I think she graduated sa isang magandang high school. Ang naaalala ko din was that nanghihinayang ang classmates nya that she decided not to go to college to go into showbiz kasi she was very smart daw. At the time siya lang kasi ang artista and in a way was helping the family out.

You're right it's not. But King's Cross College is still a highly trusted school according to UKBA. And if you're only here (in the UK) for the summer, keri na yan. and it's located near Central London whereas Oxford and Cambridge are an hour and a half away from London. Just my two cents. :)
Ok...so King's College, London actually has some sort of prestige. Di ka-level ng Harvard, Oxford, etc pero it is a pretigious university nevertheless pero DUH kelangan ba talagang i-broadcast yan? Kulang sa pansin te? Anyone with a good TOEFL score and with money can get in that freaking SUMMER SCHOOL course.

King's College is without doubt one of the top universities in the UK and the World. As part of the University of London system, it can hold its own when placed side by side with other universities. As someone who's currently applying for it myself (the Master's program and not just summer school), I can say that the summer school's admissions program is a lot easier to get into.
If you want proof, here's my application number: 1346693.
Degree Program is: Geopolitics, Territory, and Security
Mister/Miss 12:21. The degree program I applied for is a more specialized branch of the International Relations/International Political Economy academic discipline and yes all these institutions (both the legitimate and mercenary ones) would be framed vis-a-vis the global historico-politico-economic context.

Total hogwash. It is just a summer school for one course. Anybody can apply there if you have the money for the fee. It is not a big deal like she wants people to believe.

This is just a crash course in their summer semester, na kahit sinong mag-apply would likely be accepted as long as you can afford the tuition, coz schools/universities need to make money too. I would really salute her if she got herself in a bachelor degree program or even in a associate program. I know this bcoz I'm studying abroad.

Marami sa UK especially sa London ang nag eenroll sa school pero nagwwork lang dun. Isa kasi itong sa pinakamadaling paraan to get a UK visa. Kumbaga cover lang ito for their real intentions, pinoy, thai, chinese, etc. marami ang ganito ang gngawa dun at karamihan matagal na dun. 4 years back if I am not mistaken, meron pinoy na babae ang natanong ng isang news team at sinabi nya she is currently enrolled pero she was in work then, sablay. At 2011 din nung magtaas ng requirement si PM Gordon Brown sa mga nag aaply na student sa UK. Gnagawa nga raw itong pases para magtarbaho at hindi para mag-aral. Isa ang kakilala ko ang hindi nakatuloy dahil sa paghihigpit na to. Pero still isa pa rin ito sa paraan para makapagtagal sa UK at i-allow magwork, dahil nga student ka me right ka magpart-time job.

Better school yon. just not sure kung postgrad studies lng doon. i recall si melanie marquez nagaral doon and got good marks, pero pls correct me if im wrong. sana din kumuha si ruffa ng proper full course or degree course, at least 2 yr course, hindi weeks or months lng. Parang nagpretend lng e.

ReplyDeleteThis is just a crash course in their summer semester, na kahit sinong mag-apply would likely be accepted as long as you can afford the tuition, coz schools/universities need to make money too. I would really salute her if she got herself in a bachelor degree program or even in a associate program. I know this bcoz I'm studying abroad.

ang weird ng acceptance letter..it should have a logo of the uni with a signature from the dean, it is a formal letter, and in pdf or original for visa processing (that is if she will apply for a student or training visa)..it looks like it is from an email or something..or she wrote it in Word..wla, weird lng..
ReplyDeleteKung nabigo man c mudra sa mundo ng pulitika baka c Ruffi ang susunod na sasabak d2. Matututukan naman niya ang aling man pusisyon gawa wala na naman pagsasabaying career. Sa ganda ng school na napili niya malamang sa Senate o Congress ang papasukin niya. Ang tanong baka matulad rin lang cya kay mudra, baka d rin cya manalo.

DeleteMarami sa UK especially sa London ang nag eenroll sa school pero nagwwork lang dun. Isa kasi itong sa pinakamadaling paraan to get a UK visa. Kumbaga cover lang ito for their real intentions, pinoy, thai, chinese, etc. marami ang ganito ang gngawa dun at karamihan matagal na dun. 4 years back if I am not mistaken, meron pinoy na babae ang natanong ng isang news team at sinabi nya she is currently enrolled pero she was in work then, sablay. At 2011 din nung magtaas ng requirement si PM Gordon Brown sa mga nag aaply na student sa UK. Gnagawa nga raw itong pases para magtarbaho at hindi para mag-aral. Isa ang kakilala ko ang hindi nakatuloy dahil sa paghihigpit na to. Pero still isa pa rin ito sa paraan para makapagtagal sa UK at i-allow magwork, dahil nga student ka me right ka magpart-time job.
