    1. I got this from zinio. Chuvaness also wrote about this in her blogsite. It was the bomb! There seems to be a lot of comments siding him here. I wonder if the culprit spent a lot of time typing those. Pretty sure Tyra is aware of this issue, tis careless of her team not to do background check if she didn't. Let this scumbag enjoy his 15 minutes of fame. It's so sad that someone as lowlife as he is was given an international exposure. He does not deserve it. His transgressions will not go unpunished,I am sure about that. It's just a matter of time. That's the way life goes. Let's sit back and wait for it.

    2. There's really such a thing as credit card fraud. Know what, i should know coz I friend of a friend is into that. Like BB in the Rogue article, the person had around 10 cards in differnt names. He used each card alternately depending on the amount of purchase he would make. After a certain number of purchases or its equivalent, he discards it and never to use it again. When the real account holder finds out, it would be too late and the culprit will never be detected anymore. I just don't know who ends up paying the stolen amount: the bank or the account holder.

    4. Sour grapes? Bakit? He's a user and famewhore, and he's cruel to his own "friends" and family. Sorry, wala siyang redeeming qualities.

    5. What can you expect from someone who's a self-proclaimed drug user? My goodness, ang hindi ko lang maintindihan why the likes of Marc Jacobs and Tyra Banks trust him inspite of all these. Gives me goosebumps!

    7. Anon 6:50 Bryan, istatchu?

    3. Ah no, I knew Tim from way back (he was known as Timothy then) and he certainly was not "totoong socialite", but he made social climbing a career and in fairness to him, he did reach the pinnacle of Philippine alta sociedad and the inhabitants there seem to have accepted him as one of their own, albeit grudgingly.

  15. I think Bryanboy's a shameless fame whore. There's nothing fashionable about him, and about the fact that he committed credit card fraud, not to mention ratting on his so-called "friends", just so he can keep up with the Joneses. On the contrary, he's more of a fashion victim to me. Kudos to Rogue for exposing how desperate Bryanboy is to gain fame.

Just like Liz Uy, I just want his fashion hoard - I'll never want to be like him, even remotely.

  16. Where are the criminal cases? If these are true, then how come he's not behind bars. Sorry pero I've been following this story: these so called elitista's no better than bryanboy. Why publish an article based on hearsay chuva? Why not pursue him in court if not true.

  19. I remember that he even flaunted his dependence on drugs in his blog, making it appear that getting high was THE ultimate way to live it up. I mean, REALLY?! What does he think of himself, the 2nd coming of Kate Moss? Kaya yung mga excerpts from Bryanboy's ex-friends, I believe eh, kasi siya mismo, basing on his earlier posts, ang nag-validate ng claims nila.

Sorry but for me, Bryanboy's blog is one whole crapload of farcical fluff. And no, this isn't crab mentality - I'm leaving that to him.

I google'ed BryanBoy and found out about his blog and that he is well into his career ATM. If he was indeed into scamming, why is he still not arrested? I really do think na yung biktima nya, if ever there were, mag file na nang case and let the police/court do the rest. Otherwise, purely sour-graping.

    1. They wont. They feel embarrassed just to be hoodwinked by a third-world scammer. Actually what makes Bryanboy tick, is because of his self-deprecating humor. He bashes himself and is not ashamed to claim he came from third world, that his fashion sense is trash, that he is a famewhore asking caucasian men and whoever to hold his paper with self love then he takes picture of it and post it in his blog. He never for one day claimed to be anything but a social climbing faggot. Sinabi nya yan sa old posts nya. Mahirap hulihin ang card fraud coz he does not use it more than twice in a day...ano ba naman kayo...do you think he will go this far kung bobo yan?

    1. yes, ask you idol BB how much he really earn and try to compute if all adds up, just like all social climbers, they cannot show you their true source of income

  33. My short thoughts:

    1. The credit card thing is not illegal per se unless he stole somebody else's SSN. If he applied for them using truthful (may be a bit stretched out) info, that's not illegal. The fact that it's not being pursued in court, makes it seem that he didn't do anything wrong.

