Poll: What does the President's Abolition of the Pork Barrel Mean to you?

60 comments:

  1. Read between the lines. Di inabolish ang pork barrel. They're just calling it by another name and placing "safeguards" daw. Parang CDF to PDAF lang yan. Politikos will still find a way to circumvent those "safeguards". Maging mapanuri.

    1. Exactly! They cannot and will not totally abolish it. Otherwise mga politicians naman makakalaban niya, at the end of the day he still needs his political clout and keeping the pork barrel (or however they wanna call it) will keep them happy.

    2. He's just changing the name so there would be no public clamor anymore. Badtrip eh noh. I will have my paradise in heaven while they rot in hell

    4. My thoughts exactly.

  4. Abolish? I doubt it.. most probably they would not call it pork barrel and will make a new term for it... let's face it, majority of our politicians run not for the betterment of our country but for personal enrichment.

  5. They'll just call PDAF by another name.

    1. Korek, because the Million rally will give him million embarrassment, too.

  6. Abolish all forms of pork. Congressmen and senators are there to create and pass laws.

    1. Yeah, sure. Just like what happened to customs after the sona. after that grand speech of "saan niyo nakukuha ang kapal ng mukha niyo?", the first resignation tendered (through text nga lang nga) was not accepted.

  11. After understanding every word he said in his speech i think he is not really going to abolish the porkbarrel he is just gonna change the name...Pnot is trying to fool us and we should not allow that to happen...we've been fooled for so long so enough is enough!...sabeh?! Yun na! Paaaaak!

  16. 2007-2009 nangyari ito under GMA administration pa

PNoy was jst trying to put remedy on it but the only solution is

    ReplyDelete
  17. If the pork barrel will be abolished the money will just go into the executive budget which is under the control of our President. We may be safe by Pnoy's administration but what about the succeeding President?

    1. bingo! buti n lang nagiisip ka. eto yung magigiing scenorio pag na abolish ang pdaf, we are putting so much power in one person. he will be so powerful that may cause every politician wanted to kiss his ass.

      Delete
  18. It is not TOTAL ABOLITION! It is just renaming and a few modifications! Unfair!!!! Scrap it now please! Maawa kayo sa mga kababayan nating naghihirap!

    ReplyDelete
  19. If what PNoy said is too good to be true, IT PROBABLY IS. same old, same old...

    ReplyDelete
  20. for me indi naman pede totally m scrap kc ano naman magiging budget ng area nyo kung wala nito. tama dn si lani pero mali ng pag kakasabi

    ReplyDelete
  21. Even if they go ahead and totally scrap it, it will not mean anything to me for as long as nasa puwesto ang gahamang pulitiko, they will find a way para mangupit sa kaban ng bayan.

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  24. At least they're doing something.i have faith in Pnoy.

    2. Manong, pork barrel ho

  25. Nothing. It doesn't mean anything. The politicos are there for the money. That is why they run for office. Did you really think that they wanted to serve the Filipino people that is why they run for office? Nope! It's the money they kurakot that's why. And the other comments are correct. Politicos will find ways to circumvent these "safeguards" to make kurakot. Poor Filipinos....that is one reason why binabaha kayo every freaking year!!! The money that could be use to fix your drainage system are in the pockets of these godawful politicos. In the words of Nikki (from Be Careful with my Heart)...G-R-R-R-R-R-R!!!!

  26. PORK by any other name is still BABOY! suntok sa buwan 'yan sa buhay politics!

    ReplyDelete
  27. same pa rin daw yun, pinalitan lang ng name, pero it's still pork barrel. kaya sugod pa rin sa luneta on monday, aug.26

    ReplyDelete

    ReplyDelete
  30. THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO CALM THE PEOPLE DOWN. YES PNOY MIGHT BE AN HONEST AND TRUTHFUL PRESIDENT BUT HE IS NOT THE ONLY ONE RUNNING THIS COUNTRY. THEY ARE NOT GOING TO HIRE PRESIDENTIAL ADVISERS FOR NOTHING.

WE ARE NOT GOING TO VOTE FOR OUR SENATORS AND THE REST OF THE FOLKS RUNNING FOR THE DIFFERENT POLITICAL POSITIONS FOR NOTHING.

I AM NOT BEING BITTER NOR PESSIMISTIC ABOUT THIS ISSUE, THOUGH I SEEM TO BE VERY LIKE ONE HEHEHE. I AM JUST BEING REALISTIC, UTOPIA DOESN'T EXIST AND THAT IS WHAT EVERY FILIPINO SHOULD PUT IN MIND.

    ReplyDelete
  31. JUST LIKE WHAT ONE FILIPINO ECONOMIST OR WHATEVER SHE IS HAVE SAID:

" ANG LECHON, GAWIN MO MANG TAPA YAN O ADOBO(IF I'M NOT MISTAKEN) PORK PA RIN YAN."

    ReplyDelete
  32. Yup malabo ang pag abolish jan.. ang kelangan lng tlga is transparency sa liquidations nyan.. i dont think ipu-push ng media un.. minsan pag ganito bigla nlng nwawala ang issue.. like kay Ms Lani... tsk...

    ReplyDelete
