The hair is nice. The face though is umm...she looked a lot older in the portrait, and if I were Kate, this is not how I wanna be immortalized compared to other portraits of royalty. Disappointing, to think that this portrait is commissioned.
she looks old in the portrait. as in royal gucci levels. and a little chubby too. kate should order the head of the artist served on a plate for this portrait. didnt do her justice. chaka. chapter. chararat. chos!
There's just something about this type of portrait which to me looks freaky scary!:/ I wouldn't want to hang that type or style of portrait in my living room. It's just like the ones they have in Disneyland in The Haunted Mansion...whereas you'd think her eyes will suddenly glance your way and blink in whichever direction you go. Moreover, right now her mouth is closed while smiling. But as you glance away for a second and take a look at the portrait again, all of a sudden her teeth are showing and smiling at you! Eeeks! Katakot! haha! That's the effect this portrait has on me. Its got "The Haunted Mansion" look! lol.
As the future queen of England she deserves better. The portrait above makes her too old what with how her cheekbones and her dimples were painted. Parang dry lang at withered na. Also, her eyes here makes her look like a contrabida trying to project being nice. Very menacing.
DISLIKE! dapat chugiin ang gumawa nito. ke ganda-gandang babae, inokray sa portrait! i'm sure ang laki ng bayad dyan. e sana kumuha na lang sila sa mga libu-libong pics nya na nagha-highlight ng beauty nya at nilagay sa frame! anobesh! she's so beautiful and has an admirable fashion-sense, much like her late mother-in-law!

according pa sa news hati ang reaction ng mga tao... may napangitan at may same reaction as above reactions....sana lang eh medyo romantic sana ang dating...hindi yung parang na pa daan lang si Kate sa 2x2 / 1x1 picture booth sa may gilid ng farmers mall sa cubao para sa job application
Whilst the noble art of painting is primarily practiced when it comes on the European Royalty and is patronized because of its overtly classical, mysterious and poetic appeal and has been lauded as the "officiating portrait" of every single royal personage in the European aristocratic circles, the painting has not achieved its decadent purpose, instead, it turned out as an eye sore, a blunder of the royal English portraiture and a caricature of sorts. I may not be an art critic, but the way it was executed, ( the direct gaze, and the way the light bounces on her Grace's face and how it slowly dissolves into a confusing effect is a sartorial crap!!!) is the main reason why this painting is such a bland, irrevocably second-rate and cheap............