    2. He may have been crass, too honest about wanting the branded and high-end labels but, so what? He's honest about being a fashion-whore. No pretensions about it. So, gow lang!!

    3. He has undeniably scaled the high peaks of world-fashion with all his publicities, hobnobbing and first-name basis with people like Anna Wintour, Marc Jacobs, etc.; He did it mostly by being known through his blog. I think people are judging him for his being outre and speaking his desire for the finer clothes/fashion. I think people should not be judgmental kung hindi naman kayo nagkaroon ng interaction man lang.

    3. Chikatime was popular. It was the Fashionpulis of its time. Puro BIs that people loved reading about.

    4. Whoever started/wrote the false rumor that Chikatime was this person or that should be the one being condemned for slander or libel if the injured parties would want to do so.

    1. That is true. Bryanboy never stays in one place longer enough to be tracked down...at wala namang humahabla kasi di ganyan kabilis madiscover ang card fraud...mga 1 wk, 2 wks....fleeting, then he rids of it im sure. Why Tyra Banks, et al like him, its not because they like his person, but because BB has an audience. What eats people's goat is, he is such a genius in what he does, he gets what he desires that other people can only dream of. Muddy the issue, etc.

    2. Lol. First of all, FP has a legit and very much existent source of income-he's a professor. And bitch please, we know who he is, he doesn't hide under a pseudonym. My hubby went to the same college where he's a professor. Never equate this guy to that scoundrel's flagrant show of attempts to belong to the upper strata of society. Weh! This is getting boring. Apparently you do not know how to distinguish right from wrong. God bless your soul, if you have one. Enjoy your 15 mins of fame. And when you finally end up in the slammer, we'd be there to watch you every step of the way. I hope they put you in an area full of pedophiles and rapists. 5. AnonymousSeptember 18, 2012 8:18 AM: Sino ang nabiktima niya because of a credit card scam? Do you even know what the supposed credit card scam was? Walang taong nabiktima (unless nga may magpakilala). He applied for a lot of credit cards. The banks gave him the credit cards. So, sino ang supposed biktima? Also, what I hate are those criticisms na social climber daw siya. Do these people think that the other people who criticize BB are humble, walang pakialam sa publicity, not fame-whores, hindi nag-ne-name drop, etc. ??? I don't think so. At least, si BB, you get what you expect e iyong iba, kung maka-name-drop ng kung ano-ano e akala mo ang Santo-santo nila. don't believe so.

BB must be good at covering his tracks since matagal na ang isyung to na kesyo he's into credit card fraud. nagtaka lang ako kung bakit ngayon lang uli lumabas ang issue na to. nag-coincide pa with his ANTP judging stint. the main reason BB was/is able to hobnob with international fashion bigwigs was he got good advice from someone who belongs to high society on how to penetrate the international fashion industry. he was considered a friend until the whole chikatime brouhaha exploded and this person found out that he was skewering his so-called friends on that site. i used to read his blog but my fascination only lasted for a few days. i noticed that his timelines were inconsistent so i knew that he was a poseur and that turned me off. i see nothing wrong with being upwardly mobile ;) pero hindi tama na mag-pretend to be someone you're not or be a backstabbing "friend". and if true, it is downright criminal to buy things using stolen credit card infos.

  41. If he's a perpetrator of credit card fraud, charge him. Otherwise, let's move on. I neither love nor hate him, I just don't get all the fuss about him. An expose on him? Sino ba to that he would merit an expose? I always saw him as a Paris Hilton or Kardashian in fashion blogging - famous for being famous, famous yet does nothing. To all his haters - including the writer and sources of the so-called expose - you just made his day. Imagine, this expose validates him as someone who is actually expose worthy - this increases his market value and encourages him to famewhore some more so give yourselves a big pat on the back.

They were filthy rich. They have inheritance. They have "will". They do not use public transport, they have their own cars, jets! They might be famous for doing nothing but it's their family that's responsible for it. Not like you, you lived in a squalid home, fuckin dos por dos, really? You can' t even afford IKEA? Why won't people raise their brows where you got those luxury brands when your background, your family background, failed to support the "how" factor?

