I feel sorry for this girl, in just one mistake her life will be change forever. it's really hard to comment on this one since we just saw one side of the story but because this videos it will be a big impact on her life another victim of cyberbullying.

From the video, it seems they are explaining their sides to a higher ranking officer. And the lady guard seemed to be lying about what happened. If that is the case then I would probably react the same way as the amalayer girl minus the accent. Haha. Isn't it really annoying when they change the story just so they could get away with what they did. And the one lying is the officer in uniform reporting to a colleague in uniform. One time in a mall, this guard was ransacking my bag with abandon. Tusok tusok ng batuta without care kung may masisira or mababasag. Nataon naman na merong mababasaging laman ung bag ko so I asked him "dahan-dahan naman manong, baka may mabasag". He angrily responded "trabaho ko magcheck ng bag at kung ayaw mo ipacheck bag mo wag ka pumasok sa mall". The thing is I submit my bag to the inspection. I was just asking na dahan dahan ang pagcheck kc I doubt if he would pay for anything na mababasag sa loob. Grrr.

May experience din ako sa lady guard sa SM. After akong kapkapan, itinulak ako sa likod papasok ng mall. Binalikan ko nga pero I didnt make a scene sinabihan ko lang na sa susunod huwag manulak. Nag sorry naman sya. Mula nun, hindi na ako pumasok sa entrance na yun. Minsan, abusado din ang mga guards, cashiers, sales ladies, etc. Pero kung edukado ka or well-bred, hindi paninigaw ang dapat na reaction mo. Meron ngang mga hindi nakatungtong man lang ng highschool o di nakatapos ng elementary pero mas asal tao pa kaysa sa mga tapos ng college.
Correct, kahit nabastos ka, it's not reason enough to humiliate in public kung talagang may pinag-aralan ka. You can say it in a nice way, kung sobra galit mo, just get sarcastic with the person in question without getting too much attention.

Let's face it, marami talagang security guard na nakakairita and most of the time di nila alam yung ginagawa nila (e.g. nantutusok lang naman ng bag yung iba sa LRT/MRT eh) but that's not an excuse para gumawa si ate Amalayer ng scene at sigaw sigawan yung lady guard. Nakakahiya sa mga magulang at sa eskwelahang pinapasukan mo (ayan tuloy nadamay pa sila). Why don't you go to the Head office para ireklamo siya? I agree with Anon 6:04. The short video obviously does not tell the whole story. Something/someone seemingly caused the girl to get very upset (upset enough dish out a not-so-subtle reaction.) It would be rash to make comments or observations regarding the guard or the girl who evidently was upset. That being said, I cannot see what the motive is for uploading the video. If it was to correct the lady guard, it would have been better sending the clip to management (although the clip does not show what the guard did prior to the girl raising her voice.) To me, the intent is to show the girl in a bad light. What for? Everyone has bad days or moments when we exercise bad judgement. What if, at your worst moment, somebody records your behavior and puts it up for the rest of the world to see? I ditto: hinay-hinay lang with our words. We can destroy with our words. I doubt if the lady guard really did grab her as she said in a phone interview. Maybe the guard just touched her arm to guide her back to the proper entrance. After all, this girl did not pass by the x-ray machine which is a must in this station. Everyone has to go through that, no matter how hurried they are. The guard had a right to correct her. Granted that the lady guard told her off in an offending manner, this girl didn't have to scream her head off and make a scene. When i first saw it, i can understand the girl’s frustration kung nag-power trip yung guard. Maraming ganyan kasi walang orientation sa courtesy in public service.i’m not asking na saluduhin tayo but at least you know that their are doing their job within their boundaries of duties and being courteous at the same time. I had an experience sa airport na he tried to me taxed sa laptop na dala ko. If I did not know the law and my privileges that guy can easily get away my 10k. I remembered when I was younger, my mom and I were at the food center sa mall sa megamall. Tapos meron yung mga janitor na naglilinis dun sa food court. I was sitting at one of the chairs duon while waiting for my mom tapos yung janitor habang naglilinis natabig nya yung coke na nasa table so nabuhos sa akin. And then he still kept cleaning like he didnt realize what he did. So, I got pissed and hinabol ko yung janitor tapos pinagsabihan and in the process nasigawan ko and narinig ng mga tao. I didnt know nakita pala ako ng mom ko. Nagalit ang mom ko sa akin and sinabi nya na wala daw akong karapatang maging bastos sa ibang tao. She wanted me to say sorry pero ayoko kasi feeling ko kasalanan nung janitor. Umuwi kami pero my mom was not done with me yet. The next day I didnt know kinausap nya yung mayari ng janitorial service and she told him about what happened. She was requesting the owner na bigyan daw ng day off for one day yung janitor and she wanted me to replace him as my punishment for being bastos. On top of that yung allowance ko for the day, she gave it to manong janitor. I was so mad but I cant do anything kasi my mom will not give my allowance for one week. Nung mag janitor ako for one day, I swear natuto akong rumespeto sa iba lalo na sa mga katulad nila manong janitor. Until now, kapag naaalala ko yung ginawa ko nanliliit ako sa sarili ko. Matutuo po tayong rumespeto sa iba. Let's not see others as inferior to us kasi mas may pinagaralan tayo. Si Amalayer, sa totoo lang mas may pinagaralan yung lady guard sa kanya. Whatever her problem is, what she have done was still wrong. She said that she's an educated, but the way she act, speak and treat people with authority is saying that she's not. Maybe it's better if we will stop spreading and making some post on social media about this issue to stop it getting viral, for the sake of her right also.

