Popularity
and power are synonymous. In showbiz, most especially, it's what
drives most celebrity wannabes to strive harder, apart from getting
their hands on shimmering pots of gold. And why wouldn't anybody yearn
for power? One can have and enjoy perks even without asking, or get away
with any mischief, big or small.
It seems that such is the line of thinking of a certain Brawny Mannequin BM. A beautiful import from South America, he and his kind were initially frowned upon by their local counterparts for their unwanted "invasion" of the industry. However, the tides have somewhat calmed recently as both parties have learned to coexist harmoniously. After all, the masses have also grown to embrace these statuesque half-breeds and their alleged cute broken English and Tagalog.
Now there wouldn't be any problem if BM and his tribe would reciprocate the hospitality and warmth given to them by the locals. On the surface, it may appear that BM does just that, constantly expressing in his social media accounts how much love, respect and gratitude he has for this country and its people. But a recent incident in a hot tourist spot best known for its beaches has proven all those sweet-talk to be contradictory.
BM attended a party with his friends a few hours before his flight back into the city. After much drinking and dancing, they got seriously baked. Everything seemed under control until he got to the airport, and sluggishly went through the checkpoint to the disapproving security personnels. BM was very quick to intimidate the security before they could say or do anything. Boarding the plane, the mischievous BM flashed his puppy-dog eyes to the obviously-smitten flight attendant, coquettishly making excuses for his rain-soaked ticket. He didn't stop his antics there, for upon getting in the plane, he gave the security personnels annoying gestures of arrogance, having one-upped them. BM was giggling the whole time.
We now wonder where all the love and respect BM claims to have for the Filipinos people had gone. If he was any wiser, he'd drop his princely attitude the next time around, lest he crosses the line with the authorities, exit the catwalk for good and board the plane to head home.

Ganyan ang mga Pinoy eh. Pag nakakita ng foreigner, tiklop kaagad. Tsk tsk, no wonder other races put Pinoys down.
ReplyDeleteHe was even allowed to board the plane kahit na ganun ang state niya? Major security issue!
Trulets! During meetings usually headed by foreigners, pag tinanong kung may concern or question, laging "none" ang sagot.
DeleteSure aketch KaH yan. Ang babastos talaga nila kahit kelan!
DeleteTalaga lang 12:26 AM, kaya pala 70% ng mga issue na nilalathala ni FP eh kaF stars (i.e., si Jaw-dropping Time).
Delete1:29, move on na. Dami mo na sigurong wrinkles.
DeleteAgree 12:26.
DeleteFeeling!

ReplyDeleteLashing ka din? Hindi P imports to DUH!
DeleteThe guy is drunk. Give him a break.
ReplyDeleteWhy drink if you have a plane to catch?
DeleteThe people working on the plane are just doing their job. Give THEM a break.
Deleteteh iba ang drunk sa BAKED. jusko.
DeleteWhaaaaat? And that is an excuse? You are insane. For shame. If he did that to foreign airlines he would have been escorted out of the plane and the terminal.
DeleteI..crush ko pa naman sya dati when he was a part of a defunct show sa ka-H
ReplyDeleteNot D. That one is really nice. This is F..

ReplyDeleteHalf ... ;) hope it's not true though... he seems nice.
ReplyDeleteF. I dont like him. I like D more. Hmpf.

ReplyDeletei agreeeee!
DeleteInitials in the title! Kakainis naman, cute pa naman sya. Eh sa ganyan pala ugali. Hay!
ReplyDeleteLaOcean Deep. Ambilis! Biglang angat biglang bagsak din.
ReplyDeleteI've tried it (super drunk and rode a plane). Puked in the lavatory. Twas fun, try it. :)
ReplyDeleteCome on... Cut him some slack. Everyone deserves to be a badass sometimes. Save your anger to the greedy politicians who stole billions. :)
D is nice. Uber nice. So I don't thinks its him.
ReplyDeleteFilipinos suffer from inferiority complex. They don't mind being abused and insulted by foreigners.
ReplyDeleteI don't find him that attractive. He looks like an old man.
ReplyDeleteHe needs to be thrown out of the country.
ReplyDeleteWhy are they allowed to work her?
ReplyDeleteoopps here not her.
ReplyDeleteSounds like panday.
ReplyDeleteis he g*y? sino si K at P?
DeleteWhy should it be about him being a foreigner and us being hospitable?
ReplyDeletehindi naman yung pagiging foreigner nya ang pinipintasan sa kanya eh but his attitude considering that he's not from here, tama ba na magmaangas sya knowing he was in the wrong and then being smug about it because he knew he could get away with it, it was simply to point out that he lacked respect toward others especially yo authority, and btw, how else would you like the bi to describe him when he really is a foreigner?
DeleteF-why he loves everything Pinoy, from show biz to B TSK!!!
ReplyDeleteHe is said to be C's look-a-like
ReplyDeleteI met BM at an event and he was nice naman.

ReplyDeleteThis is F! Drab pala the attitude. Dislike.
ReplyDeletesya n nga ung pnakawlang appeal sya p maangas!
ReplyDeletelooks like the D found her male counterpart, hahaha. Si F nga.
ReplyDeletef lang pala pag nasa tv.
ReplyDeleteF?
ReplyDeleteKatunog ng pangalan ni P?
ReplyDeleteThis is F
ReplyDeleteF is that you?
ReplyDeleteHayyyyyy!sino kayang F to?
ReplyDeleteThere is only one B"spoiled food" w/ that initial.... I deport na yan!
ReplyDeleteI don't think this is a case of discrimination. It's a case of BM being a true a$$hole.
