    1. yes, it could be that the one with the faster speed has a tower that's nearer. In another area it might fail the test.

    2. so true.. it really depends on the area... whereas here, if i try the Smart LTE vs. Globe LTE, smart will suck bigtime... so it would be bias if we will just refer to the attached image...

  3. globe has a lot of catching up pa ... kahit saan area yan smart really delivered the goods...

  5. 32 MBPS? Ang bagal talaga ng LTE speed sa Pinas. Sa US umaabot hanggang 1200 Mbps ang LTE.

    2. Anon 10:03 AM, 3:02 is just saying how it is. Eh talaga namang superbagal ang internet sa Pinas compared to other countries.

    3. @10:03AM, I don't think na nagyayabang si 3:02AM. Pero shouldn't we be more demanding of services that we're paying for? Hindi na dapat pwede ang "Pwede na" mentality.

    4. Anon 3:02, I'm pretty sure yabang lang yan. 1200 Mbps your face. Wala pa ngang umaabot ng 50Mbps no. Even in countries such as Australia, which is well, FOUR times faster than USA on speed tests.

  8. What a load of crap! That's not even LTE speed that's just HSPA+ speed.

What telco in the Phils. would really give ordinary consumers faster internet, efficient service and more productivity?

If they do that it would mean less money and more expenditures for them.

    1. When I was in Manila last year, I was really dismayed at the slow speed internet has over there. It took me a while just to upload a video to my FB. There's NO real LTE over there.

  9. It should be done at the same time, same area sana. At yong settings ng dalawang phone dapat pareho din.

  11. I wonder why a lot of my friends complain about Globe. Ako kasi, I am a subscriber of both networks and yung Smart, hindi maganda experience ko so far. Prepaid siya though so I am not sure if the quality of the connection/service is different kapag prepaid. That's not to say na yung Globe ay perfect because the reason why I got a Smart number in the first place is to serve as back-up when Globe does not deliver. For one, ang bagal ng 3G ng Smart as compared sa Globe na mas mabilis. Well personal experience. I apologize if I digressed sa topic ng post. :)

  12. Globe is using crappy Chinese equipment.

  13. To elaborate on the comments about "depende sa location" (which is true)...

If any of you noticed, the Globe signal is only 2 bars while the Smart is full. No matter what type of connection(3G, 3.5G/H, 3.75G/H+, 4G/LTE), weaker signal means slower connection. That is pretty basic analysis I suppose. So Imagine what would the speed be if Globe is in full signal.