Oh, well. Malaki talaga ang kaibahan ng "nakapag-aral" sa "may pinag-aralan". Si Miss "Amalayer" ay classic example ng nakapagaral pero walang pinagaralan.

Di ko lang magets bakit kailangan ipagmalaki niyang EDUKADA at MAY PINAG ARALAN SYA pero nag eskandalo? I don't think may school na magtuturo sa students nila na mag eskandalo. Yes pwede mo idefend sarili mo in a good way. Pwede naman kausapin si lady guard ng mahinahon or mas maganda nga na dumerecho agad sya sa officer in charge dun para may mamagitan. Hindi yun nag eenglish sya dun at nagsisigaw. Tsk! Tsk!

poor girl. i bet, she will be cyber-bullied, eh dito pa nga lang binu-bully niyo na sya. yes, it wasnt right for her to scream at the lady guard, but it was very wrong of the guy who shot and uploaded the video to the net. gulo na nila yun, hindi na niya dapat ni-publicize! may mga nakikita naman tayo nagsisigawan sa public places, but we dont take their videos and worse upload it. it was amalayer and the guards business, not the video guy, nor ours.
I'm not siding with the ladyguard or to Amalayer, but I believe that Amalayer should have not been a beeyotch to be rude. Dapat, ni-report na lang niya sa authorities. Pero to the uploader naman, well, why should I care?

DeleteFrom the video, it seems they are explaining their sides to a higher ranking officer. And the lady guard seemed to be lying about what happened. If that is the case then I would probably react the same way as the amalayer girl minus the accent. Haha. Isn't it really annoying when they change the story just so they could get away with what they did. And the one lying is the officer in uniform reporting to a colleague in uniform. That is a frustrating scenario. Sana lang di nagtaas ng boses si amalayer girl. BUt the silence of the guard doesnt necessarily mean she is humble. Could also be di makasagot dahil guilty sa lying accusation. Then again these are all assumptions.
DeleteOne time in a mall, this guard was ransacking my bag with abandon. Tusok tusok ng batuta without care kung may masisira or mababasag. Nataon naman na merong mababasaging laman ung bag ko so I asked him "dahan-dahan naman manong, baka may mabasag". He angrily responded "trabaho ko magcheck ng bag at kung ayaw mo ipacheck bag mo wag ka pumasok sa mall". The thing is I submit my bag to the inspection. Binalikan ko nga pero I didnt make a scene sinabihan ko lang na sa susunod huwag manulak. Nag sorry naman sya. Mula nun, hindi na ako pumasok sa entrance na yun. DeleteLet's face it, marami talagang security guard na nakakairita and most of the time di nila alam yung ginagawa nila (e.g. nantutusok lang naman ng bag yung iba sa LRT/MRT eh) but that's not an excuse para gumawa si ate Amalayer ng scene at sigaw sigawan yung lady guard. Nakakahiya sa mga magulang at sa eskwelahang pinapasukan mo (ayan tuloy nadamay pa sila). Why don't you go to the Head office para ireklamo siya? I heard karamihan sa kanila (security guards) on a contractual basis lang kaya kung may mag rereport sa kanila about bad behavior, malaking minus points na kagad sa kanila yun.
About dun sa uploader, teh grabe ka naman. What's the point of uploading it online? Kung gusto mo maturuan ng leksyon yung tao, you should have given the said copy to the authorities (officers sa LRT/MRT). Ayan kinuyog tuloy si Amalayer.

I agree with Anon 6:04. The short video obviously does not tell the whole story. Something/someone seemingly caused the girl to get very upset (upset enough dish out a not-so-subtle reaction.) It would be rash to make comments or observations regarding the guard or the girl who evidently was upset. That being said, I cannot see what the motive is for uploading the video. If it was to correct the lady guard, it would have been better sending the clip to management (although the clip does not show what the guard did prior to the girl raising her voice.) To me, the intent is to show the girl in a bad light. What for? Everyone has bad days or moments when we exercise bad judgement. What if, at your worst moment, somebody records your behavior and puts it up for the rest of the world to see? I ditto: hinay-hinay lang with our words. We can destroy with our words. We can also be charitable with our words and make the world a better place.

