Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes Get Married

MANILA – Celebrity couple Richard Poon and Maricar Reyes tied the knot on Sunday.
Among those who attended the wedding were Nikki Gil, Billy Crawford, Nikki Valdez, Christian Bautista and ABS-CBN executives Johnny Manahan, Cory Vidanes and Linggit Tan.

A photo from the wedding was also posted in the official Instagram account of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic.

ABS-CBN producer Garlic Garcia was also at the event who posted parts of the vows of Poon and Reyes real-time on Twitter.

The 31-year-old "ASAP" mainstay confirmed his engagement to Reyes in April.

In an interview last month, Poon also said they are planning to have a small private wedding this year.

Poon had also said they want to invite only their family and closest friends in their wedding in Manila.

It was in 2010 when Poon admitted that he is going out with Reyes.

    Ganda ni Maricar grabe..and I love her wedding gown..super classy.. Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Richard Poon! Sobrang happy ako para sa kanilang dalawa. I find their love story very inspiring.

    good for them. i just hope that richard's family's not the typical chinese family here in the Philippines that when maltreat non-chinese family members. marami kasing chinese na hindi maganda ang trato sa asawa ng anak o kapatid nila eh.

      I agree, it's cray the way they treat filipinos when in fact they are no different coz they reside and pretty much took in the culture already, fil~chi people try so hard to label themselves apart from filipinos the irony is when they go to China and hang out with the chinese people there they can't relate.
      I'm half chinese but I consider myself more filipino coz I grew up there.

      to anonymous june 10 @ 12:17, i agree with you. may mga traditional na may discrimination parin lalo na sa older generations, pero i also have a lot of fil-chi friends na mababait, sila pa una gumagawa ng relief operations tuwing may disasters, helping the informal settlers, etc. and yung mga kasambahay and driver nila sa kanila na talaga tumanda, pati mga anak pinag-aral pa sa mga good schools. i guess sa lahat ng "cultures/race" may mga good and bad people.

      Another point is that Maricar had some sextape issue before, and the typical "chinese" people who live in the Philippines (which I consider filipinos already) are pa~conservative I hope they don't give her a hard time just coz of that like seriously wag na sila magmalinis coz everybody does sex the only difference with Maricar is that it was recorded for the whole world to see, I mean cmon! Who wouldn't bang Hayden Kho? Lol he's a hottie!

      Richard Poons is pure chinese born in the phils. The mother is taiwanese the father is from hongkong no Filipino blood at all

      I do understand that Richard Poon's ethnicity is Chinese but he pretty much spent his time in the Philippines which makes part of him a Filipino not by blood but by culture.
      It's like this a chinese born and raised in the u.s. will pretty much refer to himself as an "american". You get my point?
      The only reason that these "chinese" people who live in the Philippines try to distinguish themselves above Filipinos is that coz let's face it they think that the Philippines is a shitland.
      Don't get me wrong I am half chinese and half filipino. I was born in America, but raised in the Philippines so I consider myself a Filipino by culture.

      @10:47 try also to research how some of this chinese people who live in the philippines treat their Filipino laborers like trash making them look like a slave in their own country. if a person is adapting the culture of a country where he is living he must also respect the people like how Filipinos respect Americans when they are in America or China
