Malaki naman ang Alabang. People often confuse Alabang with AYALA Alabang, FYI they're two separate baranggays in Muntinlupa city. Ang AYALA Alabang totoong Posh, although may mga nakatira din dun na mga biglang yaman, or nakapag-asawa ng foreigner or some other means na yumaman sila pero not in the same level as those na "lumang mayaman". I guess what I'm trying to say is, malaki ang alabang, hindi naman nila sinabing taga AYALA Alabang itong dalawang katulong na ito so malay natin kung ano ang totoong representation ng "Alabang" or context sa show na ito.
I read an article that says they're not really from Alabang! Hahaha! They live "just outside" Alabang daw but they could qualify as Alabang housewives!

Ang concept ba nito is like dun sa "real housewives" sa US? I think hindi naman ganun..Parang ang dating nga is yung mga nakapag asawa ng mayaman na PInays e. OK lang na umasta sila na ganyan dahil sa hindi naman sila nagsimula na mayaman na. Wow those people defending this show say something a lot about the Filipino people. If the title implies that they represent "real" housewives of alabang and you like it, then you must want to be like them or you wish your daughter would be too. i have nothing against filipinos who marry or are in a relationship with foreigners but i personally think they should carry themselves in a classier way, and by no means is class being "sosyal". it's already a common notion that most filipino that marries a foreigner is in it for the money, thanks to those mail order brides (to get a green card), but they shouldn't be so crass about it. i agree with Anonymous January 17, 2013 at 12:14 PM, these women should at least show some dignity and not prove the common notion that they are gold diggers. just saying.

Problema ko lang siguro dito is the format - reality shows will not work on a 30-minute, 5x a week timeslot. Mas maigi kung weekend late night na lang 'to. Di bagay yung content for the morning slot (tapos ang kasunod pa is Face to Face at Willie?!)

ReplyDeleteMalaki naman ang Alabang. People often confuse Alabang with AYALA Alabang, FYI they're two separate baranggays in Muntinlupa city. Ang AYALA Alabang totoong Posh, although may mga nakatira din dun na mga biglang yaman, or nakapag-asawa ng foreigner or some other means na yumaman sila pero not in the same level as those na "lumang mayaman". I guess what I'm trying to say is, malaki ang alabang, hindi naman nila sinabing taga AYALA Alabang itong dalawang katulong na ito so malay natin kung ano ang totoong representation ng "Alabang" or context sa show na ito.

Pero napaisip ako, taga-Alabang din naman ako at may mga kapitbahay din akong kamukha nila sa posible. If the title implies that they represent "real" housewives of alabang and you like it, then you must want to be like them or you wish your daughter would be too. ReplyDeletei have nothing against filipinos who marry or are in a relationship with foreigners but i personally think they should carry themselves in a classier way, and by no means is class being "sosyal". it's already a common notion that most filipino that marries a foreigner is in it for the money, thanks to those mail order brides (to get a green card), but they shouldn't be so crass about it. i agree with Anonymous January 17, 2013 at 12:14 PM, these women should at least show some dignity and not prove the common notion that they are gold diggers. just saying.

ReplyDeleteSa totoo di sila maganda pero watch them and promise laugh trip sila. I saw them in willys show which i only ever watch kasi im waiting fo temptation of wife.anyway it was THE funniest ever. Chaka sila pero in person may charm sila. Sila yun tipong so what di kami mestiza beauty but what we lack in looks we make up for in confidence and personality.para silang mga beki na super funny.tinitira sila ng tinitira ni willy pero kita mo iniinda lng nila saka witty sila.para ngang bekis.

Nakakatuwa nga nung nameet ko sila sa TV5 as in naglakad talaga si Ms. Vanessa (Yung maputi at mas bata sa kanila) hanggang SM kasi yung kotse nya dun nakaparada saka hindi talaga sila suplada parang inday lang makipag-usap hindi por que marami silang gold sa katawan e suplada na. Kahit hindi sila talagang pang artista ang mukha pero yung ugali talaga nila totoo .

Pag pinay na pinay doesnt deserve love or fame or status or even be allowed the opportunity to aspire for it. I love these girls bec theyre in ur face and they refuse to listen to people who tell them theyre too ugly to live. Colonial mentality kasi tayo.but sila hindi.

ReplyDeleteSeems pathetic. But who cares. Kung uunlad network nila, Gow! Pera din yun ng Pilipinas. Kung may masisira silang morale, MTRCB na sana ang mag-initiate na wag ng i-ere ang show nila. I'm not a fan of reality shows kaya wala siguro akong karapatang humusga.
