Months ago, fans of this popular loveteam were so elated with the announcement that the couple were finally doing a movie together again. After the success of their second movie, the camps of female performer (FP) and media heartthrob (MH) surprised the fans for refusing to have a third movie soon after. Since then, FP and MH have proceeded with their own careers. FP got busy with her concerts and found love interests in between. Meanwhile, MH retained his position as a bankable actor in movies, endorsements, and other appearances.
As their fans anticipated the release of the third movie in time for Valentine’s Day, stories are now floating that the movie outfit will release a different movie on that day, one that will star the hottest actor in their stable and his former teleserye partner. Hence, there is now a question as to the fate of FP's and MH's movie.
Talks had it that the movie encountered problems along the way, causing some serious delay. Allegedly, MH has gotten hooked on something that has made the production hold the movie until MH is ready to face the cameras again. Over the past years, MH was the subject of stories about having drinks too many. His latest show, which started well, abruptly ended and rumors pointed to him becoming difficult to work with on the set.
Why is MH behaving badly these days? Isn't he supposed to be inspired with his new status? After he proudly proclaimed his latest relationship, not a few were happy for him and his girlfriend (GF), while others predicted that MH would drop GF soon. But so far, they seem so good.
Sadly, if MH's career plunges, GF might possibly be put in a bad light. Up to when will his network wait for MH? Will he shape up in due time?
A piece of advice to this actor: "In this business, fame lasts for a second. You can be blown up and be blown down. People keep losing interest in faces because new ones come along every single second.''

ReplyDeleteYes, rating wise bumaba nong pumasok na ang kulto sa kwento at parang naging si john estrada at eula na ang mga bida but despite that maraming commercials pa rin ang pumasok so kumita sya, then mas lalong nawala ng direction yong role ni popoy kasi di na mahagilap at difficult to work with na nga, tapos dapat itong pelikula ni sg pang-valentine presentation kaso parang not in the mood na naman si miggy kaya para makapagconcentrate kailangang dalhin sa ibang bansa para makaconcentrate si popoy.

Deleteor maybe frustrated at how fame and money limited him as an actor? before he hit it big time, he was getting awards the way coco is doing now but once he started being box office king, guess his home studio took advantage and gave him sure hits - he was doing more rom com than heavy drama or more socially relevant films...got to do one indie movie but just a cameo. i remember one interview he was looking forward to doing that indie movie with erik matti, di na ata sya kasama dun. maybe after too many successes moneywise, he remains unfulfilled as an actor (in the real sense of the word)? maybe this is his way of rebelling against his home studio? ang kaso in the end baka sya pa rin ang talo. :(

DeleteGrabe kasi mga bini build-up na talents ng Star Magic: Fafa Fi - Beki Ingat Popoy - Lasenggo Budoy - Womanizer at yung bago ngayon si Gino ba yun, may pagka bastos sumagot, at yung mga babae naman malalandi kahit mga bata pa, si Binondo lang ang matino tino sa kanila.
DeleteHmmm,It won't be a surprise if the next BI is nagkakalabuan na sila ng GF. On the other hand, di ganun kadali bumitiw si GF. Nakatiis nga sa ex nya na babaero. They are both busy though, she with her upcoming teleserye and he with the shoot of the 3rd movie with FP. It has been announced that it will be shown on end of March. I do think that this movie will bring his spirits up. He has mentioned in the past that FP gives him good vibes. I think rom com is good for him. Light and easy projects will be good for him. Nakaka drain din naman mag-internalize at mag drama. Laughter is always good for a tired soul/spirit.

DeleteActually nag resume na sila mag shoot sa part 3 movie na ito. Kunting scenes na lang kulang. Almost one week sila nag shoot nang scenes sa New York. Ang dami nga pictures nila dun with the crew at fans at mukhang in good spirits naman sya. Flight nila pabalik sa Manila was yesterday lang. Advertised na sa March 30 na yung showing nang movie nila. I think medyo burnout nangyari sa kanya. He just needed a break from heavy dramas, feel good at light movie muna. Perfect timing itong movie dahil marami ring nasabik dito sa team up na ito.

ReplyDeleteThis goes beyond being tired, non challenging roles and whatever excuses people have to cover up for his attitude. He needs to get into rehab, yun na!!!!! Grabe this has been going on for years now. What is his management doing about it? They seem to be in denial of his problems also. Until that happens, he will go the same way as others who lost their career and status and faded from the screen. How sad. Idol ko pa naman siya in his younger and more innocent days.

i think it's normal for Popoy to lost interest sometimes. Marami na sya naipon. And besides umay na siguro kung maka 3 movie sila ni Sarah G. Kayod kalabaw din si Popoy ah. He needs to rest and re invigorate himself. Maybe take a hiatus muna.

DeleteOh my he's my fave actor pa naman besides. Yun oh! aka YUMMY. And i really liked his movies with FP entitled "Napaka special na pag-ibig" and "Binago mo ang buhay in a moment". And im really looking forward for their 3rd movie pa naman. But the way i see base dun sa mga pics nila sa Big Apple. Ok naman si MH. Baka na-advisan na ni FP si MH. You know how good an influence si FP sa mga Leading Men nya. Tapos pag hindi na sya ang partner, balik ulit sa old habit. Look whats happening now to "Ham Actor", haha..

He has to accept that that's what people love about him. Kailangan niya magipon at maginvest. Sayang at wala siyang social network. Pinagkakakitaan na ngayon ang bawat tweet!

ReplyDeleteThe movie is for a March playdate. The guy is well and healthy and looking really good. He is working constantly and is verryyy busy. The tv show was concluded because he had to finish the film and the teleserye was taking so much of his time. Why do people insist on making up stories? Popoy is happy. Let him be.
ReplyDeleteI don't think P*p*y is happy. He does not look it. He looks bloated, balding and not really happy despite the smile. It shows in his eyes. I think he is Bipolar. He is very emotional with depressive episodes. And his being extravagant and spending money like there's no tomorrow is indicative of a bipolar disorder. And usually, people with this disorder turn to alcohol, drugs, and women to cheer them up when they are depressed. I hope he gets professional help and and adequate rest.And maybe a different girlfriend. This current one does not seem to be helping him become a better person.
