Pwede palang maging teacher ng English language si Ms. Ramos! Pero pinagpipilitan ni ex na gynecology ang Master Degree nya! Diumano! According to! Allegedly! Alagad ng binalewalang batas!
Gang ngayon pareho pa din sila ng ex nya ng bio message sa twitter. Graphic-Logical andun pa din talaga ung feelings hanggat di pinapalitan. Patigasan! Ho-hummmmm......
Ang plural form ng 'fish' ay 'fish' pa rin, if you are referring to just one kind of fish. Ang 'fishes' ginagamit pag iba-ibang variety ng isda. Pareho lang po tama ang usage ng 'fish' at 'fishes' na plural form. Pag maraming tilapia, 'fish' lang pero pag tilapia at bangus 'fishes' na.
Plural of fish is just fish whether or not you are referring to more than one kind of fish. kung iba't ibang klase ng fish, you add types of, varieties of, different kinds of,... you get the drill. School of fish naman is used when they're swimming as a group and not pag nakalatag sila sa palengke. okies?
ang niece ko na grade 1 corrected me nung sinabi kung look at those fishes... sabi nya, wrong po kau... should be "school of fish". pahiya ako. we get used to saying or hearing fishes, but it doesn't mean we always hear it, it's grammatically correct. infairview, atleast me natutunan tau other than chismax here. :)
fishes Fish does have a regular plural form, but it differs in meaning from the unmarked plural; fishes refers to several species or other taxonomic types, while fish (plural) is used to describe multiple individual animals: one would say "the order of fishes," but "five fish in an aquarium."
Fish as plural form refers to one kind of fish. Fishes as plural form refer to different kinds of fishes. School of fishes is the collective name for group of fish that swim together.
I actually admire her for this. Sometimes you really have to forget that you are a public figure and stand up for yourself. You just can't let these people bring you down without a good fight. Pero I some artists would do it in a classy way. Some kasi, especially the women, forget that they're women and go all out tactless. Rhian handled the situation properly! Brava!
Yan mahirap sa mga tao pag ang mga bashers ok lng sabhan ka ng mga harsh words pero pag ang artista na napuno at nakapagsalita ng di maganda akala mo krimen na ang nagawa nila
Kung limang tilapia for example - fish ang english nun. Pero kung tilapia, bangus, hito - fishes ang collective term sa kanila. So pag same specie - 5 fish. Kung different species - fishes.
Tama yung school of fish, at tama din yung fishes (para nga sa iba-ibang uri ng isda). Yung mga walang tiwala, check nyo ang dictionary nyo or dictionary.com para sa plural ng fish. Sige na, para matahimik na tayong lahat dito. Please lang.
The plural of fish is usually fish, but fishes has a few uses. In biology, for instance, fishes is used to refer to multiple species of fish. For example, if you say you saw four fish when scuba diving, that means you saw four individual fish, but if you say you saw four fishes, we might infer that you saw an undetermined number of fish of four different species.---google google lang pag may time.
2-piece chicken is correct. "2-piece" is used as adjective. The same with "My five-year old daughter. Ibang story naman kapag sinabing "2 pieces of chicken" or "My daughter is five years old"
Only in the Philippines...pag nagkamali ng grammar ..big deal na ...sa ibang bansa ... As long as naiintindihan ka deadma na.. Dami kasing feelingero sa pinas..pag magaling ka sa ingles..feeling nila nasa taas na sila

Hanggat naiintindihan ka kahit balu baliktot pa ang dila mo sa kakaingles ..ok lang yun! At least nag try sila..hindi naman natin first language ang english bakit kailangan perpekto? ..
wrong. may plural ang fish. you can say fishes. if you mean plural of the same type of fish, it's fish. if you mean plural of different kinds of fish, you say fishes.
Fish and fishes. Both are acceptable. Sa UK ang plural ng fish ay fish pag US English fishes. Pero sabi nila mas acceptable ang UK kasi sila ang original English

I celebrated my first Mother's Day last Sunday, it was my first after 8 years of trying to conceive. It was my first after 4 years of fertility injection, ectopic pregnancy, 5 failed IUIs, vanishing twin (sorry readers if this is too much information). The celebration was my happiest celebration, way better than Christmas, my Birthday and even my Wedding (oops, sorry daddy). That being said, committing what she did is unforgivable for me and it's indeed a mortal sin. Rhian, maraming tao and hindi marunong gumamit ng tamang panuntunan sa grammar ngunit yan ay isang kamalian na hindi nangangailangan ng kapatawaran at nakaka bagabag ng konsensiya.
