AnonymousJuly 12, 2012 3:45 AM siguro ang ibig sabihin nya eh the dress from ms. sarte could pass as part of the Givenchy collection....sobrang gaya nga naman.....
Ouch! Kung ako si Charina Sarte magagalit ako. Inspired kaya ako. I was so inspired by Givency's dress that I didn't want to innovate anymore. Ganung ganun na lang. Tseh! >:P
100000000% imitation!!!! Grabe naman di man lang nagbago kahit sa sleeves or sa tela or sa cut-out or sana man lang kulay!!! Pero talagang kopyang kopya!!!! Grabe the girl designer sya yung tamad magsketch di ba?
What else is new? There's also this gown worn by monster mom daughter na bilib na sana ako, thigh high slit...
Gosh! Imitation yan noh! Hindi man lang nilagyan ng konting twist or iniba ang color, binawasan lang ng konting detail sa baba, but is sure looks the same. Kalurkey!
Sobrang imitation!
Probably because it was the fashion direction of the shoot. Photo with the Givenchy dress is from a shoot in Harper's Bazaar (as obviously seen in the photo).
Kalokohan pag sinabing inspiration! This is definitely imitation!
Charina sarte is such a non-designer. I don't even know why she has a store. She's just a social climber pretendig to have talent and charging a ridiculous amount for her clothes.
A person who copies clothes should not be called a designer.... Mananahe or even costurera is too good a term for pseudo designers like her
Inspiration echos, ito ay PIRATED! Haha! Lovi is looking hot these days though, ang sexy ng girl na to and I'm loving her tan!
agree, kaso parang may wrong sa make-up nya na hindi ko ma-describe. masyadong pale ata ang shade ng lipstick? basta, parang may wrong sa make up pero ang sexy nya talaga, day!
di ba dami BI's about charina sarte dito? hehe. kaya ko nga sya nakilala kaka google kung sino sya! hehe. parang di copy..parang yun mismo yung outfit..changed the label. what do you guys think? to get inspiration from famous designers abroad is ok..dont copy it as is, gawan ng twist dapat. kasi kahiya hiya pag nakita ng tao na its just a copy. saka di ba parang nakakababa naman ng moral kasi alam mong di mo pinaghirapan ang ideas, then people will praise you for it?
Tapos magkaiba naman ng model / wearer - one is caucasian and the other, an asian.
Nakakagalit. You want to support local designers but go to their shops-- Randy Ortiz for Myth polos are almost P6,000 each while Zara has great polos for P2,990. And if you check the fabric mas maganda pa yung Zara. Check the quality, yung local na mas mahal hindi ginugupit yung extra thread. Check the fit and availability of sizes, laos na naman ang local. "DESIGNER' pa man din. Rajo for Men uses ---RIBLE fabric! Go to a designer to have something made ibibitin ka naman. Or they're snobbish, making you wait kung kelan nila matapos. So, bakit pa? Tapos ngayon, kopya pa! The quality is so bad it makes you think if these designers wear their own creations.
LOL! Nakakadisappoint na ang mga filipino designers ah...
CLEARLY A POOR AND CHEAP IMITATION!!! WHAT DISGUST ME MORE ABOUT THAT THE DESIGNER WILL TAKE ALL THE CREDIT AND SELL CHEAP IMITATION OUTFITS ON A HIGHER PRICE OR ALSO AS EXPENSIVE AS THE ORIGINAL SUCH A DISGUSTING DESIGNER NO MORAL AND SELF RESPECT AT ALL!!!
-- is KNOWN to copy other designers' designs. She thinks the Filipinos do not have access to international magazines. She thinks we won't see it. ha-ha. wake up. This is disgraceful and you should stop before their big shot lawyers sue you :)
Gone are the days when you can go to a designer and have an outfit specifically DESIGNED for YOU. An original (or perhaps INSPIRED by an original) you can be proud to wear because of its ORIGINALITY (slash exclusivity, hence the hefty price tag) and impeccable craftmanship.
Nowadays, if you have an outfit made by a 'so-called' designer, google first if that person has a reputation of copying (shameless!) ideas, otherwise, you'll be paying a huge amount for a 'knock-off'.
LAHAT NAMAN NGAUN GUMAGAYA NA LANG SA NAKITA, NARINIG, NABASA O NAPANUOD. HINDI NYO PWEDE SABIHIN NA ANG GINAWA NYO OR GAGAWIN NYO AY ORIGINAL. SA PANAHON NGAUN WALA NANG ORIGINAL, LAHAT NA AY COPYCAT. BAKA NGA UNG SINASABI NYO NA GINAYA NI MS SARTE AY GUMAYA DIN SA IBANG DESIGNER. KUNG GUSTO NYO NANG ORIGINAL NA KASUOTAN UMAKYAT KAYO SA MOUNTAIN PROVINCE DOON NYO MAKIKITA ANG TALAGANG ORIGINAL NA KASUOTAN NG MGA IGOROT. HINDI NA BAGO ANG GANITONG KWENTO, AT SA TINGIN KO HINDI KRIMEN ANG GINAWA NI MS SARTE.
