I think she comes from an affluent family. That's why they are aristoctrata. Diaz clan was a well known family during the early years not just because of their beauty, but i guess they also have a say in the society. they were not super rich but they were not poor either. But they have the means.

she is still pretty its just she's too pale and her eyes aren't as .............. emphasized or maybe is it because she's smiling? but still pretty. very Caucasian looking though.
