duh, if it was Great Gatsby inspired, she shouldn't have had her hair like that. It should have been up and sleek. So, if people call her Pocahontas instead, that's because that's how she looks.

Kinda drab. The dress alone would've been fine. I actually like it. It's art deco-inspired. What went wrong here is the styling. Wrong shoes and odd head band (which would be okay if she had the 1920s bob haircut). She looks like she tried too hard. She should've just left her hair as it is, without the band. She does look like a nouveau riche Pocahontas here.
you're right about the styling, but i still don't get the dress.clearly art deco, which should have emphasized or made illusions of height through the usual pillar-like designs. The dress would have looked better floor-length. Chopping it mid-length with the fringe makes it ugly. That, plus the headband, gave her two chopped ends.