Givenchy came up with Rotweiler prints, Balmain came up with pagoda shoulders, Marc Jacobs came up with grunge, Gaultier turned the conical bra into a fashion statement, Prada innovates EVERY season. They were INSPIRED and had influences but they never copied a WHOLE dress.
Sige type mo GIVENCHY..so ano nabasa mo????
LET'S NOT SUPPORT LOCAL DESIGNERS NA PLAIN COPYCATs!!!...
A Blatant Imitation! This is a slap to the creative team behind Givenchy and to Riccardo Tisci who have such a milieu of experience and sophistication in the fashion industry. Designers like her give Philippine Designers circle a bad name and a copy-cat reputation.
Now I know why Filipino designers are still on the same low level and can't compete with other countries in terms of design, creativity and ORIGINALITY.
Fp lets all petition to have her block listed sa list of designers ng stylebibla.
Tisci vs. Sarte. She is friends with RL who is well known for copying and for many times featured here as an imitator. These people who feel they are god's gift to humanity or royalties. SHAME!
I ban siya..SUNUGIN...
Charina Sarte has always been overrated so this doesn't surprise me. The problem with supporting local designers lies in the industry's culture of exclusion. Success is not always determined by talent...connections and money reign supreme.
CHARINA "CHAKA" SARTE.
Charina is no designer.
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CREATIVE FILIPINO DESIGNERS?? ASAN NA SILA?? WALA NANG ORIGINALITY MGA 'DESIGNERS' NA TO. PURO CHEAP KNOCK OFF LANG. SA FASHION INDUSTRY, BASTA MAY PERA, MAGALING NA AGAD NA DESIGNER OR 'STYLIST'. PWEEH!

ReplyDeleteLET'S NOT SUPPORT LOCAL DESIGNERS NA PLAIN COPYCATs!!!...
Sad but true.
DeleteA Blatant Imitation! This is a slap to the creative team behind Givenchy and to Riccardo Tisci who have such a milieu of experience and sophistication in the fashion industry. Designers like her give Philippine Designers circle a bad name and a copy-cat reputation.
Wala gnawa kundi mkpgsabayan knla rupa n bello. I doubt it kng marunong humawak ng karayon yan
Deletea disgrace!!!
Replicas kumbaga.
ReplyDeleteparang who wore it better lang! hahaha
ReplyDeleteSkeletor CHARINA SARTE... Where's your SHAME??? IMITATION!! Gaya Gaya!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnouk
Dapat nga ang unang magalit kay Charina Sastre are her writer, entertainer, and designer friends because this is PIRACY.
ReplyDeleteNow I know why Filipino designers are still on the same low level and can't compete with other countries in terms of design, creativity and ORIGINALITY.
ReplyDeleteSo Fashion Designer na pala ang tawag sau if you imitate someone's else work #onlyinthePhilippines
ReplyDeleteDiba one of her friends is Rajo? The King of ---tation :))))
ReplyDeleteGood Job Fashion Pulis!
ReplyDeleteCharina, u have the right to remain silent...
ReplyDeleteI agree. Stylbible.ph seems to be okay with knock-offs (rip-off?)!!! They even featured this dress in their 'Best Dressed' Section!
DeleteThis is the fashion industry in the Philippines?
Yup this is THE fashion industry in the PHILIPPINES today. Sad but true :(
DeleteFp lets all petition to have her block listed sa list of designers ng stylebibla.
DeleteTisci vs. Sarte. She is friends with RL who is well known for copying and for many times featured here as an imitator. These people who feel they are god's gift to humanity or royalties. SHAME!
I ban siya..SUNUGIN...
ReplyDeleteCharina Sarte, you're nothing but a third rate (second rate si Red) trying hard copycat.
ReplyDeleteNAKAKAHIYA ANG MGA SINASABING "SOSYAL" DAW NA DESIGNERS NA MAHAL MANINGIL. ANG CHEAP NYO!! SA DIVISORIA NA LANG AKO MAGPAPATAHI o
ReplyDeletePirated! Kakahiya naman!
ReplyDeleteCharina Sarte has always been overrated so this doesn't surprise me. The problem with supporting local designers lies in the industry's culture of exclusion. Success is not always determined by talent...connections and money reign supreme.
ReplyDeleteKorek! Kaya nga ren madaming social climbers!
DeleteAgree!
ReplyDeleteDI MAN LANG INIBA ANG COLOR! shameless!
ReplyDeleteCheap copy
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem living in the 3rd world countries, social climbing designers tend to think we don't know anything about high fashion.duh!!
ReplyDeleteThat's the problem living in the 3rd world countries, social climbing designers tend to think we don't know anything about high fashion...duh!!
ReplyDeletehindi original..so Made in Charina
ReplyDeleteCHARINA "CHAKA" SARTE.
ReplyDeleteCharina is no designer.
ReplyDeleteWHATEVER HAPPENED TO CREATIVE FILIPINO DESIGNERS?? ASAN NA SILA?? WALA NANG ORIGINALITY MGA 'DESIGNERS' NA TO. PURO CHEAP KNOCK OFF LANG. SA FASHION INDUSTRY, BASTA MAY PERA, MAGALING NA AGAD NA DESIGNER OR 'STYLIST'. PWEEH!
ReplyDeleteGaya gaya... Di na nag isip!
