1. how sure are you that people who voted for erap are actually expecting "different results"? baka naman wala lang ibang choice and they perceive him as lesser evil compared to lim..
2. i dont think jake is hating. just like georgina, the guy is pretty much sending a wake up call on people to stop branding people who think differently from them as idiots. what may be important to one may not hold the same importance to another... after all, different strokes for different folks
3. democracy is a double-edge sword. unfortunately, participative decision-making will never guarantee that the person we elect would always be right for the job. parang love lang, mr. perfect is not always mr. right. and political dynasty, often categorized as "bad," is just a normal knee-jerk consequence of democracy.
4. kung titignan, politics is just like any career, and dynasties can be seen as "branding." parang ganto lang yan, ung dentist ko ngayon is anak ng dentist ng dad ko. i go to him kasi kilala ko na (kababata ko) at magaling naman. o kaya naman, parang mga ayala sa business. the given scenarios illustrate why we end up electing members of dynasties into various positions.
5. dynasties are neither good nor evil. depende na sa performance yan ng tao. developed countries such as japan and the us also have prominent political families (clintons, bushes, koizumis, hatoyamas ) pero hardly do we frown on them nor do we call them pol dynasties. ang difference natin sa dalawang bansa is mas politically mature sila kesa sa atin.
6. to prove that not all dynasties are bad, jesse robredo is actually a member of the villafuerte clan in camsur. his uncle luis villafuerte asked him to run against a roco in the 1990's to preserve their family's clout in their turf. pero we all know that robredo didnt end up like a trapo.
7. it is weird na kaya natin ayaw ng poldynasties kasi hindi na fair ang playing field kasi laging sila-sila na lang ung nagpapalitan kapag eleksyon... nalilimit ang public participation to be elected. pero kung titignan, kaya may dynasties kasi pinili sila ng mga tao. so there goes democracy and inclusive participative governance for you.
suportado din kasi si erap ng mga chinese, tingnan nyo after maupo yan lalong dadami mga chinese dito sa maynila. yung boss ko chinese isa xa sa tumutulong kay erap para manalo, at xempre may kapalit yun! lam na!

2. i dont think jake is hating. just like georgina, the guy is pretty much sending a wake up call on people to stop branding people who think differently from them as idiots. what may be important to one may not hold the same importance to another... after all, different strokes for different folks
3. democracy is a double-edge sword. unfortunately, participative decision-making will never guarantee that the person we elect would always be right for the job. parang love lang, mr. perfect is not always mr. right. and political dynasty, often categorized as "bad," is just a normal knee-jerk consequence of democracy.
4. kung titignan, politics is just like any career, and dynasties can be seen as "branding." parang ganto lang yan, ung dentist ko ngayon is anak ng dentist ng dad ko. i go to him kasi kilala ko na (kababata ko) at magaling naman. o kaya naman, parang mga ayala sa business. the given scenarios illustrate why we end up electing members of dynasties into various positions.
5. dynasties are neither good nor evil. depende na sa performance yan ng tao. developed countries such as japan and the us also have prominent political families (clintons, bushes, koizumis, hatoyamas ) pero hardly do we frown on them nor do we call them pol dynasties. ang difference natin sa dalawang bansa is mas politically mature sila kesa sa atin.
6. to prove that not all dynasties are bad, jesse robredo is actually a member of the villafuerte clan in camsur. his uncle luis villafuerte asked him to run against a roco in the 1990's to preserve their family's clout in their turf. pero we all know that robredo didnt end up like a trapo.
7. it is weird na kaya natin ayaw ng poldynasties kasi hindi na fair ang playing field kasi laging sila-sila na lang ung nagpapalitan kapag eleksyon... nalilimit ang public participation to be elected. pero kung titignan, kaya may dynasties kasi pinili sila ng mga tao. so there goes democracy and inclusive participative governance for you.

Remember guys, they did not open the 2nd envelope na proof "kuno" and even though hindi nila inopen, guilty ang judgment. It's the same with Corona, mahina ang laban against Corona, pero guilty sya. Even Mirian Santiago voted not guilty kay Corona, dahil alam nya kung ano ang tamang proceedings sa court. Trial by publicity kasi ang ginawa. Actually, during Erap's time tumigil ang gera sa Mindanao, plus prices of goods are affordable.

He trusted wrong people but if ever he did something wrong, I don't think it's as bad as his successor, it was just overhyped and blown out of proportion by the media.