Pwede naman niya ireport nalang sa management or sa suervisors ni ate guard and not directly humiliate her infront of everybody. sa ginawa niyang yan kasi, silang dalawa yung napahiya. DeleteI doubt if the lady guard really did grab her as she said in a phone interview. Maybe the guard just touched her arm to guide her back to the proper entrance. After all, this girl did not pass by the x-ray machine which is a must in this station. Everyone has to go through that, no matter how hurried they are. The guard had a right to correct her. Granted that the lady guard told her off in an offending manner, this girl didn't have to scream her head off and make a scene. She said in the interview that she wished this video didn't come out...well, it was done in a public place, so tht couldn't be controlled, and she should not have attracted the attention anyway.

I'm sure something happen kong bakit ganyan nalang ang galit nya. Kong makikita nyo ang video may isang security din nakatayo sa tabi nila. I think nag complain na sya sa ginawa nang security guard na babae at yong isang security guard na nakatayo sa tabi nila inaalam siguro kong ano talaga ang nangyari? Kaya siguro ganon nalang ang galit nya dahil yong security guard na babae ginawa pa syang sinungaling at ayaw sigurong aminin kong ano talaga ang nangyari. Nakikita lang kasi natin sa video na yong security guard na babae ang biktima pero wala tayo doon kaya mahirap mag judge. Ngayon na nasa youtube na sya malay natin malaman natin ang tunay na nang yari. Peace sa lahat opinion lang po

ReplyDeleteWhen i first saw it, i can understand the girl’s frustration kung nag-power trip yung guard. Maraming ganyan kasi walang orientation sa courtesy in public service.i’m not asking na saluduhin tayo but at least you know that their are doing their job within their boundaries of duties and being courteous at the same time. Lalo na yung may mga baril at may mga de-sabog, kala mo kanila yung building. Di mo rin sila masisi kasi nowadays yung mga good looking goons din.
ReplyDeleteI had an experience sa airport na he tried to me taxed sa laptop na dala ko. If I did not know the law and my privileges that guy can easily get away my 10k. May reaction then fitted to be in youtube kasi I really freaked out with the guy.
Maybe the lady guard did something or said that doesn't suit well to the young lady BUT the way she handle the situation but shouting, making a scene and that irritating attention garbing voice of her makes only proved how pathetic and ill mannered lady she is! such a disgrace to shout how educated you are and yet the way you speak, move and treat other people is such a BIG disappointment to your claim young lady!!! I too had encounters with guards that i felt i was disrespected but i always go to his superior or if there's a manager around to have my complain voice out rather than making such a big mess and a fool out of my self.
ReplyDeleteI remembered when I was younger, my mom and I were at the food center sa mall sa megamall. Tapos meron yung mga janitor na naglilinis dun sa food court. I was sitting at one of the chairs duon while waiting for my mom tapos yung janitor habang naglilinis natabig nya yung coke na nasa table so nabuhos sa akin. And then he still kept cleaning like he didnt realize what he did. So, I got pissed and hinabol ko yung janitor tapos pinagsabihan and in the process nasigawan ko and narinig ng mga tao. I didnt know nakita pala ako ng mom ko. Nagalit ang mom ko sa akin and sinabi nya na wala daw akong karapatang maging bastos sa ibang tao. She wanted me to say sorry pero ayoko kasi feeling ko kasalanan nung janitor. Umuwi kami pero my mom was not done with me yet. The next day I didnt know kinausap nya yung mayari ng janitorial service and she told him about what happened. She was requesting the owner na bigyan daw ng day off for one day yung janitor and she wanted me to replace him as my punishment for being bastos. On top of that yung allowance ko for the day, she gave it to manong janitor. I was so mad but I cant do anything kasi my mom will not give my allowance for one week. Nung mag janitor ako for one day, I swear natuto akong rumespeto sa iba lalo na sa mga katulad nila manong janitor. Until now, kapag naaalala ko yung ginawa ko nanliliit ako sa sarili ko. Matutuo po tayong rumespeto sa iba. Let's not see others as inferior to us kasi mas may pinagaralan tayo. Si Amalayer, sa totoo lang mas may pinagaralan yung lady guard sa kanya. Dapat mag apologize na lang sya sa ginawa nya sa guard.

(comments not only here but also sa ibang social media sites) yung iba kasi mka pag judge akala mo perfect at mga santa/santo, lahat naman tayo nagagalit, malas lang ni girl kasi may nakakuha ng video sa ginawa niya. i hope this serves a lesson not only to her but to everyone. :)

ReplyDeletepoor girl. i bet, she will be cyber-bullied, eh dito pa nga lang binu-bully niyo na sya. yes, it wasnt right for her to scream at the lady guard, but it was very wrong of the guy who shot and uploaded the video to the net. gulo na nila yun, hindi na niya dapat ni-publicize! may mga nakikita naman tayo nagsisigawan sa public places, but we dont take their videos and worse upload it. it was amalayer and the guards business, not the video guy, nor ours.
