Is this the pictorial kung saan ang dating miss universe nagwala daw after seeing the daughter dress up in skimpy clothes? Or was it the cover kung saan mukha cyang killer?? Anyway, don't like the cover. I don't understand the concept if there is even one. Looks like they're 'draped' over some gym equipment or a gymnast's parallel bar. Anne and georgina's clothes are i guess trying to achieve that androgynous look but para silang may gender identity issues. Just my opinion. Fashion sense is different for everyone.

i'm sooo disappointed in preview mag. i used to buy all their issues but lately, wala ng kalaman laman ang magazine nila. i find their editorials "tired" and their concepts a rehash of what we've all seen before. for the past year, the only worthwhile editorial i've seen from them was "it's not a small world after all." preview is not as fashion forward as it used to be and their attempts at pushing the envelope are blah. paging eic pauline juan and creative director vince uy! it's time to reinvent the magazine... you used to be the best fashion magazine in the country but lately, metro and mega are proving to be more substantial than preview. the last issue of my subscription was the kris aquino cover. when i saw your cover for this month i realized my decision to not renew my subscription was right.
this is the only sensible comment i read, and i have to agree. ive been reading preview for the last 7 years, and admit it or not, they cant put any good topic,there is nothing to read, and fans of the magazine are so cheap and tacky in facebook.

Goodness me, what is LIZ freaking UY doing here? She totally cheapened it all. Not to mention wishing Georgina was in the center instead. Putting Anne in front makes it more catalogue-ish and commercial than editorial.

i've seen concepts that scream "gaya gaya". in fashion, it's ok to have pegs but it's too obvious, and for preview masyado na ata madalas. kumbaga sa words, masyado literal.

i'm not a fan of liz uy but people here are so vicious and i hate to say it but SUPERFICIAL! Liz Uy is not pretty, true, I used to say the same myself. And yet she's made a name for herself. Does anyone think Oprah's beautiful featureswise? Yet she made an empire not many of the richest men in the Phils have accomplished. Now, my point is, only in the Phils will people let lack of natural beauty deter a person from being the great success she has already proven herself to be, must be the colonial mentality that's so darned hard to shake off. These girls looked more attractive in the video, when their personalities were allowed to shine through, not when they've been turned into mask-like shadows of themselves. I think what's made these girls truly beautiful is not their beauty per se (except for Anne and Georgina). I think it's actually the way they are which should have been let through. Some girls have pretty packaging and that's it. These girls are much more and yet talong talo ito dun sa gretchen ruffa dawn angel aquino issue dati. Somehow they're all beautiful pero it doesn't have the impact it should.

ReplyDeletei'm sooo disappointed in preview mag. i used to buy all their issues but lately, wala ng kalaman laman ang magazine nila. i find their editorials "tired" and their concepts a rehash of what we've all seen before. for the past year, the only worthwhile editorial i've seen from them was "it's not a small world after all." preview is not as fashion forward as it used to be and their attempts at pushing the envelope are blah. paging eic pauline juan and creative director vince uy! it's time to reinvent the magazine... you used to be the best fashion magazine in the country but lately, metro and mega are proving to be more substantial than preview. the last issue of my subscription was the kris aquino cover. when i saw your cover for this month i realized my decision to not renew my subscription was right.

Liz doesn't look pangit naman, just a bit off, kasi her "beauty" doesn't match the others'. She looks hot pa rin, and in fact medyo nkkamukha nya si Ruffa G dito. The color palette and clothes are fine, also their poses except ANNE's. She really shouldv'e done more. NATABUNAN SYA.

ReplyDeleteHindi maayos ang nag director ng photo shoots nila. Si GEorgina, ang haba ng legs, sayang kasi nakatago. Si Anne, Isabelle at Solenn mukhang phinotoshop lang yung ulo at dinikit. Lalo na si Anne. Si Isabelle, hoochie ang pose nya. parang FHM cover. Para lang magmukhang matangkad si Anne, pinaluhod sila Anne at Solenn. Although si Isabelle nagmukhang mahaba talaga ang biyas, but it didn't work on Solenn... Si Anne haatang maliit pa rin kasi lagpas beywang nya sila Solenn at Isabelle.

And yet she's made a name for herself. Does anyone think Oprah's beautiful featureswise? Yet she made an empire not many of the richest men in the Phils have accomplished. Now, my point is, only in the Phils will people let lack of natural beauty deter a person from being the great success she has already proven herself to be, must be the colonial mentality that's so darned hard to shake off. Liz Uy has more than made up for her lack of natural beauty with her talent and her attitude. GIVE HER A BREAK PEOPLE and stop being so superficial. You know I bet most of you mas panget pa kay Liz Uy. Honestly, she's not so bad. People may not be conventionally beautiful but generally when they have great personalities, vivacity, vibrance, light, they exude beauty! ReplyDeleteThese girls looked more attractive in the video, when their personalities were allowed to shine through, not when they've been turned into mask-like shadows of themselves. I think what's made these girls truly beautiful is not their beauty per se (except for Anne and Georgina). I think it's actually the way they are which should have been let through. Some girls have pretty packaging and that's it. These girls are much more and yet talong talo ito dun sa gretchen ruffa dawn angel aquino issue dati. Somehow they're all beautiful pero it doesn't have the impact it should.
