Mejo nakaka turn off nga lang yung sagot ni Anne regarding sa pagi invite na panoorin ang movie nila. Ang sarcastic. Ito naman si Lo, hindi man lang nag apologize when Anne said it was a very personal question.

well if she feels the person in front of her is not of hollywood caliber, then she should have refused the reporter kasi ayaw nya ng jologs kausap, pero suplada nya ha ayaw mag invite ka turn off!
Ohh emm ! She sounded exhausted.. Which is understandable.. Perhaps of the continuous interview for this movie. She was even laughing but i guess Ricky Lo's questions (well some of it) pissed her off plus he kept on interrupting her. Bad interview Mr Ricky Lo. =|
She was sarcastic, yes, but his interview questions were improper. He might have forgotten that he is interviewing a hollywood actress, and not just any other wannabee. Kahit dito sa Pinas, di ko din gusto yung way nya ng pag iinterview. Kung hindi out of topic, nonesense naman. He should have been more sensitive. He gave A. Hathaway a wrong set of questions, she gave him sarcasm. Fair.

Would she be tactless and rude if the interviewer made sense? I think not. She just gave him what he deserved. Honestly this was very embarrassing and super awkward to watch.

He's unprepared and if he did a little bit of research, he might have read that Anne doesn't want to talk about the weight loss because it's not safe and might cause death.
Yan din naisip ko that's why Anne refused to answer that question, tapos may pagkainsensitive din kasi, nagiinterview ka ng isang artista, yet you ask them about other artists na hindi kasama sa cast and worst, nagportray ng same role, ok lang sana kung nabanggit once, pero paulet-ulet talaga? at naging topic? di nya alam na nakaka-offend na siya, and I understand Anne cause she probably has done hours of interviews for this movie kaya mejo maiksi na ang pasensya nya!
having done a lot of interviews in a day is not an excuse, just like a saleslady who has been standing the whole day in a department store they can't complain cause it's part of their job, i understand when she refuses to answer some of the questions deemed personal but she was a B towards the end refusing to invite moviegoers
i wonder how boy abunda would carry this kind of interview...ricky lo seems so strarstruck and blew it off..twice his questions were dismissed, either its inappropriate or just a repeat of what was asked in the beginning. dont ask stupid questions if you dont want stupid answers...

He started with a weight loss question which a no no for a girl. Then he keeps on talking about lea, who won't get irritated. The focus should be on Anne.

omg! i feel bad for Ricky. We can't blame Anne cuz most of his questions were too personal. It is different in the States compared to Philippines.There are things that can't be asked to the actors unlike here, they will ask everything about your life, in full details. I really just feel bad for the interviewer here. Gosh. There was part in the interview where Anne was still talking and Ricky was already talking about something else. I guess that was reason why Anne acted lil hostile.

P.S.-- The reason why hindi daw sinasagot ni Anne (sa kahit anong interview) yung mga weight loss questions is because ayaw nyang i-glamorize yun pagpapaka-payat nya.. Baka daw kase may mga ibang tao na gayahin yun ginawa nya, and hindi daw yun healthy. Ang shonga shonga lang ni Ricky Lo, dapat ni-research nya yun mga ganung details para di sya nagmumukang tanga. i've seen Ricky many times do interviews of foreign celebrities. when he does the interview the impression i get is he's always starstruck and is always edgy. it's obvious in his body language that he's conscious of his ability to use and speak English. yeah, he can write, but he cannot articulate his words.
OMG nainsulto lang si Anne kasi hindi naman about kay Lea yung interview, dapat nagfocus na lang sa kanya. tuma-Time Giver haha. akala mo kagagaling mag-interview. or mukha kasing pagod sanne din. lol.
Tuma-Time Giver talaga tong si Ricky Lo... Parang hindi nag-research bago nung interview. His first questions on losing weight has been an issue already before na ayaw pag-usapan ni anne. Honestly? She was even delicate and polite in the interview, I don't understand why people say she was being very mean. If she appeared to be, I feel like she has every right to be; Ricky's questions were so offensive from her weight loss (and on how does she attempt to gain it back) to how she 'identifies' to her character Fantine (have you ever experienced being hungry and poor). He was only trying to save it by bringing back Lea in the conversation, but to no avail. Ricky lacked enough research for the interview, especially with the question about Fantine! Anne tried to look not offended about it but even I could feel THAT much offended just by watching the whole video.
wala na ba talagang pwede maginterview? Bakit lagi na lang si Ricky Lo nagiinterview ng mga foreign stars. Hindi lang ang interview na ito ang very awkward, madami pa. Ricky Lo should reassess his interview skills so that it won't be awkward.
starting the interview with Anne's weight loss question was already a major no no and if Ricky 'LOW' did research before asking his senseless questions he would've probably found out that from the start Anne doesn't want to talk about her weight loss in the first place because it will seem that she's promoting it. He deserved only what she did, he was clearly being rude, though unintentionally to her. And really why would you even compare Lea to Anne? Lea is a singer and Anne is an actress who was required to sing because of her role. Ricky 'LOW' makes me cringe! que horror!!
Ricky lo, anne isnt like a Filipino celebrity who gets fans' sympathy by sharing to the whole nation of how poor he/she was before. Maybe anne was poor before but doesnt want to talk about it because its a touchy issue for her. Hasnt that crossed ur mind? And hollywood stars REALLY promote their movies when they ARE promoting their movies.

Kahit dito sa Pinas, di ko din gusto yung way nya ng pag iinterview. Kung hindi out of topic, nonesense naman. He should have been more sensitive. He gave A. ReplyDeleteHonestly? She was even delicate and polite in the interview, I don't understand why people say she was being very mean. If she appeared to be, I feel like she has every right to be; Ricky's questions were so offensive from her weight loss (and on how does she attempt to gain it back) to how she 'identifies' to her character Fantine (have you ever experienced being hungry and poor). He was only trying to save it by bringing back Lea in the conversation, but to no avail. Ricky lacked enough research for the interview, especially with the question about Fantine! Anne tried to look not offended about it but even I could feel THAT much offended just by watching the whole video.

ReplyDeletestarting the interview with Anne's weight loss question was already a major no no and if Ricky 'LOW' did research before asking his senseless questions he would've probably found out that from the start Anne doesn't want to talk about her weight loss in the first place because it will seem that she's promoting it. He deserved only what she did, he was clearly being rude, though unintentionally to her. And really why would you even compare Lea to Anne? Lea is a singer and Anne is an actress who was required to sing because of her role. Ricky 'LOW' makes me cringe! que horror!!

Obviously, it was either a lack of professionalism or preparation on Ricky Lo's part, kaya naging ganyan din ang reaction ni Anne Hathaway.
This should be a wake up call to the Philippine Star, GMA, ABS-CBN and all those media conglomerates not to send ill-prepared interviewers to Big Foreign Press Junkets. Tayo ang napapahiya...

ReplyDeleteHonestly nagmukhang tanga c Ricky Lo, naawa din ako kaya lang parang walang kwenta talaga mga tanong nya tapos mas naintindihan ko pa yung english accent ni anne hathaway kesa sa english nya na parang mineryenda na bawat english words kaloka! Swerte pa din actually sya kase hindi naging bastos c anne, maayos naman ang pagka sarcastic sa bandang huli lol! In fairness di naman binastos c Ricky... Basta naawa ako wag kasing shunga kakaloka talaga!
