Philippine Superstar Nora Aunor plays a midwife in the movie, Thy Womb, helping a real pregnant woman give birth. Thy Womb is showing in theaters December 25.
Whoah! Nice One Nora! Magalinng na yan for a first timer to assist in a delivery.
Ahahaha! Joke lang Vilmanians, iloveyou Lucky!
I have seen this work. It may not be the most commercial of the lot but it is the BEST MOVIE in this year's MetroManila Film Festival. Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin gave highly commendable performances even outclassing the genre of their movie --- but Nora Aunor belongs to a league all on her own, showing us the nuances of true cinematic acting. Congratulations, Brilliante and Nora! THY WOMB gave credibility to this year's festival.
Only a brave actress/actor can do that! Hihimatayin ang iba nyan! How can u focus on acting if u'r doing a task as delicate as this? Acting is really her forte. Set aside na muna natin ang kanyang personal life. She has set the bar so high that our young actresses/actors today could not even reach the middle of it. I hope my fellow youth would appreciate this kind of movie. This is worth watching!
Congrats sa Thy Womb (but please watch One More Try, Sisterakas and even The Strangers, OK?).
i missed the digital version of Himala which was shown in seleceted Ayala Cinemas during the first week of Dec. I should watch Thy Womb. No one can equal "The Nora Aunor". She is the greatest actress of all time -- Ate Vi
I've seen this movie 2x in an international film fest..she is definitely THE Superstar and no one can take that from her...my fellow watchers here, different nationalities were giving the film major praises and round of applause with standing ovation ...Nora Aunor is a true Filipino Gem in Philipine showbiz industry.
just finished watching Thy Womb at Megamall..in fairness the crowd was appreciative and whew, i can almost smell Nora in the movie! so magnificent! ....so realistic!!!! Bravo for the Ultimate Consummate Actress Miss Nora Aunor!
