Its not about originality dahlin. Esquire Philippines is the local version of Esquire US. Kasama sa usapan (agreement) nila na ilolocalize ung Esquire and that means they need to get the original feel of the US version. Well of course youll know that if your a reader and gets yun ng market ng Esquire.,..the question is....are you? =) *peace
it's not an exact copy so pwedeng inspired by, but still, there's a chance na hindi rin original yung kay beyonce. i don't think na nung 2011 lang may nakaisip mag-photoshoot sa ganyang setup
Actually, the booklet for Beyonce's "4" album has a picture in one of the inside pages of Beyonce in almost the exact same pose as Anne's. So yeah, imitation talaga.
From hands to waist-- fierce! Pero Omg Anne's legs look reaaaally short in this pose. Katurn off from the waist down. And as for the imitation/inspiration thing, ok lang yan. Magkaiba naman colors/clothes/poses. Same props used lang. Cool ka lang, FP! Hahaha hahaha.

It's not a flattering shot for Anne, not to mention hindi bagay ung damit so I would say imitation kasi if this were "inspiration" then everything would go together - from the clothes to the pose. Eto parang pilit, trying hard na maging edgy but the clothes and makeup are so safe and preppy! Walang sense. Yan ang hirap when mga magbabakarda ang nagtratrabaho sa isang magazine, you have half baked outputs because the people are hired for their personalities and social status instead of skill and talent. And please, enough of Anne. Don't get me wrong, I like Anne - not a fan so I don't watch her shows or movies - but I find her likable enough. Pretty girl but NOT a model.
I super love Ann and the call me maybe friends kasi sob rang Ganda ng faces nila..pero I agree. First tingin pa Lang I wondered na why her legs look so short eh slender naman xa in real life. The cover pa of this issue, ang sob rang Ganda ng clothes, swear sob rang summer -rainy pastel pero bakit panget ng color ng background etc? Nagging boring.
Masyado at a sila nagging complacent sa shoot nila and akala nila keri na ng personality ng celebs ang fashion..saying this issue sob rang Ganda pa naman ng girls..

Preview has a record of copying a lot of fashion editorials/concepts/ideas from different international magazines. Like yung cover si Kris Aquino nung 2007 (Dark Side and theme) eh ginaya lang naman nila yung concept sa isang issue ng Vogue China.