  43. The Rogue article is for Manila's pseudo-elite crowd only. He said. She said. That well-orchestrated move to accuse an individual of something without an iota of evidence in the past 4 years is despicable.

What is happening is the individual is lynched via a publication which trashed him by not focusing on facts but on the individual's humble beginnings. The focus on BBs dos por dos house and jeepney ride was done in poor taste. There is this "exclusive village mentality". It doesn't work in America. This condescending attitude is a sure hit in Manila but despised in America.

The motive is pure and simple: vendetta and jealousy. The leader of the mob, whose family has its own ill-gotten wealth skeletons, can't get a front-row seat in the New York Fashion Week while her chief nemesis Bryanboy gets one. It's the survival of the fittest crab.

    4. So Anon 10:37 AM, someone who cannot buy Starbucks cannot aspire or dream or write about expensive things??? What BS! Call me BB if you want pero this is why I am defending BB. What people do not realize is that the Fashion heads of the world realize that BB's passion for fashion can reach a BROAD, WIDE range of people and, also, that BB Knows a lot of fashion and can intelligently discuss it with ANYONE (just based on his blog writings). I would consider him a fashion-savant. Anyway, the point is that his passion is undeniable and his reach is undeniable and his taste is compelling (even if you don't agree with his choices). That's why he is succeeding. Kahit wala siyang cash for Starbucks, he is very talented and passionate about fashion trends and can be considered a tastemaker or, at the least, a very influential fashion mover/publicist. People who call other people social climbers are sometimes people who are insecure or wish they were in his position. Saka, iba ang social climber sa fashionista. I think fashionista si BB and he happens to intersect with some high-society people. Pero kung babasihin mo blog niya, he really is mainly interested in the Fashion industry and people... not necessarily the high-society people na iba ang mundo. If you're going to name-call, do it right.

    5. I agree that some "pseudo-elite" crowd of Manila seem to have gone overboard with their criticisms of BB. I am not condoning everything that BB seemed to have done pero I think some of these pseudo-elites is parang mga colegialang spoiled na hindi ma-take na somebody that they did not like is succeeding in the field that they all used to be passionate about. Ang hindi ko talaga maatim e, number 1. the focus is on BB being from the other side of the track. And, 2, it still seems that BB did not do anything that bad to anyone personally e. Okay, let's say he was a bad friend pero ang peg ng iba dito e criminal siya or worse. Don't think so. And even if he was Chikatime, 95% of those condemning him (i.e., mga forumers) probably enjoyed reading Chikatime during its heyday too.

  44. since the time he was starting out with a blog, i have followed bryanboy. i thought he was just one of those bloggers who wanted to say something about fashion and his postings were different. then, stories about his rising from rags to riches came out. then, the rest is history shaped by all the other writings.

because this article came out when BB is on american tv, the instinct is always it's crab mentality. actually, no one cares. american viewers will not care. tyra, well? we don't know. bb can always deny, right? there's always karma for BB anyway.

i'm more interested in his alleged bf, the son of an infamous corrupt military officer.

Garcia bought properties in the States including a condominium (Trump Plaza) in New York. BB stayed with him in that condo at some point. The Garcia son was actually under house arrest in New York at one time because of the plunder charge. I say, birds of a feather.

They tried to ask BB for an interview(before pa lumabas ang issue sa rogue) pero di daw pumayag. If BB is innocent, ders nothing wrong with the interview right?.

i think the point of all this is BB's pretensions & questionable source of income. why hide where you are from? saying you live in Ayala-Alabang when you live in Tunasan? there is nothing wrong with humble beginnings if you embrace it & not hide it. have you ever lived in upscale communities in the US? my sister in law resides in one. the Locals are also snooty over there by the way...
and how about the money he used to buy all his high end designer stuff? he didn't even have a decent job. admirers & supporters just can't seem to grasp the fact that people who don't support him aren't bitter, jealous or putting him down, it's about his being pretentious & dubious. if this person for you is worth your admiration then i suggest you take a LONG, HARD look at yourselves & what morals & principles you do possess.
