinasadya na may mga pinoy designs na halos kagaya ng mga designs ng sikat abroad na designers coz sa tagal ba naman ng fashion industry nagkakapareho talaga ng ideas.
Actually I will not answer if it is an inspiration or imitation, I will however say that this silhouette is very common to Dior. It is actually inspired from the original designs of Christian Dior himself. So it is to say that the Dior fall 2009 design is an update from one of its archives.
Why??
I think neither. Michael Cinco was not even popular at that time. He was based in Dubai still. If you look at the Cinco picture, mukhang nasa hotel lang. Doesn't look like a runway. How would Dior see this design and copy it?
That style of skirt is not really unique. The gown my sister wore for her cotillion in 2006 looks like that. She had it made based on a design she saw in an old wedding magazine.
IMITITATION. Cinco only copies from others.
ReplyDeleteGayang gaya ah.
DeleteHmm. You mean Cinco copied this from Dior? Better check the date/year.

DeleteExactly my point 1:15 kawawa naman mga pinoy designers thriving for support
DeleteAgree with you, anon 1:15. Tsk.
Delete1:15, agree! pag foreign brand, mas binibigyan ng benefit of the doubt??!
Tsk tsk.
DeleteNgayon nman baligtad dior nman ang nanggaya. Boooo!!
ReplyDeleteI love Michael Cinco.
Love ur own din pa minsan2x. Balat at ilong nyo pa lng pinoy na. Huwag feelingera. Tsk3x.
ReplyDeleteNapaka-double standard ng Pinoy. Porke't foreign yung nanggaya, inspiration lang?
ReplyDeleteFunny. Anubah... filipinos pulling a fellow filipino down. Kaloka kayo.
