i totally agree with sen. guingona....pakana lang yan ng mga pulitikong corrupt para hindi ma bash sa social media! para na rin itong martial law...no freedom of speech!
I like Sen. Guingona and have heard good things about him. I have a cousin who used to be part of his staff. He requested for a cash advance from Sen. TG's finance officer as he was graduating and when the officer had it approved, he wrote in the cash advance "gift". So nice!
..it's a waste of time, e kung puro anonymous o fake accounts gamitin mahuhuli mo ba? a crime under our laws is committed by a person, e sino yung person dyan? unless he/she uses his/her own account or own name, u cannot readily know who is committing 'cyberlibel'
Yes, they can. Pedeng ma-trace ang IP address. They could ask permission from facebook or twitter regarding your account information "ata". Unless, you're using prepaid or renting from a computer shop.
it can be traced. everything can be traced. kahit anong klaseng anonymous pa gawin nyo dyan. remember yung nagpakalat ng scandal nila ramgen, natrace sa turkey? well that basically answers it
Last minute insert ito ni Sotto….his revenge against his critics. It is disgusting. This is not constitutional because it's a blanket bill that can be used by the rich and the powerful (politicians) to bully and intimidate those who can't afford lawyers.
the idea of sen. guingona is still the same, and that is the existence of a Cybercrime Prevention Act. so that means online posters still have to be careful about what they are saying. It does not mean that when we are a democracy it already means we can demean and talk about other people behind their backs. regardless of whether they are public figures, the fact remains that cyber bullying has gotten worst over the years, and the character of the person being bashed and abused online has diminished. People talking about other people without thinking of the words they say and the feelings of the other party should be punished. it is as simple as that. for you to get respect, you should respect other people too. While the current bill may be questionable, the fact remains there should be one that has to control the bad-ass people out there who just speak and do not think about what other people are feeling. Democracy certainly has its benefits, but if it is abused, then maybe freedom is not all worth it. Don't you think? Be Responsible, and think responsible. Maybe then you can certainly claim that what you are saying is true.
Just a comment, all you people out there are continuing to bash and treat Sotto badly. Have you ever questioned your own actions? Have you ever thought of your own words? I do not like the man, but I would not certainly go through the words you are using just to put down the person. For that matter, if the Cybercrime Law is used, you would certainly go to jail. By the way, when you think of cyberlibel, and you cannot identify the person behind that account, it only proves that you are a criminal by itself and association. it only proves that responsibility has to take place. for you people out there who just happen to speak out your minds, you have to be quite careful in realizing the overall repercussions of your actions.
heeennnyyywwwwaaaayyyssss alam mo they are not putting sotto down lol they are just angry and stating the facts that you're good senator did and until now nagdedeny parin sya. How can you take him seriously kung paiyak iyak pa sya sa speech na hindi nya gawa at kinopya lang??? how can you even take him seriously kung sya mismo parang walang alam sa mga pinagsasabi sa speech nya??? can he define each terms he used or copied from other bloggers??? o sinabi nya lang yun para mag mukhang intelenhte at mabulaklak ang speech nya??? and damn how can you take him seriously kung di nya alam kung anu gusto nya senator? host o comedian???? aside from the fact na BALIMBING YANG GOOD SENATOR MO!
Sotto is a senator so he should be held in high regard. Unfortunately, his actions doesn't befit his position. What he did was a blatant act of plagiarism! If he doesn't recognize it as such, then he doesn't have any business holding a position in the government!
ang linis kasi ng senador na yan eh. ok na sya. nagplagiarize na, he lied about not referencing the blogger, tapos minaliit nya pa ang yung blogger eventually, tapos discriminate pa sya ng gays regarding anti-discrimination bill...
lakas maka-badvibes ni kuya haha
basta, he should have know better. matanda na sya eh.
Last time I checked we have every right to criticize a Senator, especially when he does something not only stupid, but unethical. Luckily for him plagiarism is not a criminal offense. If you think we are supposed to be held responsible for our actions, then a government official and civil servant should be all the more responsible for his.
Agree ako dito para mahimasmasan yung mga mahilig mang bash at mang insulto ng sagad sa buto. Meron kasing way na pagbibigay ng opinion in a decent way at yung iba kasi kung magsabi ng opinion barubal.

Sotto is a liar and a plagisrist. That's what the people are saying. That is not bullying, that is telling the truth. Gets mo, Ciara?
